Another review for this place:I've been coming here since I was younger with my parents, and it's always been a favorite. While the place isn't the fanciest, the food is consistently excellent. This time, I brought a friend who tried the northern noodles, while I enjoyed the grounded chicken and rice with egg--both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The service was attentive and friendly, with no complaints on that front. The ambiance is cozy, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The food never disappoints, and I'll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

Visiting the king...As my holiday madness is in full gear the thought of dinner is something that I just didn't want to think about let alone decide where I should go as traffic and parking is a game I'm not will to play along though they are located in Keeaumoku Plaza which is the heart of a very busy part of Keeaumoku and do have a very small lot that I'm in no mood to search for parking as I'm taking out the food. Arrived quite earlier to beat the dinner rush I was lucky enough to find parking right in front of the shop as there's a couple of metered parking where it was late enough to avoid the rush hour tow away time.Walking in the restaurant was empty with just one guy waiting for his order as I pretty much knew what I wanted..."Pad Kee Mao" because I really wanted Thai basil and yes ordered it spicy as I didn't imagine how spicy it can be as they used Thai chili lol! Protein choice was veggie which included carrots, bell peppers, broccoli and tofu...let me tell you when I got my order in the plastic take out container it was boiling hot and thank goodness I have hands that's able to handle the heat that many not be able to tolerate it and knowing that the staff literally just handed that over to me is quite concerning. The taste is quite amazing though hot is very hot as they use Thai chili peppers which is nice but for some looking for a bit of heat be warned it will be quite hot. The restaurant itself is nice and cozy with a few tables available for dine in service but if you plan for take out bring your own bag as they never (though I didn't ask) provided me one and just handed me the single flaming hot box. Thank you!

Such a staple! I have yet to actually make it into King of Thai Boat noodles, but I order religiously from them. Today I got the pad see ew beef, which I always get and the chicken green curry. I don't think I've ever ordered less than two dishes for myself because The pad see ew is bomb and the second dishes just something different. I'm going to try. Their pad thai shrimp is also delicious. I don't think I've ever been steered wrong with any of their items. I will definitely need to make a trip in person to actually try their thai boat noodle soup sometime soon. Mahalo for the consistently delicious food !

Small Thai spot with about 5 tables across from Sam's club and Walmart. We could sit anywhere, we were the only ones there at 5pm on a Monday. Staff is friendly, to the point. I got the crab fried rice and my mom got pad Thai. They didn't ask us spice levels so I loaded up on the chili sauce that was provided on every table. Both dishes were piping hot and had a decent flavor. Big portions too.

King of Thai Boat Noodles Overall: **** Recommended ****Food: *****Value: ****Menu: ****Ambiance: ***Service: ****Parking: ***** (validated, side & behind)If you're in the mood for Thai and in the Ala Moana area, at Walmart or Sam's Club, across the street is King of Thai Boat Noodles. The food is tasty, and they have a wide selection of dishes. There are usually customers speaking in Thai when I've been there, so I know that I'm in the right restaurant. It is small with limited seating. My favorite Thai restaurant in the Kaimuki-Kahala area is Red Elephant, in the Ala Moana-Kakaako area is King of Thai Boat Noodles, and in the Kapalama-Kalihi area is Siam Garden. However, you can only find these crab dishes here.Recommended Order:Soft Shell Crab Curry = ASoft Shell Crab Salad = ACrab Meat Fried Rice = ARoti with peanut sauce = AKhao Soi with Chicken = BPad See Ew with Chicken = BThai Boat Noodles = BHainanese Chicken Rice = BMixed Vegetables with Tofu = BYelp: https://yelp.to/Xfey2lU1wwWebsite: https://www.kingofthaiboatnoodle.com/YELP: Milton KSorry! They allow only one 12 second video & the remaining to 3 seconds. This is one of my favorite places to go for lunch, because the food is always good here! If you're ever starting to feel sick, get the Tom Yum Shrimp with Tofu! Unfortunately, this visit I ordered it but got the Tom Yum Chicken instead, which was not bad but I prefer shrimp... they also forgot about my Thai Iced Coffee, so I took it to go. Overall, I still love the food here and it made up for the service so 4/5 stars!

A really good late night eat spot. I've been here several times and it seems to never disappoint. The vibe is like better than a hole in the wall but not extremely furnished. Service is straight forward, you walk in, indicate you're dining in and the amount of people, and they've always told me to just grab any table. The tables already have menus on them so you can just grab and take a look. The yellow and red curry is pretty good. I typically like creamy and thick curries, and this place lacked the latter. The calamari is pretty good and a solid side dish to order. Wasn't overly breaded or too chewy. The drunken noodles (Pao Kee Mao) HITS, I love drink noodles from all thai places that I have tried. They always ask me how spicy I would like it and I always say as spicy as you can make it. I feel like that level varies as sometimes it's perfect for me and sometimes it's slightly too much (but still good). One day I will be my own demise but till then, I will keep saying "as spicy as you can". The noodles are bouncy and delicious, as the sauce is just *chefs kiss*. I also got their roasted duck, it was also very flavorful. One thing to note is that the portion sizes of their dishes are all in the middle. Meaning that for someone who eats a bit more, one dish may not be enough. I was stuffed but my partner who ordered the roasted duck was still hungry. Also love their thai tea!
