Here's a short review:Parking - Right in front of the establishment. Free.Food - Prices are too high for the quality that you get. Imagine paying $18 for a dragon roll with old fish when you could go somewhere like Doraku and get better for the same price. The fish is not fresh. This place would be okay if you're looking for variety to try everything out, but it's not worth it. I promise.Service - Underwhelming. They're short staffed. Had two tables seated after us whom finished their food and left before we got ours. Our orders were simple so we didn't understand why.Ambiance - casual. They had a cool conveyor belt but no sushi in rotation. I guess it's for decor.I don't usually leave bad reviews...

Updated review for dine-in, still 3 stars but a Hawai'i 3 which is an anywhere else 4 and a middle America 5!Recently came in for a weeknight sushi date -- previously we had only ordered online for takeout. KuruKuru no longer has their conveyor belt sushi delivery system, it's more of a traditional ordering style but with the same colored small plates. You can still sit on the bar or there are a few booths as well. We went with booth seating and got the end booth with one bench, which meant me and my date got to cuddle up on each other. Our order: 2 hot teas 2 orders of their garlic salmon and garlic hamachi: both 10/10! Perfectly seared, definitely better when you eat it right away! 1 agedashi tofu: something nice to warm you up! so good. 1 spicy ahi wonton1 spicy ahi tenmaki - between the two, the spicy ahi wonton was the best with a nice crunch element 1 spicy hamachi: i thought i would be a bigger fan, but the spicy ahi was better than the spicy hamachi. Our bill for this was around $100 with tip and we did end up getting hungry again later.

Yummy and big portions! I got their dynamite spicy ahi bowl, dynamite inari bombs, and chicken karaage. Good service and food is made to order now here.

Tsunkai, you have failed your regular customers. You decided it was better to cater to a certain demographic who think that each plate that you offer on your menu deserves an additional $2 price increase across the board. We asked you to lower your prices to attract your old customers back and you have ignored us. The interior hasn't changed and still looks dated. Please, in order for you to stay in business with the little customers that you have, update your interior, lower your prices and bring back the quality that we deserve! As for now, thank you for making it easy to make the extra trek out to your competitor, Sushi Bay.

Great for groups as their menu has quite a variety of items but it can also get really busy during peak hours. Be prepared to wait if you have a decent sized group. They still did not have menu items on the conveyor belt when I ate here. I ordered the spicy tuna don, salmon belly, and tonkatsu. The salmon belly was really good as it was good sized pieces of salmon and was moist. The spicy tuna don was okay as the fish quality was not that great and the spicy was missing flavor. The tonkatsu was the worst dish and I would not recommend ordering it. Most of the pieces were small and half of them were super dry with hardly any pork. Their kabocha (pumpkin) tempura was really good though. I do think Kuru Kuru has better quality than Genki Sushi but some items are hit or miss.

The food here is fresh and delicious although a bit pricey. They are also short staffed so pack your patience. While I was there today there was one person waiting on the dine in customers, handling the take out orders, answering the phone AND cashiering.

This place certainly has lost a lot of customers. It used to be packed. Granted it's been a few years since I was last here. Prices have jumped up substantially. After seeing the prices, my kids actually said, are we sure we want to eat here? We were already there and seated, so we stayed. Service was ok. They didn't seem to be happy to be there, but the service they provided was decent. I had the shrimp tempura udon. My boys had the spicy tuna don. The udon noodles were the thinnest udon noodles I have ever had. Slightly overcooked. The broth was very diluted. Kids made the remark that my soup looked like water. Didn't taste like water. Just a watered-down broth. Boys were content with their dons. I took a piece to try the spicy tuna. It wasn't great. Spiciness wasn't notable at first. The fish was soft and wasn't fishy. It was ok.Highly doubtful that I will be back.

Not the cheapest place in town. Service was fast and very good. Sushi was ok. Little too much rice on the sushi. Made the nigiri seem like a big rice ball with a piece of fish or tamago on top. Easy to get filled up on the rice. I guess they need to fill the stomachs of the customers to match the price. We ran up a bill of $30 per person for 3 of us... I guess it is the going rate for so so sushi. Probably have to spend $75 to $100 to get something decent now days. Inflation is not good for "middle tier" restaurants. Either you go to supermarket take-out for cheap stuff, or splurge and get something good. I am going to save for the better stuff, rather than pay $30 for just so so.... Inflation just sucks...
