Kozo sushi is the O.G. I don't need no fancy sushi! I can be happy and satisfied with Kozo's spicy ahi, temakis, and their crispy chicken katsu.Kozo's is part of the reason I ever go to Pearl City. Best to make a phone order or else you can be waiting a while for your food. The service is good enough, place kind of old, but ehh no matter cuz the food is good!

I really thought I left a review oh well, here goes. I like that they have non-seafood items because my grandson has seafood allergies.I ordered 2 trays with seafood and 2 without. The kids liked the chicken katsu, Teri chicken and BLT sushi.The ordering process was a little harder than I thought it needed to be. I started by saying I wanted to order two trays, with x,y, and z. And before I could start with the 2nd set I was told I couldn't do that, I need to order standard off the menu trays. I was flabbergasted. My gkids grad party was in a few days and I was so thrown off I said ok and left.I went out the next morning, found some trays then called in my order. I was calmer, able to think clearer and so I asked the person in the phone why can't I pay for or buy the trays and he said I could for $3.50. I happily placed my order.I'm not sure why we had such a communication problem with the first guy but I was so set on getting my sushi from there that I'm just happy it worked out.

Nice takeout spot. I usually order online and my food is ready within 20 mins. My go to is usually the spicy ahi natto don, but today I got the ahi lover & natto nigiri. Great pairing. Portions are average but you get what you pay for. Prices are cheaper than most sushi places. I haven't ever eaten inside but there are a few seats if you wish to enjoy your food right away. This was my first time ever having Kozo Sushi and it did not disappoint! I ordered half of the dragon maki and half of the crunchy spicy ahi maki. Both had a generous amount of filling and spicy ahi on top! I liked how the crunchy spicy ahi maki had a mix of tempura flakes and potato chips. The two half orders of those rolls filled me up without feeling overstuffed. Their online ordering through the toast app was nice and convenient too! I was able to get my food right away when I picked it up. I wouldn't mind coming here again for a sushi fix!

This place is great. I'm a frequent buyer for years, and I have a few favorites; dragon don, chirashi, spicy ahi deluxe. The portion is not huge but for the price I think it's appreciate. When I order a takeout, I usually like to make a phone order.But at this place, they rarely answer phone calls so mostly I order online. It's pretty convenient. I would recommend this place for a quick meal

I love Kozo Sushi!! This business was first located near Ben Franklin in Pearl City. I used to go there when I was younger. Here is what we always order: 1) Spicy ahi hand-roll 2) Tuna Mayo hand-rollI recently tried a spicy ahi crunchy bowl and wow!!! You have to try it.

Haven't been here in awhile and wow they added some new menu items. They also have online ordering through Toast Take Out app that makes it fast and convenient. They've been around for awhile and I'm glad they are still here. (I used to work at the Pearl Ridge location back in the day a long time ago) Support Local!

I expect the fish to be raw, but not the d&*m chicken.At first I was thrilled, maybe it was the new containers, but it looked like they increased the portion sizes for the bentos, but I was in for a surprise with the chicken katsu bento when it was too chewy to even bite through. Found that the chicken wasn't cooked much past the point of being raw. Never expected the best quality food any of the times we ate here, but this is just pitiful. This was the last straw. Absolutely would not recommend this to anyone.
