Didn't know that you can have celebration of Life at Kualoa ranch . Today i attended my childhood friend service @ Kualoa Ranch actually it's a little down the road from the actual Ranch. Although it's still owned by Kualoa .It's at their Moli'i Garden it's actual very nice and relaxing what a better place to have a celebration of Life . They have a pavilion where the catered food and immediate family were . Then down by the ocean you have a big tent where the service was held .Very nice and simple set up that Kualoa Ranch has . The only bad thing I can see was the feral chicken jumping on the buffett line to help themselves for lunch lol ! Support local

In ancient times, the 4,000-acre land known now as Kualoa Ranch was one of the most sacred places on Oahu. These days, it's a working cattle ranch & private nature reserve offering tours ranging from educational to adventurous. Our group went for one of the more chill offerings (no zip lining or UTV ride this time 'round) -- a 90-minute Movie Sites & Ranch Tour ($54.95 per person) with a couple time slots available every hour. Book in advance, these tours are pop-u-larrr. We hopped on a vintage school bus, sans windows for maximum breeze-in-the-face moments, & toured the property, stopping at several movie locations. "Jurassic Park" is the big blockbuster that used the ranch's "backlot" but I most enjoyed walking amongst "Kong Skull Island's" boneyard. We're fans of "Hart to Hart" so it was extra special to be in the place where they sometimes filmed. Before leaving, our guide snapped a picture to commemorate our time at Kualoa Ranch aka Jurassic Village; she angled a toy dinosaur in our camera lens to make it appear as if we were being attacked! Love how it turned out!

We have been to Oahu many times but this was our first time finally visiting the ranch and we wish that we would have visited sooner on past trips!First off, I would like to recognize their amazing customer service. We had gotten into a car accident on our way to our scheduled tour in the morning and the staff was so understanding and flexible to go out of their way to honor our reservation and move us to the following day. Our family was grateful for their empathy and compassion to our situation and want to extend a big mahalo for that!Once we finally got a chance to make it to the ranch safely, it was an amazing experience. Parking was a bit tough since we came in the middle of the day around 12:30pm, however, we were able to find a spot. Yes, this place is filled with tourists, but the property is so large that it never felt too crowded. In addition, they have their system down to a tee where they were very organized on how they get everyone situated for the many tours they offer. We opted for the movie sites tour. Please note that this place runs a tight ship so the time they give you on your ticket after you check in is precise. Do NOT try to line up early because their system is very efficient for loading and offloading passengers on their tours.Their staff is very friendly and helpful. Our tour guide was Eli and he did an amazing job keeping us entertained and safe. His commentary was a good mix of educational facts, comedy, and making the tour attendees feel at ease. The views and sites we saw on this tour were breathtaking! The tour was a little over 90 minutes with plenty of opportunities for photo ops. My family and I left the tour with a greater appreciation for the land, the people, and the culture. We especially appreciate the efforts put forth to conserve the land for future sustainability. After our tour, we visited their gift shop and farmers market and picked up a few goodies to bring back homeOverall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back to do a few of their other tours. Definitely a great place to visit! Be sure to tip your guides, they are all amazing!

After only checking out Kualoa Ranch's gift shop and front entrance multiple times, we finally had a chance to really visit Kualoa and have their Best of Kualoa tour which consists of the bus tour around the valley, Kualoa Grown visiting their crops, and an off road excursion round other parts of the the ranch. I would gladly say that the views of the valley is so much more grand that what we have seen when we just stopped by the front entrance. The bus tour goes around the ranch and also explains all the Hollywood associations with the ranch, as well as the WWII history around the property. We stopped by interesting spots around and I would say that the Jurassic Park props backdropped by the tall valley is the best. We then have a quick buffet lunch which I may say, serve a very tasty chicken and pork ribs. We then proceeded to go to their farm area where they grow a multitude of crops and then off to a off road ride to the top of the property with absolute stunning views of all of Kualoa Ranch, with an absolute stunning view of Kaneohe Bay, wow! There is more activities here at Kualoa Ranch that we haven't even tried, such as ATV and even horseback riding. So it is safe to say that we are definitely going back when visiting Oahu.

