Ko Olina Weddings

We were very pleased working with Ko Olina weddings for our special day. We didn't want anything too big and wanted to do the smaller "destination wedding" however with me having lived on Oahu in the past I did have some local friends that I wanted to invite. They were able to accommodate the perfect size wedding for us at the right cost. It takes a lot of trust to plan and set up a wedding from afar with people you don't know and when everything is out of your control however they really came through for us. We had some concerns about parking, the musician, location etc but they were able to work with our needs. I remember as we rode over to the location just thinking, we've seen nothing with our own eyes but as we walked up to the site, everything was perfect and in place. We were directed where to go, what to do and it was seamless. When we were trying to enjoy our vacation at the same time and not stress about the wedding too much, they really came through for us. We would highly recommend Ko Olina weddings.

Kristine was great until I attempted to reach her to put down my deposit. We were super excited to get married here and I had called and emailed Kristine with no response. On my third email, she decided to email me back letting me know that she's busy with the people that have already put down their deposits and weddings and that if I wanted to talk, I'd have to wait until next week. (I didn't mention deposit in my email, I just asked for her to give me a call) But, That's all I needed to know to realize that this would not be the spot for me. A simple email back was too much for Kristine to handle. Her plan of action was to ignore me, because she felt she had better things to do than respond to me. So for the lack of customer service skills and rudely toned email, I decided to take my money elsewhere.... this occurred over a month ago and Its not a surprise that I never heard from Kristine again. Very disappointing experience

We came all the way from Australia to marry at Ko Olina and were recommended Ko Olina Productions by our wedding planner. We couldnt have had a better team film our wedding day! TOP recommendation!! We had so much fun with the crew/videographers. Lance and the team are the best!. They were a joy to work with and we connected instantly with them and had fun with them throughout the day. They went above and beyond to capture the essence of our wedding day and turn it into a SPECTACULAR wedding video which we just LOVE watching still, 3 years on. We have watched it so many times!! I even love jumping onto Vimeo and watching it and showing people! Our friends and family who have seen our video all rave about it. Lance and the team especially loved our idea of making a video to the Hawaii 5-O theme and we all had fun creating that!I'd actually give Ko Olina Productions 10 stars!!! I highly recommend them if you want your special day captured in a spectacular way! You wont regret hiring them....PROMISE!!

Hands down... Ko Olina is the best place to have a wedding in Oahu, Hawai'i. Of course, I'm a bit biased as we just had our wedding there in July! Here were the original reasons Ko Olina appealed to us as a destination location: I did research online and the pictures looked beautiful. We flew out to the site and guess what, the sites were just as lovely as the pictures. We loved that we had options of ceremony/reception locations on the grass or on the sand. For what we wanted, the oceanfront grassy knoll was perfect for our intimate wedding. The packages are really reasonable. Oh, and thankfully the date we wanted was available. Upon meeting the Ko Olina wedding coordinator, Lissa W, we knew we found our wedding venue! Throughout the whole planning process, Lissa was a godsend (especially since we did not live on the island). She set up meetings with the local restaurant, florist, photographer, minister, and anything else we needed. She even sent us links for HI marriage license information and possible lodging accommodations for our friends and family. After getting married at Ko Olina, everything was absolutely perfect. Not one hiccup! In fact, all the things I stressed out about were completely handled by Lissa and her team. She really made it possible for us to JUST worry about showing up on time. You can add the Ko Olina Wedding and Productions as another reason why Ko Olina is a great place to plan a wedding.

We were a bit nervous using a videographer we have never met. We got married at Lanikuhonua and live in California, so we had no choice but to trust our wedding coordinator on people she recommended. I cant say enough great things about them-- We LOVED Ko Olina Productions. Not only because they captured such BEAUTIFUL moments in our wedding and made it into a cool video, but also because they were so nice and sweet. The whole crew were genuinely nice to us and our guests... Lance was proactive in asking us what was special to us and what we wanted them to definitely capture or include. They gave the groomsmen a Flip cam and sent us multiple copies of that video. The groomsmen had a blast recording, but had an even better time watching the video the following year (as a way to reminisce). By the way, we got the video right away. I cant remember how long but I want to say before we even had a chance to wonder when it was coming. And the Vimeo link of the highlight was awesome in sharing with guests and anyone that couldn't make it. We picked the songs included in the video. Quality of the video was 5 stars!! (I can't tell you how many times we've watched it. One of our family members even hosted a BBQ for the whole family to see it. And everyone really loved how it turned out)The crew day of the wedding was 5 stars!!The email correspondence was prompt and was 5 stars!!
