I drove down Ke'eaumoku and read "KIMBAP" in big letters--so of course, I had to stop in! I placed a takeout order around 10:00 AM on a Saturday and was told it would take about 30 minutes since she was already swamped with orders. When I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and patiently waited inside. (There are only about two small folding chairs inside).Auntie is soooo sweet, and it looks like she's running the shop all on her own! Everything is made fresh on the spot, and they have a cooler stocked with cold soft drinks, fruit cups, and sandwiches to grab on the go.Not only was the food a 10/10, but the service was fantastic. The food reminded me of home and the warmth auntie exuded prompted me to call my mom lol. Her cooking style is authentic and traditional. The kimbap was my favorite and the best I've had in long time. I'll absolutely be back to support this business!Pro tip: Have smaller bills or a credit card handyHam Kimbap - $7.99Turkey Sandwich - $7.99 Steamed Mandoo - $6.99

I'm glad this shop caught my eye while driving down the street! The Korean auntie is a super super sweet person. From what I know, I think she pretty much runs the shop herself with some family members helping her retrieve the ingredients. I definitely 10000% recommend to call in your orders because she does get busy! It can range from a 10 minute wait to a 30+ minute wait. I was able to talk story with her for a bit as she was working on my second roll. You can tell her passion/love language is cooking and it brings a smile to her face when people enjoy her food. I solely would keep coming back just to see her succeed; but her kimbaps were pretty amazing too! I see why her shop is called Kimbap Plus -- her rolls are pretty giant compared to the normal ones! Funny enough, the two times I ordered from her, I never got to eat the kimbaps fresh (couple hours in between) and they were still gosh darn delicious to eat! I can't imagine how even more yummy they would be if I got to eat them right away. She packs complimentary yakult with your order -- like wow what a throwback to my childhood. She offers a wide selection of kimbaps and other food/drink options. I truly hope word gets out to put her more on the foodie map!

Lunch in Honolulu, Hawaii...This Hot New Business popped up on my Yelp app:Kimbap PlusI thought: "I could use a snack and maybe mom will want some Korean sushi, too!"I drove over to Keeaumoku Street - close to the corner of Young Street. This cozy shop used to be Paris Café and Bahn Mi... and later, it was Aunty Gigi's Café. There's a free, shared parking lot right in front. Inside, there are 2 chairs and a table.Outside, there are a few seats. The nice lady behind the counter was making more fresh kimbap. Her husband was prepping some veggies on the side table. They're very industrious and pleasant! She even took a photo of Cony and Brown! Yay!After perusing the menu, I decided to get an acai bowl and take the kimbap home. The lady said she ran out of medium sized bowls, so I got a large. It was so beautiful with green grapes, yellow banana slices, red strawberries, and dark-colored blueberries. The bowl was topped with smooth honey and texturized with crunchy granola in the middle. Picture-perfect!The shrimp tempura kimbap was delicious with tangy takuan and firm, plump shrimp! That sesame seed flavor and seaweed make a great combination!I'm looking forward to returning and get a smoothie and more kimbap!

Tiny storefront that's been a few things over the years I've worked in the area, but I was excited to notice a new sign this week. Pretty simple menu of kimbap, açaí bowls, smoothies, spam musibi and bibimbap. As you can see, the kimbap is STUFFED and in my opinion, you totally get your money's worth. The friendly Korean lady was busy making kimbap and running the counter. Everything was clean and I'll definitely be back to try other rolls.

Such a cute hole in the wall!! We came here for the kimbap. Please call them ahead of time so you don't have to wait for your order. They make everything by the order so that means it's FRESH!! She fills the kimbap generously so this is our new go-to spot to pick up a snack for the golf course. The parking here is a little tight so the earlier you go in the day, it's easier to score parking.

This was my first time trying this place and it was so delicious! I ordered the shrimp Kimbap, Tuna Kimbap, Green Smoothie and fried mandoo. Everything was so delicious! It's such a beautiful, cute and warming environment. The owner "Sunny" was so sweet! She is very accommodating and puts passion into her food. I would honestly come here just to see her because she's the sweetest lady ever!! The decorations and environment is very esthetic. Although she just opened, they have a lot of customers coming in and picking up. I suggest you come here and taste this delicious food! It's such a reasonable price for the amount of food! The Kimbap is packed to the max, it's not stingy rolls. So you really get your moneys worth! This is not really a sit down and eat because it's so small but it's a really good on the go for lunch! I will suggest though to order your food ahead of time because since it's just her and she gets a lot of orders it's easier for her to get it prepared before you come. Because she doesn't like when you have to wait, that's how sweet and considerate she is! I can't wait to come here again!!! Thank you Sunny!!

If you are craving FRESH kimbap or smoothie, stop by at this hole in the wall on Keeaumoku. Parking is super easy and free. It's a tiny shop run by a sweet Korean aunty who does everything by herself. It's best to call in your order ahead fof time because she is very busy and usually makes the rolls, acai bowls and smoothies to order. I got the slightly spicy tuna kimbap and a green smoothie that was chock full of fresh frozen greens and avocado. All of it was yummy. Support our local businesses and eat healthy and tasty food at the same time!

A great place to get a fresh fruit smoothie or yummy acai bowls. The nice Korean lady owner made my smoothie on the spot and it was so refreshing. Her kimbap reminded me of my Mom's. It's not a sit down spot, just a place to grab food for take-out, with a couple of chairs for those waiting for their order. But her store was clean and welcoming and nicely decorated. Plenty of free parking where you can enter from either Young Street or Keeamoku.
