This little village is cool...Kapolei Village Center is located across Kapolei Lofts and there's no signage that I could see to indicate you're here but you'll know when you're here when you see Foodland.Weather you're here to stock up at shop for your groceries at Foodland or take care of your cravings at Domino's, Gina's, L&L, Coco Ichiban, Hawai'i Pot Shabu Shabu, Ninja Sushi, Paco's Tacos, Ramen Bones, Pho Kapolei, and other services available here or what I came for tea...Yi Fang as I do love tea and have chargers at each seating giving me a chance to recharge. There's lots of shared free parking which makes it easy to park and enjoy whatever you're here for as I found myself enjoying the quiet vibe here regardless the bustling amount of cars that constantly come and go you can literally eat, shop and even get some deals with KVC Discount Card.Thank you!

Great place to pick up some delicious poke. There is a good selection of items even though it's a smaller foodland. The service at the poke counter is quick and they are helpful. Great value on various items in the store with a lot of local items to choose from.

Kapolei Village Center, thanks for bringing these tenants to the City of Kapolei. But your KVC Discount Card Program is a joke. Whenever I try to redeem the discount or a promo, the store treats me like I'm a criminal. Here's a few examples: The Foodland offer: free reusable bag with any $50 or more purchase. I thought this was a great promo, get some grocery shopping done, get a free bag. Win-win. NOT! Some of the workers have no clue about the promo, others say it's only good on the weekends and yet another said the promo expired. Foodland get your act together. I'm spending my money @ your establishment, isn't that a good thing??? (The promo doesn't say weekends only, and the promo is still posted on the KVC site with NO mention of an Expiration Date) L&L offer: 10% of your purchase. When I arrived at the restaurant I showed the cashier the promo ahead of time just in case they weren't gonna honor it, I would eat elsewhere...she looks at it. Asks what is that? Omg really? It's a promo your landlord is offering and you have no idea about it??? She takes my phone and goes to the back kitchen to talk to some guy and asks him about it. The guy says yeah they can accept that. 10% off isn't a real big deal, but I'm helping this establishment by eating there. Smh. So again, the discount program is a joke since the tenants are so resistant to honoring it. I don't understand why? If this brings in the traffic, why not honor it? Instead you make your customers feel like criminals or maybe even worse than that. I grew up shopping @ the Market City Foodland and L&L Hawn BBQ has always been my go-to local plate lunch place so I was elated to see these two tenants here in kapolei, expecting the same great friendly service...boy was I wrong! Kapolei is a growing community, guess I'll be looking elsewhere for my groceries and bbq plate lunches.

I give Kapolei Village Center 5 stars because of the convenient location and businesses within the center. It's what makes for a happy, returning customer!Atmosphere:The shopping center has a great vibe and is very clean. It is well lit when it gets dark out and security has a presence. There's ample parking to accommodate customers for all the establishments. Chances can get slim on the weekends when patrons are at all the eateries, BUT, you can EASILY score free street parking that surrounds the north and western parts of the center. Food:Although I haven't been to all the restaurants yet, I'll list everything there.Ninja Sushi Sushi, Sushi, Sushi! Tasty Shack Pho, Banh Mi, Spring Rolls and more!Japanese Cuisine Takumi Japanese RestaurantTeddy's Bigger Burger Burgers, Shakes & FriesHot Pot Shabu Shabu House Shabu Shabu styleCoco Curry House Curry everything!L&L BBQ Plate Lunches galore!Domino Pizza Pizza!Foodland Poke and Poke BowlsCoffee Bean & Tea Leaf Coffee, Tea and baked goods and snacksServices:Foodland All your grocery needsCosmic Beauty Hair, nails and spa. They have an awesome staff and great customer service!Great Clips Convenient for a quick cut!Mattress FIRM2 Dental officesConvenience: Walking distance to residences On bike path Close to the Kapolei Transit Center On one of TheBus routes Easy access/entry/exit for driversWould love to see: A diner-style coffee shop with breakfast, lunch, dinner service A dessert shop or a cafeWe are always happy with our experience in the center as well as with all the businesses. Will definitely be back!

I mostly come here to shop at Foodland. Keep saying I going try one of the eateries but haven't yet after all this yrs. N yes I don't live in kapolei but prefer to shop at this Foodland location than the Sack N Save in my town it just offers more.Parking can be tight depending on the time of day but you can also park on the street when available. They have a KVC night market every last Saturday of the mth, check their fb pg. I've gone to a few it's small only a few vendors but the entertainment is fun to watch. So if in the area shopping on the last Saturday of the mth from 5p-8pm go check out who is performing you might see the local drama crew putting on a wonderful show.

