Sunday March 2, 2025 we came here to eat dinner at 3:30pm. Lunch special was from 12:30pm to 3:30pm and we just missed that. Oh, wells. Next time. The food came out shortly after we ordered our food. It looked good, smelled so good and it looked like a lot of food! ! Tip: always come hungry! The service was friendly and fast from the girl and the boys too. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. A little hot inside though as there was a lot of people at the time.

Food is always good and I love that the portions are huge! Service was good too, it just gets packed in here so sometimes it sucks because people don't think about others. Tonight the servers were a little all over the place. They need more structure or maybe more training?? because why did the server who brought out the hot food, kept placing it right in front of my baby??? Like, is it just me or is it only female servers who know not to place HOT food right in front of a toddler. Imagine he knocked it down or worse, burnt himself?? And he's a baby! You can't control when their intrusive thoughts come out and they whack the whole plate of food - and now food is wasted everyone is frustrated and like, no one wins, you know? Anyways, that's why I gave 4 stars despite having an eaten yummy food and the service being good. I had to minus a star because my baby is important and also, serving over a child is just a no brainer. Please understand that if you do those things and the baby hits the plate or cup and food gets wasted, it was your fault not the baby. The ambiance is nostalgic because this place has not changed since my hanabada days. I definitely recommend coming here and I would say, as packed as this place gets during dinner time, order that dinner for two special because it's a steal!

We came here for the lunch special, so prices whereby bad. The food was delicious and it was enough to feed my family of four (2 adults, 2 kids)-we even had leftovers!I loved that we got seated right away and that our order was taken soon after they provided water. It's not a fancy place, but it's worth stopping by. I recommend: meat jun, Kalbi, and the BBQ chicken

Our go to place for good meat jun. The other dishes are good also but the quantity they giver for the price and quality you get is well worth it! The ban chan could be better and they're very minimal.

So glad I saw a recent Instagram post on Kim Chee #7, and I surprised my hubby on this recent Sunday Funday! My husband I call him the Meat Jun snob, he really is, he has complaints on every meat jun that I get for him, since the nearest Kim Chee restaurant close to our place closed down a few years ago. While dining here and enjoying the yummy foods, it sure brings back memories of my big kids, this is one of the places we frequent when they were little. They loved Kim Chee #7, I am thinking of bringing the big kids here esp. when my daughter visits. Wow, thinking back 15+ years, since we last dined here as a family, We are getting old. I feel bad that my big kids are missing out! About my recent visit to Kim Chee, the parking lot was full after 2 pm, and luckily found a spot, checked in with the staff and still a little wait for table. Busy place, I can see why! Our waitress and entire staff were very helpful and friendly! They came by to check on us and asked if everything is ok. I did ask for a few extra items, bowls, extra utensil, more kim chee, take out container, sauce and they did it with a smile. We sat right next to the tea station and helped ourselves to the tea. Wow. this hit the spot after our meal. Of course inflation, but I remember the lunch specials was under $10.00, 15 years ago. Today $17.50 for 2 items is not bad, the portions are huge! Today's order: Meat Jun & Fish Jun lunch specials, Man Doo Kook Soo ( first time trying) and one side rice. The lunch plates comes with seaweed soup and kim chee. Could you believe, this was more than enough for 3, came home with leftovers for dinner that night. We were so stuffed and got our Kim Chee/Meat Jun fix this weekend. Wow. just as we remembered how the meat jun, fish jun, ban chan is so good, just like old times! The secret is also is their meat jun sauce, all the places we tried, the sauce is not the same, confirmed by my husband. First time trying the man doo kook soo, Noodle soup with thin long rice noodles, with man doo, kim chee and beef. I enjoyed this soup and it was a great addition to the lunch plate. I am so happy, we are so happy we finally visited Kim Chee 7 after all these years and of course we will be back for more!! This is the local kine meat jun that my husband LOVES and can't stop raving about, true story!

Ordered the kalbi and meat jun full-size plate. I think this goes for about $30, but I had leftovers for like two days! The meat jun is so delicious and so is the kalbi I really don't have any complaints. The service was fine And they were very attentive to fill up our waters. I think this place is like a local favorite, as a lot of my friends recommend it. I would definitely come back.

Tried their BBQ Pork for the first time as take out to a pot luck. Catering pans threw me off because they are pricey for the number of servings listed, so I opted for two side orders. When I called to order, nice lady who answered recommended 2 side orders as a potluck main for 9 people. It was a good suggestion, with maybe half of one of the sides left (always have to take more than enough!) So folks could take some home as leftovers. Probably would have been enough as one potluck entree for another 3 people. This was NOT their spicy pork, which seemed popular when I checked out Yelp reviews. In fact I was a little worried that there weren't many reviews of the regular BBQ Pork. But my fears were unfounded. Pork was very tasty, and not too fatty for pork, was tender, and had a tiny bit of char, which makes it better. Would get it again. Sorry - no pics. Hard to remember to take pics at a potluck.

3.5 starsWe've been searching for a replacement of Kim Chee 3's Meat Jun since they closed. Kim Chee II is part of the franchise that is closest in proximity to us but their Meat Jun wasn't close in our option. Two different people told me that Kim Chee Restaurant 7 was really good so I had to give them another try. I didn't recall previous visits so maybe they were right and I forgot? It's been years since I've dined at KIm Chee Restaurant 7 so I was actually excited to revisit. I came shortly after they opened and everyone was friendly upon entering. The restaurant was already busy with people dining in and they were taking phone order after phone order. The kitchen was quick and didn't take more than 10-15 minutes to get the order out. Considering how busy they were, it was pretty quick. I ordered the Mixed Plate Special B. The Meat Jun was tender but was poorly cut. Mostly all still stuck together. Kim Chee 3's Meat Jun is still the best IMO. The mandoo, BBQ chicken and kalbi were good but the sides weren't my favorite. I typically don't toss food but after a bite of each, I decided to toss them. Rice portion was decent but I needed more due to the saltiness of the meats. The star item of the order is the Meat Jun sauce. I wish other Korean BBQ spots offered a similar Meat Jun sauce. Overall a good lunch but the search for the best Meat Jun replacement continues.
