Love this smoked ahi dip. Usually buy it at Foodland or Tamura's. Great to bring to friends on the mainland. However, as I was finished a container today, I noticed it was packaged in a #5 plastic which unfortunately is not recycled in Hawaii. Since I'm trying hard to keep plastics out of our beautiful ocean, one container at a time, not sure if I can continue buying this product until it comes in a recyclable container. I hope KokoHead foods believes in protecting our aina.

If you are craving a smoked ahi dip and do not want to go through the laborious job of smoking a fish and then preparing a dip from its remains, OR if you do not have the inside scoops of your local fisherman slinging smoked fish dips then KoKohead Foods' smoked ahi dip will do. You can find these at your local foodland stores. No trip to the ocean and smokehouse necessary. If you don't know how smoked dips taste then it is truly a shame. If you know, you know. If you really know then you know it's a taste worth knowing.

Best smoked ahi dip in the world!!! I love to eat it with toasted whole wheat naan and mozzarella to make an amazing tuna melt or just with some crackers/carrots/celery! I usually buy at foodland for ~$8 when I'm home, but I moved and wish they could ship this/sell it on the mainland!

Stopped by the local grocery store today to get some "healthy" staples...bananas, vegetable, tofu...and what a nice surprise to bump into a friend I hadn't seen in at least a few months. Thank you Claire for showing me this delicious spread that as you say, "every time you see it you get at least one container!" So of course, I ran over to the seafood section and found, exactly where you said it would be, KHF Smoked Ahi Spread. ...Wanted to make sure in the few moments it took for us to talk talk talk...there wouldn't be a run on this interesting looking delicacy.Took it home and quickly rearranged my plans for home cooked meal. The star was the Smoked Ahi Spread...and what in my home would compliment it? Ohh yes, Tostitos (hah, try not to keep toooo much "stuff" only the essentials). To balance it out, lightly stirfried some fresh spinach and garlic. This spread brought back memories of many years ago when Hoku's @ the then Kahala Hilton Hotel used to serve their smoked ahi spread predinner.Thank you Times for carrying this deliciousness in your chiller in the front of the store. Thank you Claire for sharing this info...ohhh, ok confession time. I actually peaked in your wagon. I will forever be a changed foodie. :) Yummmm !!

Some of the best spreads I've had. On Maui I can only find it at Foodland Farms Lahaina. We ate three tubs of this stuff on celery stock (got to cut calories somewhere) in a weeks time and loved it. Usually $7.99 a tub. Buy one.

Da bomb!! Nuf said, but...The smoked ahi spread is sooo delicious! Excellent on celery. Awesome with a little fig jam on crackers. On westside Maui, can still only purchase at Lahaina Foods.

Used to be the pupu of choice when friends came to visit. Last few times it has tasted more like mayonnaise than smoke ahi. Very disappointing. Sad we had to have to take it off our list.

This used to be the best smoked ahi. The last two times it was mushy and lacked flavor. It has changed for the worse.

The ahi spread is so good I want to bathe in it.Seriously, it's the perfect lunch item. Full of flavor and not high in calories. You can serve it at parties too. It's my favorite food right now.
