I got their chicken inasal, which is the perfect balance of smoky, peppery, and citrus flavored chicken legs marinated to tender perfection and traditionally charcoal grilled. This chicken is served with steamed rice, a salty soy, calamansi and vinegar dipping sauce. Don't forget to get their garlic rice either, bc you definitely gonna get a food coma right after. We decided to go there as soon as they opened today at 4pm, it was a great decision! They sold 10 chicken inasal in half an hour (4 is ours lol) and they only have 26 chicken inasal servings for today.Sayuri gave us excellent service. She answered all my questions as it was our first time going there. She even remembered talking to my husband yesterday when he called to asked if they're open. We ordered 4 chicken inasal plates, pork bbq sticks and isaw (adobo pork intestines), cassava flan and latik.Chicken inasal- was so tasty and cooked perfectly. The jasmine rice with the chicken oil and fried garlic was very good.Isaw- wow! I was a little skeptical ordering it due to bad experience from other places. I'm so glad I listened to their first customer (their neighbor). The isaw didn't have any of the gamey smell and taste, it was so good that even my daughter ate it.Pork bbq stick- tender, juicy and very tasty!Cassava Flan- tasty and not overly sweet. Perfect dessert to end a very good meal.Oh and btw, I told my Japanese/Filipino son that the best way to eat this Filipino food is by eating using our hands lol! We ate it this way and he said it's one of the best meals he ever had. Eating with his hands was an experience for him. Thank you Sayuri/Kenjiro team. You've earned another loyal customer. Grilled chicken or pork belly with garlic jasmine rice, sometimes it's the simplest things that are the best. This truck was at the Renaissance Inn in Kapolei and I decided to give it a try. The lady who I assume is the owner was so friendly. She explained the options andI just said "I'll take both"! While my plates were being prepared I saw a container of Thai chili and so I asked if there was a spicy option. I was given a few Thai chili and told to crush them in a small cup with Shoyu and then dip the meat. The pork belly and chicken had a great flavor. The meat was cooked fresh on the grill, the smell of delicious bbq was all over. I preferred the chicken. Rice with garlic and shoyu mixed in, I couldn't eat enough and I'm really not a rice eater. The DIY hot sauce was HOT but delicious. Simple food done right, what more can you ask for?I'm so glad I got to try this truck and if I see them again I'll surely buy a plate.

My friend suggested I try this food truck/tent at Kapolei's night market and I was glad she did. The food was amazingly delicious that we ordered a second plate and the price is pretty reasonable. The chicken isaw taste like the ones in the Philippines so that was very much worth it. And the customer service is super great!!!! Definitely will go back again. ( I should've taken a picture of the food to justify the deliciousness of it)

Love this pop up! Owners are extremely friendly, woman that takes orders always has the biggest smile! I always get the chicken, always on point. This little gem is hidden down a side road in front of residence inn, they might setup elsewhere when they are not here, IDK. If you are staying at the residence inn you will definitely know when they are setup as the hotel hallways will smell heavenly. My only complaint would be is the suffering you will endure if you have eaten elsewhere and then walk into the heavenly smelling hotel Haha. Thanks so much!

Food was amazing and service was amazing! Ordered the chicken inasal, grilled liempo, bbq sticks and grilled hotdog it was all so delicious! And the rice was perfect!

Food was grilled while you wait. This makes your meal fresh and he doesn't burn the chicken and the pork. The whole meal was very tasty!!
