Kettle Corn Hawaii

I was lucky enough to come across Kettle Corn Hawaii while at a UH volleyball game. It's always a treat to indulge in such sweet and salty goodness. I tried the li hing flavor that they make now and it was DELICIOUS! So much so that I bought another bag to take home. I paid $7 for the small bag which is packed to the gills and is totally worth it. The owner, Sam, is Mr. Aloha and provided amazing customer service. If y'all happen to be lucky enough to come across Kettle Corn Hawaii definitely check them out! Aloha

Hmmmm. Not sure what I think. We got green popcorn at the UH game. Fun!!! Our bag had lotsa kernels :(. And maybe we shoulda got the regular one, but my hubs wanted to get a festive one. He looked at us with a funny face. Me and my kid's lips, teeth and tongue were super green! So maybe just get the non colored one unless it's for the kids cuz I know they would get a kick out of it and have fun!

We were on Oahu for a high school sports competition and I was in need of team gifts. I contacted this company and asked if they could make popcorn in our school colors. Sam responded right away and said they could. They even delivered the popcorn to our hotel! I will definitely remember this awesome company for future team gifts.

By far the best kettle corn popcorn I ever had. I really enjoyed how their popcorn is more full and filling and not just the typical butterfly open ones. It's the mushroom open ones I believe its called. But all in all best kettle corn popcorn I ever tasted with a great popcorn to coating ratio. You can't go wrong, beats the powder and additional topping additives you can purchase at the stores. If your looking for the best kettle corn popcorn on island look no further then kettle corn Hawaii. You won't be disappointed. There is something about fresh kettle corn popcorn you just can't substitute. These guys definitely know what their doing.

A Must Have... 2020, we miss grabbing a few bags of kettle popcorn from Sam at the craft fairs, etc. Always a smiling face greeting people and showing his gratitude to serve the public with great popcorn . I was lucky to order a Santa's bag worth for my company to wish them a Merry Christmas. Thanks Sam and the crew... See you in 2021! Happy Holidays

We bought a $10 bag at graduation this weekend, a good part of unpopped corn kernels and the bottom of the batch. The popcorn was stale and salty too.The bag is not good to keep even a day. We bought it in case the graduate was hungry - it staved off hunger, but very disappointing. If you're going to charge this much, don't you think there should be more quality in the product?"Hawaii's biggest and best kettle corn!" I don't know about this...

Best Kettle Corn!!! We got to try some at the Yelp Monster Mash last night. My sister has had it before and loves it! We met Sam at the booth...he was so nice and friendly!! Gotta love supporting businesses that not only have a great product, but wonderful people behind it too! When we first got to the tent, my sis didn't see the cone-shaped popcorn-filled sample and picked up one of the bags of popcorn as a sample, and it just went from there...we kept joking about it and Sam was so funny as we kept adding to the joke! He ended up giving us a bag...very nice! :)

ATMOSPHERE: Sam dropped my order off to me when I wanted it. Nothing funky/strange about these people! They are down to earth... see SERVICE below.FOOD: They pop on site at public events and if you need to special order, you'll need to call them beforehand to try and put in an order as close to a popping day as possible. As indicated on their website, popcorn sales is based on availability.I first discovered them at a craft fair--I devoured the entire bag of li-hing-covered kettle corn. This is the BEST Kettle Corn I have tasted. They maintain a good balance of sweet and salty AND the best part is that they don't overcoat the popcorn in sugars. I try not to go for any chocolate/caramel covered ones... or those that are just drenched in candy coats. If you want a more balanced and delicious tasting kettle corn without the coats overdone, Kettle Corn Hawaii is THE place to go. Packaging is very clean and neat and you get enough bang for your buck: Large bag (4 quarts) is $6, small bag (1quart) is $3. I special ordered about 15 Small bags so that I could give them out as graduation treats for UH Manoa graduates. I was worried the small bag wouldn't look plentiful enough but holy moly it can feed two hungry people. (My mom and I finished one small bag while walking back to our car from the graduation.) Small bag for $3 is a deal, people. You can also request the colors that you want to color your popcorn with. All of the flavors are the standard sugar coat flavor--no fruity/food flavors. I love that... the fruit/food flavored colors turn me off. Thank God all the colors taste the same. :)SERVICE: EXCELLENT. Gave Sam tip too for driving my order to my workplace. We both had busy schedules and he maintained excellent communication the whole day. We kept in touch for the entire week of my order. He double checked my order and made sure that it would be prepared and delivered to me in the best and most convenient way possible. He offered cheaper options as well and if he could make it easier for my treat packaging. These guys are on it and I would love to give them business again for the next graduation season. Kettle Corn Hawaii uses the biggest and roundest popcorn I've ever seen. They also use just the right amount of sugar and salt so it's not too sweet or too salty. It's totally addictive.

Got this popcorn at a craft fair a while back and been meaning to write a review so here it is. The customer service from this company was pretty bleh. Not super nice but i guess not too off putting either. If they make it through this pandemic, they should definitely work on that. The price is steep for how big the bag is but I thought if it's good i'm sure it's worth it. The popcorn tasted horrible. I'm not sure if maybe this company just isn't very experienced and haven't found the right ingredient combination yet but I threw it away after the first bite.There's another kettle corn company that I always see kids fundraising with outside of Safeway (I forget the name) and they are by far the best i've ever had. My suggestion would be to not waste your time and money on this company.
