Family Pack is the way to go!Instead of ordering 4 plates you get to eat a variety of choices/ vegetables & rice.Great with children.You need to order more rice if needed. I just went with 2 choices of vegetables. Macaroni Salad & Cucumber Kim Chee ( Best )

Kapolei BBQ is up in the top 10% of the Korean restaurants on Oahu. Locally owned and operated, service is fast friendly and accommodating. Lots of parking in a private parking lot. Small dining room, very clean and well lit. My favorite is the prepared cabbage Bun Chong. In my opinion the best on the island. Food is expertly prepared and delicious. A definite must visit to satisfy your Korean food cravings.

Came here cause Gina's is closed on a Monday. This takeout place has some tables to sit on but one side of the tables and chairs were all occupied with boxes and supplies.I came here surprised with how tasty the meat Jun was. The spicy pork was also flavorful but I was disappointed they don't wrap it in foil since all the spicy pork sauce went into my meat Jun and my potato. I asked for no rice and got 5 sides with my combo plate. The banchan were good but nothing special. The wait was over 15 minutes for my food, so I was starving waiting. A phone order was taken right before me so I had to wait for the phone order before I got mine even though I ate inside and was waiting. Overall, I'd come back and would eat here again. However, it's not my first pick of Korean food in kapolei.

Tried this place out because someone on instagram claimed that the meat Jhun was better than Young's Kalbee. So I had to try it out. And verdict is not true. Far from it. Young's is my GO TO of for their meat Jhun/chicken Katsu combo. Price is just as pricey but flavor isn't there. Bbq chicken had some flavor but it was dry. As for the bon chan, seaweed wasn't as juicy, but the creamy potatoes were really good. Meat jhun just tasted like unseasoned meat w eggs. Seoul fries were the most decent price IMO at about $11 ish dollars. And it was tasty. It was kinda sweet w the sauce but the lunches and fries balanced it out. As for the environment, parking is hard in this poorly designed parking lot and I felt I had to wait a little longer than the fair amount for my food even when there was just one family dining in there but in all fairness, I had ordered 3 plates.

Our family comes here for good Korean food. My kids like their kalbi and I'm always happy with their Bi Bim Bap. Whenever I feel like I'm getting a cold or feeling under the weather, I get their seaweed soup. Yum!

Squash jun plate has a generous portion of battered and fried zucchini slices, tender and juicy! Add in the sides and it's a very veggie-heavy meal. Really like being able to order and pay on the website so I can just swing by and pick it up. Parking lot at that end is always jammed at lunchtime.

Kapolei Korean is where I when I'm in a rush to grab a quick lunch . Pricing is average for Korean food . I'm picky when it comes to Korean food , I like when it's authentic & they give a lot foryour money .

We both ate all of our orders. The prices are less than in Mililani.Although the mandoo soup was a bit salty, it satisfied my need for hot soup. It was temperature hot which I appreciated.The mandoo dumplings were generous. I kept finding more in the bowl and didn't break apart. The noodles were cooked perfectly too.I'm pretty picky about some veggies in my food but I ate it all here.Good to know that this place is here. Not fancy but just watching the fresh ban Chan being brought out, maybe I'll try a plate next time.

Pretty dreadful ambiance with restaurant supply boxes stacked up where seating and tables are in the 'dining room'....this place is definitely just for take out as no one would want to eat in such a stark and unappealing environment.Food matched the setting with pork being tough and dry and accompaniments right outta a buffet trough.Would NOT return.

Love the meat Jun! First time there the portion was not all that, but the meat jun was the highlight for me.
