If you're ever in Oahu, this is a great spot for Golfing and then having a bite to ear afterwards. Gorgeous location and the food was yummy! I had my usual California Benedict and it was so good! We also ordered their famous pancakes and the cream that they put on top was amazing! The service was a bit slow, but we were on Hawaii time so who cares! There were two large parties, so sometimes it would be great to maybe make a reservation in advance. We didn't have one, but came in and got seated right away. It would be a great spot for an event. I would definitely return to get that huge pancake to share again.

I recently dined at Kapolei Golf Club Restaurant, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! Nestled amidst the serene greens of the golf course, the restaurant offers a relaxing ambiance with a warm, welcoming vibe that's perfect for a meal after a round of golf or just a casual outing. We tried a variety of dishes, and every single one was outstanding: Okonomiyaki Fries: This was a standout! Crispy fries topped with a savory okonomiyaki-inspired sauce, a drizzle of mayo, and bonito flakes that added a smoky touch. Each bite was a burst of umami goodness.Kimchee Fried Rice: Packed with flavor and the perfect balance of heat and tanginess from the kimchee. It was hearty and satisfying, with just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting.KGC Burger: Juicy and perfectly cooked, this burger was an absolute treat. The patty was well-seasoned, and the toppings added a great blend of textures and flavors. The toasted bun tied it all together beautifully.Fried Calamari: Lightly breaded and fried to perfection, the calamari was tender and not overly greasy. The accompanying dipping sauce was a great complement, elevating the dish even further.Caesar Salad: A classic done right! Crisp romaine, a tangy and creamy dressing, and just the right amount of Parmesan and croutons made this a refreshing addition to our meal.Pupu Prime Pub Steak: This dish was phenomenal. The steak was cooked to perfection--tender, juicy, and seasoned impeccably. The portion was generous and made for a satisfying shared plate. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The setting is gorgeous, with views of the golf course that create a peaceful and inviting backdrop. Whether you're seated indoors or on the patio, you'll enjoy a relaxed and casual dining experience.Overall, Kapolei Golf Club Restaurant exceeded our expectations. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and beautiful surroundings makes it a must-visit. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend!

Chef Ellis is doing a great job with the menu! The truffle french fries are fantastic and the truffle aioli dip to match. I had a truffle parmesan chicken dish, which was very good. My wife had the fried rice with kim chee. That was also very good. The views of the golf course are fantastic, and the food pricing is reasonable. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it.

Fairly disappointed in our experience dining in at this restaurant. The reservation process was seamless. Booked through yelp 2 days in advance for a party of 4 adults + a toddler. We were seated right away and greeted by our server quickly after. Our waters were filled and our drink orders were taken & brought to the table instantly. Upon waiting for other family members to gather their buffet items, I requested for a high chair & our server never returned. Things went pretty down hill from here on out. We had to obtain our own high chair from the corner/side of the room - our server did notice it but did not apologize or acknowledge that we had to get it on our own - no problem sometimes people forget. While eating, NONE of our plates were cleared for the past 50 minutes. Please be advised, every check regardless of party size, you are REQUIRED to pay a 18% gratuity charge which we knew of - so of course we expected our service to be top notch. The dining room was half full, so there should be no problem. We sat at table 62 & our server was an older local lady (so I think because I've only encountered her "service" once upon arrival) The service was absolutely HORRIBLE & not worth our gratuity charge. I went up to the hostess and let her know about our situation where we did not have water & our table was filled with dirty dishes - she said she will let our server know. 15 minutes passed and our server was no where to be found. No one refilled our waters, my dad & mom had to walk up to the staff (behind the omelette station & Temaki roll bar) with our dirty plates to hand to the workers so our table could be cleared for more food. No apologies, servers willingly took it and asked my dad "is there any more plates you guys get?" After this incident, a server (woman with a red dragon tattoo behind her left ear) came to refill our waters & another young male came to collect the other dishes out of our way once we were done. About 10 minutes after an employee came to our table and said "sorry I was sent here, what could I do for you", we requested the bill - it was given very quickly. He told us to take our time and walked away before we could place the card in to have it be charged. Another 30 minutes passed by after talking (we did put the tab with the card sticking out at the edge of the table) and decided to take manners in our own hands and bring it up to the host stand. The manager or a gentleman who was wearing a blue collard shirt took our tab and ran it & did not acknowledge us at all. It was such an awful experience - so please don't look over the bad reviews regarding serviceIf this yelp review was strictly based on food, it is absolutely worth the price of $47 for brunch. We went to brunch this past Sunday, March 17th, 2024 & it was barely busy with a reservation at 10:45 AM for a party of 4 adults+ a toddler. Fresh ahi, salmon, and hamachi + an amazing temaki roll bar. My favorite would be the spicy ahi temaki and spicy hamachi temaki. Mochi waffle was so yummy and you could not go wrong with either the matcha or strawberry whipped topping. This is buffet style so totally worth the quality and variety of food presented at this buffet. Do not skip the misoyaki butterfish either! Your traditional bacon & eggs were also present in the buffet! The location is absolutely beautiful, nice view of the golf course and so spacious to hold conversations that are pretty intimate with family members without being disrupted by other loud individuals. The service was truly a disappointment and despite being an amazing buffet, I do not think I will be back anytime soon. Not only do we pay for a 18% gratuity & I am totally all for tipping our servers, this was not held to the expectation of the required gratuity. There was a lot of neglect to customer service and hospitality, it's shameful. This is our 3rd time with horrible customer service & it led me to writing this negative review.

Was surprised when we arrived there were no other guests there but shortly after they started to file in. Was very pleased with the variety of options and freshness of the items. Staff was very friendly and made sure to take care of refills and such. Would definitely return

Great food, and not many people. Server was really nice! Great view out the back overlooking the golf course as well, but by far the best thing, as a Hell's Kitchen fanatic, I got to meet Meghan from the latest season of Hell's Kitchen, as she is the executive chef here. (pictures below) Highly recommend!!

This was my second time coming here and the food was great! We had the same waiter from our first time coming and she remembered us and what we ordered, I love that type of service. This time I got the soba and been craving it for a while and loved it! My girlfriend got the fried rice and it was huge portion and only could eat half. My girlfriend and I shared a stack of blueberry pancakes together and that hit the spot for us. Just the whole scenery was beautiful. Definitely coming back.

Excellent Sunday breakfast buffet with all my food favorites Misoyaki Butterfish, Sushi Bar, Egg & Omelet station, Shrimp Tempura, Kalbi Short Ribs, and much more ... more than I can eat after several servings. Great price of $40 for Seniors (tho' beware of the automatic 20% Gratuity added on). Good for larger groups too. Service were attentive too.
