Kukui Meat

Bought this from Tamura's. Hoped it was gonna be spicy, but disappointed it's not even close to a spicy. Thin strips. Not much flavor. Good packaging. Pricy. Won't buy again.

Not only do they supply Chum Churum here on the island, (Best. Soju. EVER.) they have amazing beef chips! So light and airy, but soooooo addicting. You can't stop at one! I saw them popping up at some foodland locations and I got so excited! They even make dog friendly jerky so my pups can enjoy them as well. So happy we have a good local rep to import the soju on island. Without them, Chum Churum wouldn't be available anywhere here.

The price is reasonable and the meat is fresh! They handle various kinds of meat. I really recommend Korean style ribs(Kalbi). That's awesome.

Kukui Meat supplies a wide variety of meats, catering particularly to Korean flavors. Being Korean, our family has been purchasing pig feet here for as long as we can remember (it's hard to find the right kind for our Korean dishes anywhere else). My mom's church was having a dinner potluck and my mom agreed to cook pigs feet (jokbal) for the get together. She called Kukui Meat a day early and placed her order and they agreed to have it ready in the morning the next day. She went in to pick up her order in the morning and the two men there claimed no one had received an order. She explained that the man who took her order over the phone asked for her phone number and said it would be ready in the morning. Both denied ever having received any information. While my mom was discussing the situation, one of them rudely and abruptly told her to move her car, which makes no sense since she is a customer of the establishment. She got upset so she left without her order. A little while later, she received a phone call from Kukui Meat saying that they would deliver her order and she was so done with them she declined. But...how did they get her number when they claimed no one took down her information the night before?Yes, they might be the only place that sells pigs feet, which is a dish we eat every so often. However, it doesn't matter if they're the only supplier on the island because we are never going to give them our business ever again. I cannot believe how utterly rude and disrespectful they were. I understand that businesses can make mistakes but all it takes is an apology for the inconvenience and then we can all move on. You can't just deny it and then rudely tell the customer to move their car. NEVER RETURNING. And if anyone asks where they can purchase their supply of pig feet, we're definitely NOT recommending. Ugh what a terrible way to start the morning.

Small shop on Kalihi near Libby's Manapua, selling some of the best Korean marinated meats you can get. I ordered a day ahead, got marinated kalbi, pork, and chicken for my BBQ festival at home and all were very happy. Very reasonable prices and awesome flavor!

I just wanted to say that I'm so glad my brother told me about this place. I was calling around for a particular kalbi and they were the only ones that kindly serviced me, eventho I was not wholesale. People, if you are looking for some good meat go to Kukui Meat they got it all, even marinated ones too. They were reasonable for the quality you get. Customer service was awesome!! I will definitely come back when we have another house parties. Thank you for your awesome service.

I bought some Ox tails and it was the best. It cooked pretty quickly and it was soft and tender in one hour. The teriyaki meat was cut evenly and the meat was soft and tender. Price was I little higher, well worth the extra money. Plus I didn't have to order a large amount like other places.
