You'll need Base access to enjoy this awesome course. Perfect for your short game practice or just a quick golf session. It is also the Only night golf course on the Island that I know of. I think they close at 9 or 10pm. Ladies at the front are very friendly and helpful. You have the option of using the carts, but most like to walk since it's just 9 holes. The greens are pretty well maintained in my opinion. Fairway is ok. They also have a small bar next to the shop.

Ke'alohi Par 3 is a great little course for practicing your short game and just enjoying being outside. This course is located on Base Pearl Harbor Hickam and requires base access. The green fees are charged based on your military pay grade. This is an easy course to walk and play. It is a short course and you really don't have to carry all your clubs or a big golf bag, you really might only need 4 clubs. Not alot of people playing this course so it is great if you are learning and need some extra time. You wont be rushed and if you are the people are ok with playing through. They have a small pro shop that sells some clubs, balls, hat's, and other golf equipment at pretty good prices. They service is outstanding. Also in the area is a small bar with great service and a pretty good selection of drinks. The ladies are very nice and helpful. Lots of T.Vs so you won't miss the game. They have dive bar prices.

We played this course yesterday and it was decent. Its been a long time since ive played an actual full course of golf and same for my better half, so we thought 9 holes was more up our alley. Its located on the left side of the hickham base when coming in the main gate, as opposed to the side with the commissary and exchange. Parking is plentiful and free, and the shop is easy to find. Next to the pro shop theres a bar and a Mexican restaurant, but both were closed when we were golfing at 0745.The golf attendant was friendly and chipper (har-har, golf joke), and seemed to charge us based on AD members rank. Everyone playing is required to have their own clubs, so we rented another set as well as some bag caddies to drag behind us.The course itself is in need of some TLC, the tee boxes are pretty scraggly with mostly divots, but the greens looked mostly good. All the holes are par 3 except for I think 2 par 4s, but we usually hit double that because we're so out of practice. We will definitely return for the ease of scheduling, great prices, and convenient location for us military families.

The Ke'Alohi Golf Course (Par 3) is Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam's baby sister to its 18-hole championship course, Mamala Bay. Ke'Alohi Par 3 is just 9-holes that measures 1435 yards or 2870 yards for 18-holes. It plays as a par 27 for men and a par 29 for women. The holes range from 100 to 200 yards so as you might imagine, you don't need a full set of clubs. When we come here to practice, we usually bring just 3 clubs and focus on our short game. We like that this course can be played at night until 10:00 pm under field lights and you're kept cool by the evening breezes with no worries about getting sunburned. Green fees are very inexpensive and range from $6 to $11, dependent upon your military or civilian status. For the inexpensive fee, don't be looking for a well-manicured or lush course with water features or fancy course layout. However, like with all golf courses, proper attire and etiquette is important. This course attracts many experienced and beginner golfers...patience is key while the pace of play can sometimes get bogged down. For those more experience players, might I suggest that you search your memories of when you began golfing and for the beginners, please understand that golf is a SPORT that has rules and a time frame. With that in mind, let's all just go out to have fun!Rating 3.5 rounding up to 4 stars for the flexibility of hours of operation and friendly staff.#373

Neat little course to help you with your short game. The greens are awful, but it's still fun. If golf isn't your game, you can still rent soccer balls from the pro shop and play foot golf! The Mexican restaurant nearby has some truly amazing and surprisingly authentic Mexican food. Definitely a hidden gem.The bar, across from the clubhouse, is cool little divey joint. Couple TV's in the bar for sports. Mack, Mark, and Bobbi are all very friendly and personable bartenders. Drink specials and happy hour are really good. There's a little popcorn machine in a corner for some free grinds. The bar gets pretty lit on Friday and Saturday nights. A buddy and I used to grab a tall can from the bar before heading out for a fun round of golf.

Not a stellar course, but I'm not all that great a golfer anyway. This place is great for practicing your short game. There are no hazards, unless you hit the occasional tree or lamp post like I do. The fairways aren't in super condition and neither are the greens. There always seem to be at least a few patches in both. It's okay though, because you really can't go wrong for the price. There's almost never a crowd, so even if you're a slow player, you'll probably never feel rushed at all.

Strongly Recommend! If you live on-base this is a great chance to work on the most important part of golf, your mid to short game. In addition to the 9 holes they have a nice putting green and a practice hole both are great.

My husband and I went to this golf course a few weeks ago. My husband spoke to someone the day prior who told us they weren't busy and he didn't need to make a tee time and could just walk in. Also said there isn't a dress code and it's relaxed. So we go the following day, and walk into the shop to see about availability for that same day and were "greeted" by the new manager an older gentleman. He immediately gave me a disgusted look as he looked me up and down for about 5 seconds before saying anything and asked me if I intended to golf. I was in shorts and crocs as I was only going to be riding in the cart not playing. And men were walking by me in gym shorts as well. No one was dressed in "golf attire". He said I was not allowed to wear my crocs at all near the course due to chemicals they leave where they walk and that if I wanted to be there even to just ride in a cart I would need to BUY his golf shoes in the store. Where he then said to me "you can wear them golfing and when you walk to the store". All of this in a very condescending tone and made me SOO uncomfortable as this was all in front of many people and he kept looking me up and down and staring at my shorts. ( which were almost to my knees so not booty shorts either) I didn't even know what to say bc the man my husband spoke to the day prior assured us everything was relaxed. He then said that we shouldn't ever come there without making a tee time "as he's the new manager and he emailed alllll his old clients and informed them where he now works and that he will have the whole place booked especially every Thursday-Sunday and we should never just walk in". It was all extremely uncomfortable and completely unprofessional the way he spoke to us. Made us feel like we were not welcome there bc of how I looked and was dressed and bc my husband didn't assume he should make a tee time based on his prior conversation with one of the workers. Either way we will never go back there again. The way he made me feel as a woman and how I was dressed was awful and the way he spoke to my husband about the whole thing was just so wrong. I understand they can get busy and I understand golf etiquette and how to dress but we were told it was chill AND there were tons of guys on the course and in the shop wearing gym shorts and they were given zero crap. And there is definitely a correct way to say that without making us look and feel like idiots in front of the whole shop. Will never go back while it's managed by that guy.

Great place to practice your swing. Course is very rough, fairways potted, greens mostly sand, but who cares, it is a practice course for the short game. Or a great place for the beginner golfer that doesn't want to spend a ton of money on a regular course. Staff super friendly, price is right. Be careful on the cart paths, they are dangerous.
