Kōkua General Store

So thankful for Kōkua General Store! I continuously work on being as sustainable as I can and so when the store I usually went to for shower product refills discontinued that service, I was so happy that another store with refills service was on the island. I refilled my own bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and all-purpose cleaner. The total cost was less than what I paid at the previous store and I enjoy the scents of the products available at Kōkua General Store. Mahalo nui loa and I look forward to coming back regularly for refills and to check out the rest of the store!

I stumbled in here while wandering around. The store sells sustainable goods and does refills of household products like shampoo, detergent, cleaning products, lotion, etc. They have every kind of reusable straw, reusable version of paper goods, and lots of eco friendly dental products. Along with household goods, they have a section of vintage clothes. These are curated collections so you know that you won't have to search through junk to find something good. Their aloha shirt selection is especially impressive, and they had some really cute aloha shirts from the 50s and 60s. I believe kokua general store is owned by Jack Johnson (a musician) and dedicated to sustainability. We have some metal cups similar to the ones sold here that we got from his concert, and we love them! Highly recommend for practical, sustainable dishware if glass isn't an option because of its breakability.
