Knots & Shots Hawaii

I had a great experience with knots and shots as our wedding photographer 3 years ago. We still enjoy our photos. Would definitely recommend!

First off, I'd like to preface my review by saying, "Stephanie has a knack for putting nervous Brides at ease." Stephanie has a lovely, friendly personality, yet she is professional and competent. She was the Officiant for my Son's themed wedding. She goes above and beyond and even wore the requested themed garments. Not only did she look the part, the vows she wrote were equally splendid. This young woman obviously loves what she does and it shows! She is also a skilled photographer and captured the essence of a very special day! We highly recommend Knots and Shots! Thank you Stephanie, you're amazing!

My initial contact with Stephanie for an officiant and photographer was about a year prior to my wedding date. She was very thorough in explaining wedding timelines for photography. Her professionalism and attention to detail really helped. I really don't like taking pictures, so she allowed me to try different things until I felt comfortable. My pictures came out amazing. Our officiant, Kashara, was so sincere and delivered such a deeply touching ceremony. Her personality and smile put me immediately at ease. They both worked wonderfully together. I had an amazing time and everytime I look at my wedding pictures I get to relive one of the most important days of my life.

This review is for Stephanie from Knots & Shots Hawaii. She was the officiant for my husband and I's elopement on our shared birthdays this past November 2017. We specifically chose to elope to keep our wedding as low-key and stress free as possible and Stephanie lived up to that only requirement. :) From the get-go Stephanie was reliable, responsive, knowledgeable and so easy to work with. We got married at Lanikuhonua Beach in Kapolei, a public beach, and she took care of all the required paperwork to secure a permit for the day of, relieving a lot of that stress. Day of, she showed up early and was so personable; her officiant speech was very sweet (she emailed a copy to us beforehand for review) and was perfect for our ceremony. She submitted our official wedding certificate to the state on the same day, and even mailed us a commemorative certificate with a nice thank you card a few weeks later (the only vendor of ours who sent a thank you, btw)... my husband and I have framed the certificate and keep it in our room. :) Overall, I would highly recommend Stephanie from Knots & Shots. I didn't feel ANY stress on my wedding day (how many brides can say that?), which is exactly what I wanted, and Stephanie was a huge part of that. My wedding day was probably one of the (if not THE) best days of my life, and I have Stephanie to thank.

Steph took my maternity photos and I am in Love. She not only does weddings but maternity photos also. We did a milk bath session and my photos were so dreamy. She has a wonderful personality and is easy to work with. I felt really comfortable with her.

I was feeling frisky and wanted some sexy photos for my husband! Time to spice up our love life! Lol! Stephanie was very professional and friendly. She made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Stephanie made this photo shoot so easy to do even though I was a little nervous. She has a thing about her that will make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. It's like the camera is not even there.

Stephanie's assistance in our wedding planning was great. We found it really stress free & simple which was exactly what we wanted. The beautiful words in the ceremony really enhanced our special day. The photographer was really kind and genuinely cared about us and giving us some beautiful memories. The photos turned out really well and we are very happy. We would recommend knots and shots for your Hawaiian Wedding and photos. Mahalo Linda & Jody.

Best photographer her on Oahu!!! If you're looking for a super talented photographer who's also very caring and works with you to make your photos the way you invision them... she's the one!!! Did my youngest sister's senior photos with her and my sister absolutely loved them! She's so sweet and you can just tell that she really wants your photos to capture your own personality! Definitely someone we will have do all our family photography!!!

I would like to thank everyone at Knots & Shots who helped make our wedding day special! I am incredibly happy with our ceremony and our photo shoot. Stephanie was able to help us with our budget and even provided additional assistance after the wedding was over. We also had to reschedule our day and she was able to easily make adjustments. Steven was really sweet and we could sense his positivity through his smile. I really appreciate that he was able to submit the certification request immediately!! We had our marriage certificate by the next day! Beverly did an AMAZING job capturing as many photos during our sunset ceremony. She was quick and made sure that she got that perfect shot before moving onto the next pose. Thank you so much!! I can't wait to see the rest of them :)
