Kapolei Marketplace is smack dab in the heart of everything. This marketplace has eateries, grocery stores and some other shops that may entice you to visit. Parking is free and there are bathrooms, but they will only give the code to paying customers. My only issue is sometimes the parking and the exit get clogged from the stop lights. Other than that, it's a great place to get groceries, crack seed snacks and a quick bite to eat. Popular places to check out: Sushi Bay Da Crawfish and Crab ShackEn FuegoPlantation TavernPacifico Pizza NapoletanaAgu RamenJulie'z El MariachiHungry for the familiar places? Not to fear. I come here a lot because of Orange Theory Fitness, which is also located here! There are more shops I never mentioned. So if you are wondering what is here, just check it out!

Kapolei Marketplace is one street away from Kapolei Shopping Center. Even though the gas station was originally part of Kapolei Shopping Center it is actually part of Kapolei Marketplace. At the Kapolei Marketplace a person will find:Da Crawfish and Crabshack - crawfish, crabs, lobster, and alcohol.Julie'z - for the Filipino food.Ho Ho's Chinese Restaurant - for the Chinese food.Koa Pancake House - for breakfast foods.Fun Factory - video games for the kids and kids at heart.UPS Store - last minute shipping of boxes, fax, print, or photocopying can be done here.Hawaiian Island Creations - better known as H.I.C. for all the swimwear and graphic tees. There are other establishments located at the Kapolei Marketplace. A place to go get lab tests done, real estate agency, investment agent, as well as another moolah branch.Public restrooms are located near one of the food establishments...a person would need a key to access the door that leads to the restrooms.160/200

It's a bit confusing as Kapolei Market and Kapolei Shopping Center is separated by a simple traffic light turn that leads to both centers. As Chili's is the dominant restaurant on the shopping center side, En Fuego and Julie'z Filipino Food are the most notable on the Marketplace side. You have Kapolei Family Medical center and Diagnostic Labs located here. There is also a credit union, food eateries, smoke shop and Fun Factory for the kids to enjoy. A must try is Ono Steak and Shrimp. They are a steak and shrimp place BUT their garlic shrimp is so good! Them sauce is a bit thicker and full of flavor. Another staple would be Koa Pancake house. No explanation needed for this place! A little more shops and this side may be as bustling as its neighbor center. Kapolei continues to grow and I can't wait to see what new shops will join this growing area.

Ever since I saw the sign, I thought that this place was just one large shopping center. Who knew that the Kapolei Shopping district was actually 2 shopping strip malls that was separated by a street? I didn't know that they were two distinct shopping districts for the longest time, until I saw that sign "Kapolei Marketplace", then I knew it was two distinctive shopping centers with its own veritable characteristics. Both of them have food and restaurant options, while the Kapolei shopping center seems to have more land than the Kapolei Marketplace.I stopped here at the Kapolei Marketplace a dozen or more times during the course of 10 years than I can think of, ever since there was something outside Kaimuki and wanted to explore. Needless to say that I assumed that it was Kapolei Shopping center all of these years, till I saw that sign during a recent session on July 2016 during a trip to find more Pokemon during the Pokemon Go craze of 2016. If you haven't played the game before, it's fairly addicting with a popular place to catch them all is nearby the Kapolei Marketplace, about ¼ mile at the Kapolei regional library. There's at least a dozen restaurants and shops here, as well as other specialty stores you can check out and patronize. Whether you are a resident in Kapolei or just a visitor, stopping at the Kapolei Marketplace can be one of the best things you can do for your budget and stomach. Great restaurants and eateries to choose from that will tailor to your budget and tastes. The overall experience here each time at the Kapolei Marketplace is that of an average feel. Don't get me wrong though, it's nice to be here. It's an open air strip mall that seems to be the space where everyone goes to for all things in Kapolei. The Kapolei Marketplace is located next door to the Kapolei Shopping center, just off the H-1 westbound heading towards Waianae. Take the exit towards Kapolei/Makakilo/Ewa Beach, and you should hit up this place anytime you come to this shopping center. Not sure why they decided to split up these two properties apart, or were they simply two different properties to begin with? Inquiring minds want to know, especially me. Kind of cute how the Kapolei shopping center and the Kapolei Marketplace is only separated by a mere road cutting the two properties literally in half. While the Kapolei shopping center looks like it's the bigger of the two, I've always shopped here and didn't think twice about it. This shopping center is at 590 Farrington Highway in Kapolei. Many of the merchants at this shopping mall accepts credit cards, which is always a good deal for anyone who shops with the plastic. Being that it's a shopping center, the parking here is pretty good. There are many stalls here to suit your needs, although you'd want to come here during non-peak times to ensure a spot, or be prepared to wait a while. If you're like me, TheBus routes Country Express C and route 40 come through here and stops off at the Kapolei Shopping Center and Kapolei marketplace. For the most part, I enjoyed my stay here at the Kapolei market place, either to just hang out with nothing to do, or eating out at one of their great dining establishments here. Best bet would be Ono Steak and Seafood and Koa Pancake House. Hop on over to Hulashake for that creamy dessert. While many options here are food related, there are other services here too. The only banking option here is a credit union, although you can find your favorite bank's ATM nearby. If you are bored, Fun Factory has games for the kids and for the adults with who's a kid at heart. I know my fondest memories of my childhood were playing video games. Still, there's a UPS store and a copy shop for those of y'all who need that kind of services. There's H&R Block for your tax needs and Edward Jones investments for your financial savvy investments. There's Supercuts and Regis Salon to help you look your best and of course a full service medical office too. It's always nice to have this in an all-inclusive shopping mall. It's your one stop shop / eating place whenever you hit up Kapolei. While there's no Thai place inside the shopping center, they have Vietnamese here at Pho 808. It's pretty awesome! 4.0 stars for sure. Support local!B+
