We used to practice tennis here growing up and it was very windy! It helped to get used to playing in the wind during tournaments and the court usually dried quickly after a rain. There was street parking and 2 courts with a backboard. Good memories were made here with my dad.

Parking is across the street in front the houses because there is to parking in front of park. This is our first visit to to this park with our dog Sam. In front of park, there is playground and basket ball courts. You had to cross the bridge to the grassy area. Below the bridge, there is a stream with where about 6 ducks hang out to drink water. I bet when it is rainy there is lots of water. It is not so good idea to skateboard or do biking riding tricks.Green grass area right next to the mountain. There is another entrance on left which only pedestrians can walk from residential area.

I feel bad about not giving it 5 stars but the park is improving so the rate will likely change over time. This park is big, there is a full baseball/sports open field at the rear of the park and two tennis courts, a full basketball court and playground at the front of the park facing Kuli'ou'ou Road. It's a big park, street parking is the only parking available so be aware of that before you plan a big event or sports practice in the area. The jungle gym is new, brand new as the date of writing this. They had an older jungle gym they had for over 17 years that was recently removed and a newer jungle gym took its place. I am conflicted about this newer jungle gym however, as there are some big liabilities that will go along with any injuries a child sustains on this jungle gym. It's cool, don't get me wrong- much more active and interactive than the old jungle gym but the "walking bridge" is free standing steps with a bar for them to hold on to which, if the child isn't paying proper attention, is too young, or slips and falls, can result in injury. I know, the ground is padded underneath so I don't think the injury would be THAT bad, but I know some parents would want to know this as it's something every parent is mindful of. On the positive, the basketball and tennis courts got an upgrade when they upgraded the jungle gym and the ground covering is brand new, and a pretty blue cover, no more cracking and the balls rebound much easier with this new ground covering. This park is right next to a busy street. I know that the speed limit is 25 MPH but people race up Kuli'ou'ou like it's a freeway sometimes so you really need to watch your kids here. Also, where the volleyball /tether ball area used to be off to the right of the park next to the Board of Water Supply area, there is a lot of rocks and a gate that isn't secured very well that leads to the storm drains. Just be aware. It's not somewhere kids could jet off to in a second but it's somewhere a kid could end up if the parent is distracted or otherwise occupied. All together it's a good family park, my kids love playing here.

Pros:+ Pet friendly: Lots of dog owners get together and have play dates.+ Family Friendly+ Baseball/ Soccer field, Basketball and Tennis Courts, and a playground.+ Bathrooms+ Water FountainsCons:- Very Limited Street Parking- This park can get packed fast.- Some graffiti** Reminders: There is little to no parking. With that being said, Majority of the nearby residents walk to the park.. It's just plain rude to take all the parking especially when it interferes with other residents. If you bring your pet to the park, please clean up after your pet.I mean yes these seem common sense wherever you go, but it appears some people who come here have forgotten. Let's all be good neighbors and treat those who come here as such.Although this park has a lot to offer, it's just personally NOT one of my favorites especially with its recent yet consistent high volume/popularity.

Cute little park. Tucked back in a neighborhood out of the busy streets. Nice little outing for my 3 year old who is restless and crazy lol. It is small but if you are looking to help get a little energy out of your kids on vacation then definitely go to this park. There is a beautiful view and you can walk around and run in the little field nearby.

Our little one enjoyed this park. It has a newer playground, two tennis courts, full basketball court, baseball field/open grassy field, restroom, water fountain, shaded picnic table and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. No parking lot for this park, street parking only.
