I recently established a health care provider to Kelsey Tanioka. I went almost my whole life without a provider until my health began deteriorating with age lol but I really like her and her nurse, sorry I didn't get her name, I catch it with my next visit hopefully but Kelsey is very thorough but quick with exams which I like, she gets straight to the point and listens to your issues and my nurse that drew my blood for a test got it in one shot! I'm so thankful cause I hate getting a blood drawn and having to get poked many times till they find the vein. They're very professional. The office staff was nice and greeting I have no idea why there's so many negative reviews? 10/10 recommend this clinic!

I come here quite often and I've been here for years. This place has had ALOT of turn overs. Which in my eyes is NOT a very good sign to begin with. Anyhow, I came in for an appt. and I was called in by JENNIFER HALEMANO, she wasn't friendly at all. She gives you the kind of vibes like she's there because she has to be and she just wants this work day to be over. I feel people in the medical field should be in the medical field to HELP people. Your dealing with people that are not feeling well, ill, maybe dealing with life threatening symptoms or the beginning of deadly symptoms. Wouldn't you be nice to them, greet them with a friendly smile or GREET them at all?! I mean I work at a dental office, because I want to help people have good oral hygiene. I'm just saying.. Anyhow back to my visit.. she took me in. She took my vitals and showed me my room. she just did not seem happy there. After seeing the doctor, I needed to do some blood testing. Jennifer came in to withdrawal my blood and let me tell you it was NOT a pleasant procedure. First she touched ALL my supplies she needed with her bare hands without washing them first. After setting up she washed her hands and put on gloves. She wiped the are of my arm where she was going to insert the needle with the alcohol wipe tried to feel for my vein (in which I have really good veins, I don't need to squeeze anything to make my veins visible) ripped off the tip of her glove finger exposing her finger and rubbing my arm again, trying to see where she was going to poke me. I usually close my eyes cause I don't like to see the needle being inserted in my arm, so closed my eyes before she poked me. As she inserted the needle I jumped and opened my eyes because it felt like she was inserting the needle on the side of my arm instead of the inside part where my elbow bends. I kept telling her that it really hurts and why does it feel like she poking me on the side of my arm. And it was a sharp shocking kind of pain. She ignored my concerns and continued to search for my veins since she didn't have blood flowing. She asked me if she could PROBE around?? I was like what??! I told her it hurts as she continued to poke the needle in and out looking for a vein. Until finally after moving the needle from north to east and then lifting the needle upwards and finally blood started to flow. I literally started to cry. She showed no remorse or concern on how I felt. When it FINALLy was over. She told me to just hold the piece of gauze over the area of where the needle was inserted at. I tried to lift my arm off the bed and it hurt. When she left I told my doctor Christina and she told me to just ice it and to take ibuprofen if it has pain. It is now 3 days later and I can't put my arm straight down without it having pain or a shock of pain shooting up and down my arm. I am most definitely NEVER going to her again! I will be going to the E.R to see what's going on with my arm.I do not recommend JENNIFER HALEMANO to EVER be my assistant nurse or whatever they are called. I'm sorry but my health and treatment is my main concern. I don't feel like I was treated right AT ALL.

The two star is because they have pretty good Drs and good nurses. But the office staff wow I just cannot believe how they get away with being so rude!!! Absolutely horrible staff!!! Words cannot even describe the lack of customer service! This needs to be addressed!!!I have been yelled at by an office staff member in front of all the patients.I've been told many times I have to wait months for an appointment.I've been put on hold for 10-20min and no one comes back to the phone. There have been numerous incidents that I can go on about.I am now forced to change drs just because of the office staff!!! Please who ever is in charge do not let them get away with treating patients this way!

If I could rate with no stars I would. I come here because of the convenience. But it's honestly not worth it. The front staff are so rude and sassy!! The receptionist JEN especially. So much attitude. No customer service at all. And some of them don't even know what the hell they're talking about. And as for the doctors. They're hardly around. They have the assistants do everything. Wouldn't recommend here!!

Kapolei ClinicI dread going to the doctors (specially at my age) but such good people in this clinic, they immediately welcomed me with such professionalism and care. Ive been neglecting my health for five years; so, I was very nervous about getting a physical. These ladies put me at ease immediately.Alice Chang a Nurse Practitioner took the time to ask me all about my physical problems - she took many notes and diagnosed me perfectly! Ms. Chang was a better Doctor then some MDs I know! I highly recommend her!I went back two weeks later for my Women's Wellness checkup, I was seen this time by Pat McKenzie, she went beyond her call to duty! What a jewel of a doctor, caring and gentle. I felt as we were two good old friends catching up, WOW! I love her!The lobby is full of people always - Don't let that scare you! the front office personnel knows what to do - immediately they directed us and moved us to the doctors' rooms.I thank God for good people as such.

Try to get an early appointment as later in the day the wait time is one hour. To get to the clinic, after taking the H1 Kapolei/Makakilo exit, turn right onto Farrington Hwy. Stay in your left lane and turn left at the next stop light (you will see Jack in the Box on the corner and a gas station on the other). Follow the road to the end. The parking lot is for both Kaiser, Queens Medical and the Kapolei Healthcare Center. Because the adult and children clinic check in is in the same waiting room...bring ear plugs. Lol. It can get a little noisy with the kids crying or screaming.

I received care from Dr. Berg, his staff, and receptionist Leah for a sports injury. Although his team was friendly and genuinely meant well, unfortunately I found the clinic staff to be overall incompetent and unreliable.Things regularly slipped through the crack so I had to proactively follow up (WEEKS at a time) with the clinic's staff to receive things like referrals for MRI's, approval for physical therapy, and get my medical bills corrected. I don't recommend Kapolei Healthcare Clinic.

Today I came in as a walk in and already the ladies at the front desk were taking their sweet time. Finally after standing there for 5 min watching the lady at her desk wiping down her chair ( which by the way was disgusting) she finally assisted me. I came in to the walk in clinic because I'm pregnant and I'm spotting, so I was very concerned. They finally called me in, took a pregnancy test and then they asked me to wait back outside in the waiting room. They called me in again showed me my room and then a lady walked in not even introducing herself (She was wearing a denim dress with dr. Coat over, and had tons and tons of makeup) and I couldn't see a badge with her name on it. She automatically said "I don't know what you want me to do for you today, I don't have the proper equipment needed to even check you out." I was so caught off guard! I mean her attitude sucked! Then she begins to say, "Why don't you just go to Queens west, they have everything you need there." I calmly gathered myself together and thanked her for her time and walked out. And that was that. I always come here and never have I ever been treated like this. Never coming here again, it's like my life and their job wasn't important to them.
