The simple bow
One of our targets. Hard to see, but there's supposed to be a bulls eye drawn where the heart would be.
A beautiful sunset from Pu'uokapolei.
Welcome sign.
My first bulls eye on the orange tape.
A beautiful place to just relax and enjoy the view Pu'uokapolei.
The bow rack.
First of the 3D targets.

Sooooo much better than Hawaii Kai! Well maintained. Most of people there are friendly. Be aware lots of professional & competition shooters practice here. There is a nice little workshop you can work on your bow & arrows under shade. The shade & bow rests are very nice.

The location is reliable. They have targets ranging from 10 yards to 60 yards, which can be used for practicing or zeroing, and they have over 30 3D targets. The location is cool because it used to be an army aha. To shoot all of the targets that were spread out around the course took more than an hour. The people who are a part of the club are very warm and welcoming. Even if they don't know you, the members of the bushwackers club will almost always go out of their way to assist a fellow archer in need. In general, it was a wonderful experience. Another of Hawaii's hidden treasures can be found here.

Surprised there isn't many reviews for this place. Came here with my girlfriend around 0930. Signed a release notice and was told the class would be $10 cash. To be honest, I didn't even know it was a class. I thought they would give us bows and let us go. Instead the instructors taught us the basics of the bow and how it's a weapon first. They taught us bow safety, stance and everything in between on how to improve our shot. We moved around to different targets and tried different target sizes and elevations. My girlfriend is right handed and was having a hard time shooting with her right hand. The instructor was so keen that he noticed my girlfriend was predominantly using her left eye and suggested using a left handed bow. When she tried again with the lefty, she greatly improved her accuracy. That was really impressive. These instructors are very passionate about archery and will teach anybody who's willing to learn. Even the enthusiasts who come to practice are very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new.

We were referred to Bushwackers Archery Club by Daniel from The Island Archer. My wife, and 13 year old daughter signed up for a class on Saturday. The class is $10 per person and includes the use of the bows. We met Willie who was really friendly and made us feel welcomed. Our instructor was Ben who gave us expert instruction and was super friendly. This was a great experience and made for a great surprise birthday present for my wife. We got to use the indoor range to get the hang of using either compound bows or a recurve. We also got to do some targets outside.Mahalo Ben, Willie and Bushwackers Archery Club!

Place is legit. They have 10 yard to 60 yard targets for zeroing or just practice and the have over 30 3D targets. The place is an old army aha which is cool. It took over an hour to shoot all the targets around the course. The club members are super nice and friendly. Almost anyone there at the bushwackers club is willing to help another archer out even if they don't know you. My kids and wife had fun shooting at the 3D targets, overall it was a great experience. Another one of Hawaii's tucked away gems.
