Excited for new tenant into the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki. Located on the ground floor and just across Dean and DeLuca, right outside of the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel porte cochere.Excited even more that they participated in this year's new years tradition called Fukubukuro! Historically this is a time for retailers to clean out the old merchandise to make room for the new at highly discounted prices (think 50 percent off). Here @ Koho Chocolate, everything is new so no old treasures here! And what will you find once walking into the store, as well as when opening your Furubukuro "surprise" bag but the most beautiful artisan Chocolates with "island flavors". There is a chocolate guide in every box. I spotted mango, lilikoi, guava and more in dark chocolate and milk chocolate. You will also find the most cheerful and helpful sales staff!Excited to be opening a box at my next gathering!

Happy New Year 2025 Yelpers. On a whim we stopped by KOHO Chocolates while walking around the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Lo and behold, the store still had a few New Year's lucky bags. For two truffle boxes at $38 each, you pay $38 for both!I couldn't resist such a great deal. I picked up a bag and delivered one to a dear friend. One box was kept for my family ; )The store was clean and well stocked and organized. 5/5 starsService was friendly and personable. 5/5 stars. I have consumed KOHO truffles in the past lol. I miss the original KOHO chocolates at Ala Moana Center. I remember Naomi helping me at that location.

Koho Choco...Did you know that you now can find KOHO Chocolates in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center!? I mentioned to the staff that I did enjoy these island treats when they had the pop up at Ala Moana Center and as the holiday ended so did the pop up.Located on the ground floor in building B which is the middle building right next to Miffy and across Dean and Deluca it is a convenient stop as it's close to the parking though if you don't want to park I was told that you're able to phone order your items and right outside is curbside pick up so you're able to stop by and do a quick pick up for convenience.Walking in the shop is stunning and dressed ready for the holidays it's brand new with less than a week opening was on December 6th it's very easy to browse the items with the perfectly shaped chocolates displayed showing off itself is very nice.I was happy to see that they have included a holiday flavor of gingerbread which is nice though it's in a bigger box and I was looking for something smaller though I may be back for it as I know it would be perfect as a gift.Thank you!

KOHO Chocolates moved to Waikiki. I remember them being inside Ala Moana Center because that was where I got to sample the bon bons and ending up buying a couple of boxes. The chocolate for their bon bons are so smooth that it just melts in your mouth. It amazing! So fast forward to now, they are located along Kalakaua Ave by Cheesecake Factory. The shop is large and spacious and a staff greets you when you walk in. There are a few display cases with the bon bons inside. They have shelves at the back of the store with all the products making it easy to pick what you want and then check out. The bon bons are still my go -to item for gifting to family and friend when I visit the mainland. The gift boxes are pretty and for anyone who has received it, they are always wow-ed. The "Explorer Pink 12-piece" is what I recommend because this one has all the tropical fruit flavors and doesn't have the Kona Coffee making it safe for kids to eat. Their chocolates are pricey and if you're on a budget, you can get smaller boxes like the 6-piece or do the 3-piece custom box. Besides bon bons, they have tablets (chocolate bars) and this is great for chocolate lovers. This area doesn't have parking, so I suggest dining or shopping at Royal Hawaiian Center or International Marketplace to get parking validation and then walking over afterward to buy chocolates. Both malls require a $10 purchase to get parking validation. The other option would be to have someone drop you off in front of the store and then have them circle the block and pick you up when you're done.

Pricey place (there was a 50% off but I still spent $30 for a box). But chocolates are cute, really nicely decorated, and have some fun flavors (love the Kona coffee one). Busy spot.

Stumbled across KOHO Chocolates (by Hawaiian Host) while wandering along Kalakaua Ave with my bf. Upon entering the store, we were immediately greeted and were offered samples and assistance in selecting potential bonbons to try. Ended up customizing a sampler box, which is an excellent way to select flavors you're personally interested in trying. Some favorite flavors include: lilikoi caramel, macadamia blossom honey caramel, vanilla, and guava caramel.

Before ending a wonderful week in Honolulu, I decided to browse the beautiful displays of chocolate inside KOHO. My plan initially was not to buy much, if anything at all. However, the service in the store was extremely warm and welcoming, and my girlfriend and I were given a rundown of their different products and samples of chocolate from displays we were curious about. All of their chocolate I've tried has been delicious. The price point is higher than most, but the presentation and quality were worth it in my opinion.

I wanted to find a different and unique food souvenir from my second trip to Oahu. I was super excited to discover KOHO Chocolates online and even more stoked when I visited the store. KOHO is conveniently located on the Waikiki strip and as soon as you enter you are immediately greeted to a luxurious boutique with colorful bon bons. I love buying local when I travel, so I really appreciated that these high-end chocolates pay homage to Hawaiian flavors like Lilikoi Caramel, Hawaiian Sea Salt Caramel, Macadamia Praline, Kona Coffee Caramel, and more flavors. I ended up buying three assorted 12-piece boxes, 2 chocolate tablets, and one 6-piece box of liliko'i. I really like passion fruit, so the liliko'i caramel chocolate was my favorite! The caramel isn't too sweet and I love the brightness that the liliko'i adds. The customer service was super friendly and helpful throughout my purchasing experience.

I'm saddened to write this review for HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I'm born and raised here on oahu and I came into the store excited to buy ALL OF THE LOCAL FLAVORS , the lady at the register told me only 12 fit in a box so I paid for the 13th flavor as a single bonbon.. i didn't catch that there were only 8 local flavors of the 13! I was trusting that she would've told me that.. but she didn't.. she could've also told me I could have the option of buying a box of 3, 6 and etc.. which she didn't nor the man that made and put my box together..so as I'm eating I'm shocked to have eaten a gingerbread bonbon! I hate the feeling of not being treated like a local and feeling like I overpaid because I was treated like a tourist and they were charging me more than need be.. I'm sad that they didn't offer me a store credit or anything to resolve this issue.. overall the bonbons were good, loved that the shells weren't thick and liked how each flavor came through as described.. some weren't to my liking but that's ok because my husband enjoyed those.. all in all I wish I had a more honest experience and treated like a local!