Enjoyed a lovely day at Kualoa ranch, complete with a boat ride, bus ride, movie tour, and buffet lunch, with 16 others in our youth group. Nice reunion with college students back home for the holidays, and youth getting ready to head to Korea on a scholarship. Enjoyed the company of one of our youth's collegiate friend, who is visiting from Korea (and transferring from Grinell to UNC next semester). The parking lot was in overflow mode with the many visitors flocking to the many tours offered here. It's best to arrive early for your tour as it may take a few minutes to walk up the slight hills and stairs to check in.We camped out on a picnic table awaiting arrivals, went to the store and service deli for hot and cold foods and beverages. Took pictures with the dinosaur and animals placed around the park-like area, watched and listened while the many tours (i.e., 9:30 boat tour - you may line up now!) queued up in various sections of the large driveway. Horseback, ATV, Bike, and a host of other activities are available. Some include swimming, others include lunch. We were treated to the Secret Island Boat Tour and it was a gorgeous day! What also impressed me was the services provided to an elderly visitor-each stop had a wheelchair awaiting. For the walks on the sand, there was an appropriately kitted wheelchair (I'll attach a picture. Staff are in constant contact via their headsets and walkie talkies to advise of arrival times.)The 5-7 minute bus ride to the first boat was followed by a short walk on the sand to the double decker boat. Tevan was our guide and we were treated to history, agriculture, aquaculture, movie lore, fantastic photo ops, and lots of local humor. Yes, we even spotted several turtles! TIP: Remember your sunscreen, sunglasses and maybe a hat, it can get hot out there! And rubber slippers/flip flops are recommended, as boarding may get your tennis shoes wet and sandy. You will climb up a stair like ladder so hold on to the railings!Buffet lunch was actually pretty good - green salad, mac salad, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, several dressing options, white rice, teriyaki chicken, bbq ribs, corn n beans, chili, cookies, and a variety of juices (pog- a popular passion-orange-guava mix-; calamansi, lemonade, and apple), and there's a water station to refill your bottles/flasks. Restroom lines go quickly and there is staff constantly trying to keep it clean with the hundreds of people coming through. (Am not kidding!). Never had to wait long and never ran out of seat covers nor paper goods. Even their port-a-potty facilities are air conditioned, I heard! There are strategically placed anti-bacterial gel stations at entrances to food areas. It's good to bring wet wipes, though;). We had lots of time to fellowship and chat during lunch and there is time to go for seconds and thirds! There's ample outdoor table seating, but beware, outdoors means there are some airborne guests like flies, some walking birds, and a variety of red and black ants on the picnic tables. Amazingly, while they are there, (none bit me), just shoo them away and all will be well! (It would probably be nice to have those little food fans around the tables someday.)The movie tour bus ride covers vast terrain, and you even get to visit a movie prop museum - Battery Cooper - with great photo ops while walking through- but watch out for the live dinosaurs! Also on the bus ride- You'll spot live animals, and other guests on their ATVs, bikes and open air Jurassic Jeeps. Love how the staff are intimately familiar with every inch of the road up and around the Kualoa acreage. It can get bumpy, but the staff are great drivers and they warn you ahead of time if you should hold on;).Pause frequently to appreciate the panoramic, stunningly beautiful, views! No words, appreciate the gift of this beauty. Also love the teaching moments - love your neighbor/community, love and respect yourself, and share the same love and respect for the 'aina, the land. Take care of it, and it will take care of you. They take care of the fish, the pond, the livestock, and more, and it feeds the community, including those in need. The market sells out of their fresh produce and local treats - but our group did grab some frozen shrimp, sweet land farms goat cheese, apple bananas, pop culture ice pops, fresh greens, ulu chips, and big island coffee. I was soooo tempted to get their forage beef bone broth and meats!!!!Gosh, we forgot to look at our group photos! They take them before embarking on your adventures! This visit was all the more memorable because of our youth group and fellowship, but this is not my first visit. Local kama'aina love visiting Kualoa Ranch, and you will, too!

Amazing and DEFINITELY worth it. We did the Jurassic Movie Tour and our tour guide Precious was amazing, delightful, funny, professional and full of knowledge not just about the movies but about the land. Stopped at many locations and EVERYONE had enough time for pictures and sight seeing and stayed on track. Precious took a few amazing photos for my family and I. The view was beautiful! The land was breathtaking. I feel any of the tour would be worth it just to see the beauty of nature that spread through the land. Would recommend getting there at least 1 hour earlier than scheduled tour time. Parking was full when we went and very tight. They have a gift shop and food court to keep you busy while waiting. We used Apple Maps, it stopped routing when we got close, pulled over and refreshed the app. Worked and got us there just in time. Overall AMAZING experience! Would do this again every time I am in Hawaii. Plus side, there is a beach close by.

After five beautiful and unforgettable days in Oahu, I am reminded of the countless blessings we have in our lives. Our second day was spent at Kualoa Ranch, a breathtaking destination that truly captures the spirit of the island. Nestled between the lush green mountains and the sparkling ocean, Kualoa Ranch offers stunning landscapes that have served as the backdrop for numerous films and TV shows, including "Jurassic Park" and "Lost."Visiting Kualoa Ranch is highly recommended for anyone in Oahu. The range of activities available--from guided tours to ATV rides--ensures that there's something for everyone. We explored the rich history of the land, learned about its cultural significance, and took in the awe-inspiring views.

We did the 3 hour, private ATV tour at 8am and we had an amazing experience! Everything about our experience was so fun. The views were incredible!! Nothing like it them at all. We also had such a great time because of our tour guide Kai. He was so funny and kind, not to mention knowledgeable about the land. If you get him as a guide you are lucky! He did extra to make our time so special. I highly recommend this tour!!
