This is a tiny convenience store right in the middle of the center. It's on the ground floor and if you're walking in from the parking lot it's to the left. When I went in it was already late in the day around 5pm. The only bentos they had left were two spam musubis. They have a ton of snacks and drinks. They even have instant noodles that you can make in the microwave. There was an Asian man working in the store. He was friendly. He smiled at me when I entered the store and kept on smiling the entire time I was in there. This place is so convenient for the people working in this industrial center. There's also an ATM if you need to get cash.

Ono food! It's a bit overpriced but rent has got to be expensive here. It's honestly worth it. Bentos, bowls and the milk tea so good! Good customer service. Everyone is so sweet and accommodating. Love this place.

I brought the better halfs vehicle to get it tinted at Special T Tinting which is located in the Na Lama Kukui Center which was called the Gentry Pacific Design Center aka the Gentry building. Since I didn't eat anything I was starving so Keith the tinter told me to check this place out as he could tell I was hangry. This convenience store is located on the ground floor right in the middle on the left side if you walk in from the front doors off of Nimitz Hwy. I was so happy to see they had hot food. Things like musubis, chili hotdog, and salads among other things. I heard they change it up depending on the day. They have specialty rolls, salads, sandwiches, drinks, and of course tons of snacks. Thanks Ko for satisfying my hangry state.

Spotted a truck drive off and the driver was eating a musubi! I wondered.... where did they get that from? I popped into Na Lama Kukui around 1pm and hidden next to a bunch of furniture/design shops is Ko Shop! An unassuming mini mart, this place has ono bentos and at such a great price! I tried the chili and katsu combo but they also had taco salad, mandoo, tofu, out under a hot lamp. My bento was bomb. Soft fluffy rice, yummy chili, 1/2 a hot dog and three pieces of katsu. I think the sign said that bentos are out at 11am but they still had a good selection when I went later in the afternoon. They have daily specials posted on the door and the menu looks good! I'll definitely be back for more. Also extra points for parking, this place has a huge parking lot and easy to find parking.

Cute small shop in Na Lama Kui. really good food. Spicy Musubi, mini breakfast bentos, lots a snacks, oh and my favorite croissant breakfast sandwich just to name a few. We stop here since it's next door to my daughter's gymnastics at Dole. Pretty decent amount of parking too !

Not wanting to ruin the trend of 5-star reviews for this convenience store, I'll add my 2 cents...I've passed by this little shop numerous times (on the Ground Floor of the Na Lama Kukui Center, formerly the Gentry Pacific Design Center on Nimitz Highway) and never stopped by until today. The spam musubi in the window caught my eye. I was starving, had a few minutes before my appointment, and grabbed a snack. It hit the spot perfectly! What makes this a 5-star review is not the Clearance section of the store, nor the rack of cool Hawaiian themed Greeting Cards. It's not the thoughtful placement of the microwave and ATM, nor the careful inclusion of the hot water dispenser for the Cup o' Noodles that you might buy.5-stars goes to acknowledge that extra special touch when the cashier is so polite and has the foresight to give me a napkin with my tiny $1.75 musubi purchase. That was truly a kind gesture in my opinion and I will continue to patronize The Ko Shop Mini Market for this reason!

Jim & Peggy are amazing people, providing good food made with heart and always, always outstanding customer service. They carry a little of almost everything you need, and some things you didn't think you needed, lol. Worth checking out if you are at Na Lama Kukui building on Nimitz.

Ko Shop Mini Market recently opened in Na Lama Kukui Ke'ena Kuliana Hawaii, the new home of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA), formerly known as Gentry Pacific Design Center on Nimitz Highway, between KMart and City Mill. They're located within the ground floor lobby corridor, towards the back, on the left side. The owner/operator is Peggy and husband Jimmy Ko, related to the family that also owns Lee's Bakery on King Street in Chinatown, famous for their AMAZING custard pies. Ko Shop Mini Market is a typical "Korean" type convenience store, albeit owned by Chinese, offering your typical grab 'n go packaged ready-to-microwave meals, snacks and frozen treats. They also sell fresh pasties from Lee's Bakery, as well as fresh-made hot prepared meals including the likes of SPAM Musubi (of course), assorted breakfast and lunch bento, stew 'n rice bowls, spaghetti and more. The prices are fairly reasonable for a convenience store, and certainly a welcome addition to an area otherwise void of eating options, save for the awesome EAT Cafe a few steps away, KMart, Zippy's, as well as the soon-to-come Liliha Bakery across the street where Sam Choy's BLC was. Yay! Ko Shop Mini Market is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm. Da' SPAM Musubi ($1.50 each) is "5 SPAM Musubi" winnahz. Check 'em out!

If you're in the Nā lama kukui/gentry pacific area or need a quick to-go bento for the road, then family owned KO Market is your place.Although Liliha Bakery and Manapua To Go have recently opened across the street from Nā Lama Kukui, KO Market remains the lifeline to all the bellys that work and pass through the former Gentry Pacific Design Center. Offering an assortment of breakfast bentos ($3.50) and lunch bentos ($4.99-6.99) you cant go wrong with a place that charges that low of a price for freshly made bentos. Eggs, rice, with your choice of sausage, bacon, and portuguese sausage would be an example of their bfast bento. For lunch you usually have the choice of fish or meat jun, spaghetti, roast pork, some type of fish and the list goes on. If your in or around the building for whatever reason, try it out, they never disappoint.
