Keao's Photography

"Shut up and take my money!", is what I said out loud when I saw the proofs of the family photography session that we did with Ms. Keao.Both sides of the family met in Oahu for vacation, and months prior I suggested that we should hire a professional photographer so we could 1) remember the occasion, and 2) have some updated photos of the family as we have our newest addition: our son Xavier.After doing my required Yelp searching, I narrowed it down to 4 photographers who specialize in children's photography. Though Keao was the priciest of the 4, I chose her because she didn't put a time limit on her session. I thought this was key because my son was only 7 months and not only was I unsure how he would handle the time difference, but he's just fidgety and unpredictable at this age! Communication was really easy via email and all my questions were answered. She also provided good tips on styling, which was useful as there would be 8 of us and we wanted to have some sort of cohesiveness.The session itself went smoothly, even though Xavier fell asleep about 20 minutes in! We still took advantage and had her photograph all the possible family combinations while he took a nap. Looking at the photos, you can't even tell that Xavier was cranky, haha. Also, I felt as if she captured us how we really are... it's hard to explain. Looking at a photo of me and my sister-in-law being silly, it just made me think, "OMG this is us!!"I'm extremely happy with the work Keao's done, and can't wait to show the photos off on my social media accounts, Christmas 2017 cards, and any other occasion in the future. Kardashians, eat your heart out!

If I could give Keao's Photography 100 stars I would!! We recently had the privilege of having this super gifted and highly skilled photographer to shoot our family. Keao is so easy to work with and responds quickly & really listens to requests and also ideas for the photoshoot. She provides such helpful information to help you with choosing your background and outfits than later providing tips on choosing excellent photo packages for your digital files. Keao has a very laid-back, sweet and easy going personality she never makes you feel rushed or uneasy and has a excellent eye for capturing gorgeous and timeless shots in a simple and efficient manner. My children (all THREE of them) responded so well to her and liked her and one even had a high fever and she was able to get her to smile and laugh! Keao's style is simply beautiful and there were so many shots she captured that we purchased all of her incredible timeless images and we will treasure them forever!

Where do I even start!!! This lady is AMAZING!!!! Her photos are amazing, but she is also as AMAZING as her photos!! She makes you feel really comfortable while doing the shoot as she captures that perfect moment!!! I appreciated all the cool little things that you wouldn't think to bring that makes that picture extra special!!!Would I ever use her wonderful photography business again!!! ABSOLUTELY!!! It is a lifetime of cherished memories!!!!!!!!

Keao is amazing! Period! I hired her for an anniversary event for a non-profit organization and the photos she took were spectacular. She has an amazing eye and is in just the right place at the right time to get creat candid shots of everyone at the event. She was also great at getting small posed group shots throughout the night. Keao also made quick work of the photos and got them to me very quickly so we could post them online and print some for special guests.If you have an event, Keao is THE person to call.

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 10th anniversary with a photo session... especially because we did not have official photos at our wedding, which was at a Las Vegas Casino Wedding Chapel (yes we were married by an Elvis impersonator). Keao sent us several emails to remind us of the date and time, gave us tips about what to wear to make our photos "pop", and was a bundle of fun!Keao made our session enjoyable, even making us laugh to ease the awkwardness of having our photo taken... yes she even convinced us (we are very prim and proper) to have kiss on camera.The one thing I loved the most was the fact that Keao was very willing to photograph our entire family (with our girls/dogs) even though she is not an animal photographer. I loved the location that she picked out, which allowed us two backdrops and two outfits. We have photos that we will cherish forever. Kudos to Keao!

Keao is a fantastic photographer who goes above and beyond to get the best pictures. I hired her to be my wedding photographer in Sept and absolutely loved the pictures that she took. To be honest I gave Keao very little direction but she managed to capture everything I wanted and more! Needless to say, she's very easy to work with and has a beautiful eye. Hire her an you won't be sorry!

She is awesome! A great husband and wife team for wedding photography. I love her clean edits. Never anything to cover up with weird edits. Knows what she is doing.

If I could give Keao 5 stars, I would give her 10! We traveled to Oahu from Portland, OR for a family vacation and wanted to take some family photos on the beach where my husband and I got married 5 years ago. I contacted her based on the reviews online and am so happy that I did. Our photos are incredible and she got them to us so fast! She communicated with me and checked in with me all the way from when I booked with her and up until our appointment day. The photo shoot was fun, relaxed and she was so patient and good with our 2 year old. I will cherish these photos forever! I will definitely book with her again next time we are in Oahu!

We just had our second session with Keao and words can't express how impressed we are with her work. She did a family session for us in December and just did one in June of our two year old daughter. She was very professional and at the same time was able to put our family at ease. She made it a fun experience and was able to get beautiful shots even when our daughter wasn't an easy subject. She knew all the tricks. :) Keao has delivered high quality images and captured the essence of our family as a whole and us as individuals. She truly tells a story with her photography. We highly recommend her!Btw-I've seen her wedding & maternity shots and they're amazing too!

You can't go wrong with Keao's Photography! She is so easy to work with and she does everything with excellence. From start to finish, Keao was a joy to work with and she was very sweet and calm. I was on a tight budget and paid for my whole wedding, and I was able to find an affordable package on her website. I was floored when she invited TWO more photographers to join her on my wedding day. Normally, an extra photographer costs at least a few hundred more, but these ladies were wanting to get some creativity in, and joined her. Ontop of that, Keao mailed a beautiful package with photos and a flash drive. She knows her stuff when it comes to technology and preserving photos. Thank you Keao and team for your beautifully crafted work. They are a dream. I am so glad we got to work with you. We hope your business flourishes and blesses so many more. Mahalo.
