My wife and I saw the word donuts and that caught our attention. When you first walk in you kinda question if you're at the right place because theres a lot of writings of signatures on the walls like someone tagged the place up but as you keep going you'll realize you're at the right place. It not your traditional donut, it's deep fried in a Panko like material. My favorite one is the volcano with the missed berry filling. Nice and crunchy on the outside, nice and soft in the inside. My wife and I went back a couple times. The owners are really sweet and happy. They're really good and giving their opinion and they weren't wrong about the best ones. Me and my wife went back a couple times.

About a 1-1.5: Ugh, I really hate to do this to you, Kpop Donuts, but the donuts were just not enjoyable.I had a twister donut and one that was filled with a strawberry 'jam', covered in a cinnamon/sugar mixture - unfortunately, even though I came early in the morning, the donuts seemed to not have been fresh nor even prepared that morning? They were chewy and kind of stale, and I was surprised that they weren't even warm. The cinnamon/sugar mixture was a bit too much, and the 'jam' filling was way too sickly sweet and artificial-tasting.Service was very friendly and kind, and there are some seating inside. No dice, Kpop Donuts...+not-so-fresh donuts+artificial fillings

Stopped by Kpop Donut in Waikiki early in the morning and was eager to try their offerings. I ordered the twisters and the strawberry filled mochi donuts, but unfortunately both fell short of expectations. The twisters caught my eye with their crunchy and soft appearance, but they turned out to be overly chewy and tasted stale, surprisingly so considering the shop had just opened. The strawberry mochi donut was overstuffed with an excessively sweet artificial tasting filling. I even had to squeeze most of it out just to finish the donut. On top of the lackluster quality, I found the prices a bit steep for what you get, which added to the disappointment. That said, the staff were incredibly friendly, which left a positive impression. I'd consider returning to give their Korean hotdogs a try as they seem like a better bet.

(+) Unique decor, you'll know if you found the right place by seeing the walls. I always forget to bring a marker or sharpie to tag something myself. Fun to look for the interesting quotes or sketches.(+) Mochi donuts were alright, filling was almost too much but satisfied the craving for a sweet snack.(+) Local business, walking distance from Hilton Hawaiian Village.(-) They were out of twisters and I was in a bit of a rush, long line behind me, so I just went with what was ready.(-) Menu a bit confusing, not everything seemed like it was laid out and visible like a traditional donut shop. Limited options but I know, I should've read more Yelp reviews ahead of time but I was on vacation.

I came here hoping to grab a quick breakfast for my toddler. Upon arrival, I was honestly a bit confused. This was obviously the same reaction as other patrons because a number of them entered and immediately left... First things first, K-pop Donut Corp isn't your typical Americanized donut shop offering apple fritters, french crullers, and old fashioned... this establishment is serving mochi filled donut. These donuts differ from our regular donuts due to its bouncy, chewy texture. Bonus points because this is a vegan persons paradise- no taste/flavoring compromised one bit.I decided to go with a volcano donut with French cream filling. Don't expect anything cute when it comes to packaging- your purchase will be placed into small paper bags. Taste test:The name of this donut most definitely suits it well. The volcano donut immediately exploded as I bit down on the fluffy ball. Delicious but a lot messier than I anticipated. I liked the crisp outer layer and enjoyed the chewy texture provided on the inside. This texture reminds me very much of Vietnamese banh cam [deep fried sesame balls] The dough itself isn't overwhelmingly sweet but the filling gives you that extra sweetness for those who have major sweet tooth. 4/5 stars. Don't knock this place until you try it. Sure, the offerings might be a lot different compared to what you were initially expecting and the textures may be something you need get used to with time, but everything as a whole is quite delicious. Two added thumbs up because Kpop doesn't skimp on the filling**As a forewarning, there didn't seem to be any parking available. With my family staying @ Ilikai, traveling to Kpop Donuts was just a hop, skip, and a jump away . Make sure to have comfortable walking shoes on.**

