Kika

Kika Inc thank you soooo much for making our wedding as beautiful as it was! Erin was so helpful aiding us in figuring out exactly what we wanted. She emailed us mp3's of different songs/styles, was extremely responsive when emailing or calling back and forth, and really stayed on top of everything up until the day of the wedding.We absolutely LOVED our ukulele soloist Henry. We couldn't have asked for more!! He played and sang my requested song acoustically (so romantic sounding!) as I walked down the aisle and made the moment just as I had always imagined. We had asked if he could learn "our song" a few months before the wedding, and play it for our first dance. I was informed that if it's a Hawaiian song, it shouldn't be a problem... but our song was definitely not Hawaiian, and kind of a soft rock song. Erin told me she would play it for Henry and see if he was willing to learn it. A week later, she said he already knew how to play it!! It really made our first dance extra special when Henry sang our song. He actually made it sound a little bit hawaiian-ish and put his own twist on it, which I totally loved!!!! All of our guests kept coming up to me throughout the night and telling me how great he sounded, and how ever did we find such a great musician. :) Awesome, music to a bride's ears hehehe. He was very generous with his equipment too, allowing us to (unexpectedly) hook up the iPod for a Michael Jackson dance that two of our 7 year old guests had been choreographing since cocktail hour hahaha. The night couldn't have been any more perfect thanks to Henry!!!If I needed any kind of entertainment for any event, I would contact Kika Inc right away and book their services. They have everything you need! Dancers, performers, musicians, bands, hula dancers, DJs, etc. I am so happy we found Kika, and want to give them the kudos they definitely deserve!!

We were recently married at The Kahala and our package included a musical soloist through Kika Inc for our ceremony. Erin booked a ukulele player for us named Henry, and he was fantastic! He played from a pool of certain songs we requested and he played and sang exceptionally well. Erin even sent us an mp3 preview of his singing/playing beforehand and handled all our special requests.Only minor complaint was that Henry had his tuner on his uke the whole time, but I forgive him ;-). Overall he did a fantastic job on a day we'll remember forever, and we couldn't be happier!

Hired a DJ and Hawaiian Guitar Duet for our Kahala Hotel & Resort wedding with the help of Kika Inc.The Hawaiian Guitar Duet was able to accommodate our week before the wedding song requests: "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Hawaii PupuHinuhinu"They entertained our guests 15 minutes prior to the wedding ceremony, during cocktail hour and during our reception.We weren't able to get the guitarist we requested originally due to his availability, but we were happily surprised by how charming and professional the two Erin from Kika had setup for us. Both had beautiful soothing voices. Besides our guest loving the music, our Minister was happy to be working with our guitarists from Kika as he mentioned he had worked with them on numerous wedding occasions before.We are happy that we choose to have both live music as well as a DJ. Getting both from Kika was a great value. If we choose to get both from separate vendors, it would have been much more expensive. The DJ and guitarist worked well together. Taking turns alternating between mixed music and live music.Aside from the DJ forgetting to do a few things as outlined on our timeline of events list such as forgetting to announce one of our bridesmaids and groomsmen upon the bridal party entrance, he played most of our wishlist songs, helped facilitate two games we had, and had an idea of what music would be appropriate for our somewhat mellow crowd of 75.Erin from Kika was responsive and courteous like has been mentioned in other yelpers reviews.I would feel comfortable recommending Kika to friends and family.

Erin at Kika was responsive to emails and sent us sound bytes so we could decide on the instrument. We chose the ukulele and we were happy to learn we would be working with David Asing. I had previously exchanged emails with David before I booked our ceremony at the Kahala and he had agreed to learn a song for us. David was fantastic at our ceremony and played all the songs that we had requested. We were so caught up with the days event that we never got to thanks him personally. Thank you David for learning Valentine for us and sorry we didn't get to thank you in person.

We got married at The Kahala and our package included a musical soloist through Kika Inc for our ceremony. I requested a cellist and a few days prior to the wedding, they told me they got it mixed up and they accidentally hired a guitarist instead. So they really made an effort which I do appreciate and called all over the island and couldn't find a single cellist. The keyboardist they hired only played 2 songs and wasn't able to play the other songs I asked for so we had to have 2 songs streamed from Spotify/iTunes but we still had to pay the full sum for her. They're really nice people so I was trying to be okay with it but 6 months later and I'm still sad there was no cellist at my wedding.

Dear Janice. Aloha!I cannot thank you enough for the absolutely amazing entertainment you organised for us. Everyone was blown away. I looked around at everyone while the show was on and everyone was entranced and thoroughly enjoying it all. Thank you for organising the kids. They were a great addition to the show and everyone could not stop talking about how good they were. They are a credit to your culture and your future is in safe hands. Please pass that on to Merv. Merv himself was so awesome especially because we could all tell he had researched our culture and traditions and he tied the two cultures together so beautifully. The performance had so much meaning for us as a result of Merv's narration and relevance for us. The kids and the adults loved the magician- it was perfect. He had us laughing and enthralled with his wondrous magic. Please pass on our gratitude to him. Please let Courtney know that her presence reassured me that all would go smoothly. As you may have guessed I can be a worry wort! She was professional and kind. I cannot think of any other way to express my appreciation to you for making our event so so special and memorable. I will highly recommend you to anyone that requires entertainment here. You are wonderful! I hope you and your family have a merry Xmas and a fantastic new year!Adena
