I wanted to eat all of the pastries here! I bought about $50 worth! I suggest to start your day here. Decided to get up early and lined up around 7:30am. There was already a line out the door! I don't blame them. Everything is baked fresh. All the staff were friendly and seemed to like what they do. Place was clean.

Famous Hawaiian coffee shop? I guess I'll stop by just to say I'd been there. The lines are long as everyone else has stated and they also sell some delicious pastries, which I did not get any because I'm here for just the coffee.I ended up getting their Kona Nitro ($7.50) and added whole milk to it. It's for sure a step up from the local Starbucks shop. I'd put it on the same level as the Starbucks Reserve shops, but would have to try other coffees to really get a better sense. First impression was a good impression.

3/5 StarsI've always been curious about this place because every time I visit Hawaii, I see long lines at all their locations. So, on the morning of 2/25/25, I finally decided to wake up early and check it out. I arrived around 7:05 AM and waited in line for about 25-30 minutes. At the entrance, there was a sign saying they only had drip coffee. I overheard some people in line mentioning that the espresso machine was broken. In the end, I ordered the black sesame and pineapple coconut croissant along with a drip coffee. To be honest, I'd rate the bakery a 4/5--it's good but not mind-blowing. The coffee and the cashier that day , are solid 1/5. I initially thought I was just unlucky that day because of the broken machine, but when I went back on the third day to buy coffee beans with a friend, I found out only drip coffee is available and they never serve espresso before 11AM. I really wish they would put up a clear sign at the entrance to let people know.Overall, I might come back, but if the line is long, I wouldn't say it's worth the wait. The bakery is good, but not amazing enough to justify standing in a long line.

Wonderful coffee shop in Central Waikiki. Expect about a 30 minute wait during peak times. They back their pasties fresh throughout the day. The coffee is not that bad also. Favorites include the kouign amann and the croissants which also come in seasonal flavor. The black sesame kouign amann and the ham and cheese croissants. Service is great. Casual. Indoor bar and outdoor seating. Please come and visit and create your own experience.

Forgive YELP for I have sinned. It's been nearly a decade (ok, 7 years) since my last review and a few visits in between. Here is my story:Yelper Elite Alex T from SMF is visiting. While I didn't get a chance to visit with him we got to have some coffee and sweets. Get it? Well...I get there 15 minutes ahead of our meet time to be greeted with a line of humans which would take another 1 hour for me to get to finish line. A Kona Coffee Purveyor CSR comes out to the line (the end of the line actually, where I was standing) and says "IF YOU PURCHASE A BAG OF COFFEE BEANS, YOU CAN GO TO THE RETAIL LINE, BUY YOUR COFFEE BEANS AND PLACE THE ORDER FOR YOUR CONSUMING ITEMS...." OK, time is $$ and so I go to the retail line and purchase a bag of "Kona Coffee Expresso Beans" (hint= while sold in small portions the bottom line or top line is $55 per pound...) But we place our drink and pastry order and got seated in no time flat (point of interest= we are finishing our snack and the lady behind me in the original wait line was reaching her order taker... after 50 minites in line) GET THE PICTURE?????So my SMF friend, his mom and I had a leisure cup of coffee and croissant and kouign amann chatting... snacking... A must if you got there is the Kouign Amann and Croissant. Get the original first, by pass the flavored and filled ones... AT LEAST on your first visit so you can experience the wonderful texture and taste... Note- park at the IMP lot; Kona Coffee validates and you'll end up paying $2/hr if you stay long than an hour up to 4 hours. And if you really wanted only the pastry and maybe no line... hunt for B Patisserie . James Beard award winning Kouign Amann and Croissants are pastires not to be passed on

I got an iced latte with vanilla and almond milk. I asked for the Kona coffee blend and I'm so glad I did! It was so smooth and all the right notes. This was one of my favorite stops in Waikiki. You'll definitely have to wait in the line because this place is so popular, but it's worth it. The line moves quickly and the baristas are on their "A" game!I took pictures of the bakery items because they were beautifully displayed and everything looked amazing!! I didn't get any both times I went, but that just means I have to go back and try them. Right? There's tables inside and an outside patio area to enjoy your pastries and coffee. As busy as this place gets, it's very clean and very inviting.I'd recommend waking up as early as you can and start your day here. You won't regret it!

This place was good but not worth the wait. If the wait is longer than 20 minutes, I would suggest you go elsewhere. I came at 3pm in the afternoon so there was no wait. They did run out of all their espresso-based drinks so I ended up getting the cold brew. The cold brew was solid: strong and good. However, it was nothing more than I would expect from a legit coffee roaster. So, it met my expectations but it didn't live up to its hype which to me was exceptional coffee. So recommend I going but don't go with very very high expectations. I got the Maui Pineapple coconut almond croissant. I regret getting that one because I am not a fan of coconut actually. But I felt obligated to get it since it was a local flavor. lol. I would have been much happier with a plain butter croissant. There is inside seating and outdoor seating. The interior is modern. It's located in the International Market Place.

Good coffee in downtown Waikiki. But be prepared to wait for a while. The lines are up to 15 people deep sometimes, as they were two out of the three times we went. There's limited seating inside the café and more seating outside in the foyer area. We usually found seating outside in the mall foyer area. We went every day we were in Waikiki...for coffee and pastries, but we were frankly frustrated because every single one of those days we were told they were not serving any espresso drinks because they said the espresso machines were down. Given that espresso drinks are their signature drinks, and this is their flagship store, in a centrally placed mall in the middle of downtown Waikiki... it was puzzling why they didn't bring in back up espresso machines for so many days. It frankly made us wonder how long the signs had been up and whether it was a business decision because espresso drinks have to be hand made and slow down the line, whereas brew can be made in advance. And served quickly.Their croissants were very good, and I enjoyed their black sesame coconut pudding. But don't recommend their scones; nice texture with lovely crunch, but disappointingly: not very flavorful. It didn't taste like they used real butter because of the aftertaste that followed. I would stick with their sandwiches and their croissant products. We also tasted and purchased a couple of bags of Kona coffee beans while there. It was important for us to get a good sense of the different ways Kona beans can be prepared because we were in Hawaii. Ultimately we really liked the espresso roast, and we're told that we could use that for every kind of coffee not just espresso. A.k.a. French press, pour over, etc. The 8 ounce bags of beans were $55 if they were 100% Hawai'ian grown Kona beans. The blends were about half that price, see photo. We paid $6.75 for 8 ounces of the cold brew. And on average expect to pay $6 to $8 per pastry, and over $12 for the sandwiches. They do come out hot and tasty, though. The store has a clean contemporary vibe to it. And have some great merchandise branded Yeti cups, including some that would be the size for cortados or cappuccinos or espressos, etc.

Girls outing in Waikiki! Parking was so easy at the Intl Market Place, take the parking ticket they validate! Don't be intimidated by the line it will move and Trust me it's worth it!!! We came specifically for the amazing Kouign Amann found here. Unfortunately I couldn't get a honey latte since their steaming machine was down so I enjoyed a brewed kona coffee. Efficient friendly service and their pastries are amazing. They said the most popular one is the sesame Kouign amann and they were spot on! I also got the avocado toast tartine which was just okay.....it was a perfect morning in Waikiki, delicious goodies, plentiful parking, kona coffee and girl time! Well be back!

Don't be discouraged by the long line. The iced latte, Kona coffee, and chocolate banana croissant we ordered were worth the wait.