Came in because we were curious but we ended up buying because the staff was super friendly and explained what they had. We got a twister with half cinnamon and half powdered sugar and a red bean filled donut. They were a little bit pricey but different and good. There was a lot of seating for a donut shop but it's nice if you're coming in with friends or need a place to sit and relax

I first learned about Kpop Donuts while browsing through my delivery apps. I would have ordered delivery by now except that, to be honest, the available combo options looked too costly for the quantities listed.Today being Sunday, I decided to visit the shop for myself. I should have pinned the address down before heading out. All I remembered was that it was near the Hilton Hawaiian Village, so I took the scenic route in trying to locate them. I finally found them on Ala Moana Blvd. before you would make the right turn into Kalia Rd.As I entered around 9 am, I noticed an array of empty seating areas. I descended down to the kitchen and ordering window. I saw a man and woman working behind the counter. The gentleman approached and waited while I looked over the plain-looking pastries visible through the clear partition. I asked about ingredients, whether they were made from rice or wheat. He responded that they were made from various ingredients, but that the spherical pastries were rice-based.I looked at the board and searched for a combo which would allow me to sample a few items, but wasn't too costly. I decided on the K Pop Sampler at $19.99 (which I didn't recall seeing on any of the delivery apps):1 Twister1 O Donut2 VolcanoHe then asked me how I wanted them flavored. For the Twister, I opted for cinnamon instead of powdered sugar. For the rest, I asked for French Cream, Pineapple, and other fruit flavors as fillings.I sort of imagined the combo would come in a box, which would have been convenient for taking a photo. Instead, the Twister was placed in a brown paper bag, while the rest were placed together in another bag.In retrospect, I would suggest to anyone ordering there for the first time to sit down at one of the tables there and enjoy the freshly prepared desserts. In my case, this was my first stop, after which I did some grocery shopping. By the time I got home, the two paper bags were visibly streaked with oil.The O Donut and Volcano Donuts had their fillings mixed with each other, and I had to remove them from the now oil soaked bag, so it would have been awkward and messy taking a photo at this point.I offered one of the Volcanos to my wife, and she took a bite and said it was really good, but wasn't able to finish it. The O Donut had the French Cream filling. I liked it. The Volcanos had a nice, crunchy texture to them. They had fruit filling because I was trying different flavors. If I order again, I would go with the French Cream for them as well. The Twister was pretty good. I liked the cinnamon flavor.Would I order from them again? Yes, but now that I've tried a few different things, next time I would focus on just one type of donut at a time, with one type of filling.https://www.facebook.com/raymondkaya808/

This is exactly what Korean style donuts are like. Stop here and try them. If you like donuts, branch out. Limited menu, but what they serve is spot on. The twister is one of the best typical crunch style donuts I've ever had.

We were waiting to dine in for breakfast at Goofy and saw this donut shop right downstairs. There's graffiti everywhere and it's intentional I'm assuming. A cool little underground shop. I went in just to browse not thinking that I could eat anything. But I start reading the signs and confirm with the owners that all their donuts are vegan!!! My boyfriend and I both decide on the mochi donuts. They are able to fill the inside of the donut with any of their homemade fillings. The donuts are delicious! But just a heads up they are pretty pricey! The mochi donuts were the smallest ones available and were about $5 each!! But it was so good that I might go back when I want to treat myself! Friendly service and a great place to stop by when in Waikiki!

Walking to the main strip in Honolulu means constantly getting distracted by random places along the way. Kpop Donuts just happens to be one of those places. We caught them just before closing (they close at 12 pm) and luckily, they still had donuts left. They have vegan options, so obviously I had to go! The donuts are filled with different flavors and I got strawberry jelly, mango, and pineapple. The donuts are kept on a warmer, so it didn't taste like they've been left there all day. My favorite had to be the pineapple! The interior is interesting because the walls are basically big canvases that people draw on with markers. It's charming in its own right. The owners are big sweethearts and they treated us with such warmth and kindness. The way the male worker took care of us made me feel like I had a Korean uncle, haha! They even let us dawdle around to take pictures and try our donuts, despite them closing at noon. This was a fun find and I'm glad we stopped by to have a quick snack!