Kapolei Village Center is located within walking distance to Kapolei Lofts and a few blocks Ewa of the Kapolei Transit Center. Some of the establishments that a person would find at this shopping center are:Foodland - last minute grocery shopping. The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf - located inside of Foodland.Teddy's Bigger Burger - for the burger lovers.L&L Hawaiian Barbecue - barbecue plate lunches.Ninja Sushi - for the sushi lovers.Sleep Train - new beds for the home. There are other eateries at this shopping center that specializes in pizza, curry, and ramen. There's also a dentistry and a nail salon. As for the restroom facility...the only one I know of is in Foodland and customers would need permission from employees to use their restroom.162/200

The main shopping venues in Kapolei seem to take shape at the joint Kapolei marketplace and the Kapolei shopping center, just off the H-1, when you get off the ramp into Makakilo and Kapolei. What if I told you there's another shopping destination you may want to check out?I noticed on Google Maps one day that there seems to be a smaller shopping area that's about a half mile from the Kapolei regional park. It seems like most of the good shops is anchored in the two more well established malls in Kapolei. For those of you who like the eclectic mix of eateries, dining options, and other assorted shopping avenues here in Kapolei, you will want to check out the Kapolei Village shopping center. While it may be a lot smaller than what you are used to in a bigger strip mall, there are different stores and restaurants here that serve anyone and everyone who are willing to shop and discover the best things here in Kapolei. Kapolei Village shopping center is anchored by the venerable Foodland supermarket, which is your daily or weekly source of groceries and other shopping needs. What you don't find at the other shopping centers is found here. The likes of Hawaii Hot Pot and Teddy's Bigger Burgers making their appearance here in Kapolei makes it clear that they are as important in the community, as the other two main commercial centers of Kapolei, along with Walmart nearby. Kapolei Village is a cute oasis that just seems far away from the main thoroughfare. Only about 1/2 mile from the Kapolei regional park, it just felt far, since I walked here from the Kapolei Transit Center. :-PThe overall vibe I got from being here at the Kapolei Village shopping oasis is that it seemed out of place, like it was in the middle of nowhere. Kapolei is kind of spread out, in terms of the area related to where everything else is. The parking here is plentiful, but always need to be mindful that there can be traffic jams, when you least expect it. The Kapolei Village shopping center oasis is located at 4850 Kapolei Parkway in the heart of Kapolei. If you are like me, I usually take Country Express C out here because it's way faster on TheBus, versus taking route 40, which goes through airport, Pearl city, and Waipahu, before entering Kapolei (non highway stuff). It's about a half mile walk from the transit stop and I did walk it, just to check out the scene and take a few photos on a recent August 2016 afternoon, while chasing Pokemon during the Pokemon Go craze of 2016. Many of the merchants here accept credit cards, so that's always a good thing. Foodland is the anchor here at the Kapolei Village, along with Teddy's Bigger Burgers are among local favorites. There are some retailers that I am not really familiar with. That Hawaii Hot Pot restaurant on site is sure to be good - at least based on the yelp rating on their business page. For the merchants who thrive here, the Kapolei Village shopping oasis is kind of like a satellite location of the Kapolei Shopping center / Kapolei market place in some respects. While the total space, including parking, is relatively small, you can find what you need here with relative ease. While it's just about 1/2 mile from the other shopping areas of Kapolei, it will be beneficial for y'all who come here to Kapolei. I would like to try out that Hawaii Hot Pot sometime and Teddy's Bigger Burgers are always a hit with the local crowd. Best bet is to come here when it's non peak hours to avoid congestion and find good VIP parking. I think there's a Japanese restaurant there that's a great place to have dinner and special events too. Might look into that for my birthday or something fantastic and epic. Good shopping and eating options here too, if you are in the area.4.0 stars, although I wish that TheBus would stop a little closer here than having to walk 1/2 mile. Oh well. Still cool.Support local!B

Great location for the local Foodland supermarket. There are a few places to eat here (Shabu shabu, Ramen, Teddy's, Dominos,etc.). Overall a pretty great spot especially if you live in the surrounding townhouses and S/F homes. There's even a little outdoor sitting area outside Foodland to take a load off for a while. My only gripe is the parking. This is mostly due to the popularity of the businesses here. I just wish there were a few more stalls sometimes. Not a huge problem. I usually can find a spot within one sweep of the lot.

There is a great selection of eateries to go along with Foodland. The only negative is the parking situation. The stalls are tight and driving lane is narrow. People without placards park in ADA stalls all the time, since there's no enforcement. Two ADA stalls by Foodland do not seem like true ADA stalls since it's right at the curb and there's no space.
