I came here to purchase 4 loads of red rocks. It is located near Fil-com center. There are no formal parking stalls so they will probably direct you to park in certain areas because trucks come in and out frequently. The owners are very cute, kind and hardworking people. The prices here are very fair, way better deal than big box stores and contractors. I would cut the middle man and come straight here for all of your rock needs. They also do deliveries but only on Saturday. I'm not too sure how far they deliver to, I am from Kapolei and delivery was OK'd. I had to come in person to make the order and pay, prior to delivery. The quality of the rocks are very good, have ordered from them about 16 years ago and rocks still very good. I would definitely recommend coming here and supporting these kind, hardworking, locals!

Visited Kiso Store in Waipahu this past weekend. Wife finally got the pagoda she's been wanting for a long time. Though we found what we were looking for, there is a very limited stock to choose from. The gentlemen working that morning mentioned that the moldings are delivered every couple weeks and are not made in-house. I suppose the stock is at random because he said the local guy who makes the items just drops off what's casted for those weeks. FYI - Parking might be a little tricky if you're going when others are there. From what we noticed, there were only two openings for a vehicle to park parallel to the front gate along Waipahu street. Take notice of the signs if you plan to visit. Cash and credit accepted :)

Wow, I didn't even know this place existed and it's on the other side of the island. Even finding this place was not easy. I'm glad I called and a lady assisted me and mentioned they were across the park and near Texaco. I looked up Texaco and found them eventually. Actually I was near when I drove down Waipahu St but thought they were further down. I envisioned Kiso store with a parking lot, but I was wrong. Everything you need is outside in the open with a little enclosed area for their office. I didn't know where to park but I guess it depends what you need and just park nearby on the side. The nice lady mentioned that they didn't have many concrete pagodas that weekend and the son said the guy who makes them, will have a new delivery soon. I did find one for a friend's garden which was considered a standard size for Japanese garden. It looked like our pagoda by our pond. It was the cheapest at Ninety-three dollars. The Son of the older couple said the pagoda was made from packed cement like how their cemented pots were made. It's more grayish in color and not solid white (natural color) concrete as the larger pagodas and statues. Those white natural colored concrete pagodas were stronger and cost was all over $100. Across the yard there was a huge Pagoda which weighed over 300 lbs which makes it difficult for anyone to steal from any yard. I was told it would not fit in my car and would need a truck. If you need loose white coral or sand by the bulk, they are sold by the scoops only if you have a truck otherwise you can buy them by the bags. So hard to find Pagodas these days and I rather buy it here locally. A local supplier makes it and supply Kiso and other places. Someone mentioned to me that there might be some pagodas at the Garden Shop by Moanalua Shopping Center but you need to have Military ID to make a purchase. The son of the elderly owners or co-owners was very helpful with giving me the prices and placing the concrete pagoda pieces in my car. The Pagoda comes in pieces and he gave me suggestions to how to secure it in the yard. There's no parking stalls, but just park on the side. Probably best to park closer to what is needed. There was an one way in and out. They take cash or charge. The son mentioned his grandfather started the business 78 years ago (from what I remembered) and right now his parents runs it and later he and his cousin(s) will keep the store open.At home, we have some of concrete pagodas, bird bath and animals which my grandpa loved and may have purchase them from some place like here or maybe at the Kam Swap meet decades ago! His children all inherited his many concrete pieces as a gift from him. We didn't really appreciate it then but now i do since it's not as easy to find. It does enhance your Japanese garden and makes it complete with a nice concrete pagoda. Thanks goes out to my friend Iris T. for the helpful tip! Happy to have found this place! Thanks for reading my review! =)
