Stopped by around 10am on a Saturday. Parking is a little tight but we were able to snag the last open spot. Greeted & seated immediately. Drink orders taken & served quickly. Places our orders & holy buckets! Good came out fast! Chose the chocolate Haupia waffle special (sweet but delicious & nice crispy Belgian waffle!), 1/2 order Eggs Benedict with house potatoes (egg was cooked perfectly), strawberry crepes (tasty but maybe a little too much cinnamon for my liking) & Bone-In ham with eggs. Super friendly service. Smiling staff. Clean. Short tables & long tables. By the time we walked out there was a good line of people waiting.

I love coming here! My parents wanted to have a simple lunch and I said we should come back here. It's very down to earth and a hidden gem. Although, some tourists do find it. The parking lot can be a challenge but if you go at the right time, there's spaces. My dad had a cheeseburger and my mom had a hamburger. Both with a small side salad. My mom said they need to check their lettuce, cause the pieces on hers were brown on the edges. I looked at the specials board and ordered the biscuits and gravy, with two eggs scrambled and a side of cornbeef hash.Me: Can you put it all on the same plate and pour gravy all over it?She: I'll have to charge you extraWho cares! It was soooooooo ONOOOOOOO! I would've licked the plate if I wasn't in public! The staff is really friendly and it's got a very laid back atmosphere. Mahalo KPH

Food tasted good, came to the table warm & coffee was good. Prices are very reasonable and NOT inflated. Other special menu items looked good to try, maybe on another visit:-Roast pork loco moco-Sausage gravy & biscuits -Monte Cristo sandwich -1/2 Monte Cristo and soup A small breakfast & lunch local restaurant located off the side of Kahuhipa St, shares a parking lot with Napa auto parts.I think it was worth our time to explore another breakfast spot. Go try um' & support lical business

Great ambience. The service was fast and friendly! The food was delicious! I got the usual fried rice, eggs, and Portuguese sausage and my daughter got chocolate pancakes! Try to go early because it gets really busy!

Food was pretty good. Little pricy for a small pancake house. The macnut was just okay and well I guess I was expecting a little more. Service was pretty good. People were nice but .... Yeah wasnt super impressed.

Caught sight of this place after eating at Pan's Kitchen months ago and finally got a chance to try it out.Once entering, my husband and I were immediately greeted and seated with a clean booth and menus already set in place. Auntie then came to get our drink orders and gave us some extra time to pick out what we wanted to eat.I was torn between the KTown Loco Moco and the Vinha D'Alhos, but ultimately chose the loco moco with fried rice to be on the safe side. My husband wanted the NY steak & Eggs but chose the crab cake benedict with fried rice instead of country potatoes. That first bite of my husband's benedict was nostalgic! It reminded me of this little bistro we use to frequent back home in The Bay Area and it was a nice little remembrance. My Loco Moco with Fried rice though, that too were amazing spoonfuls of comfort. The plate itself was able to keep me full the entire rest of the day! Can't wait until the next time we come and bring the kids to enjoy this gem too!

Soooo this is between a four and a five star so we'll go five star just because it's my brother's go-to breakfast place. The food is good. The service is excellent. The parking sucks but everyone else has covered that fairly well. There aren't as many seats inside as I remember Koa having but it's been a long time so I may be remembering incorrectly. The pictures showed what my brother ordered - kal bi short ribs is my guess? - and he devoured them. I had fried rice and eggs and had to try the ube pancakes. They were pretty and tasted like pancakes but I can't say it was oozing with ube flavor. I hope this pancake house stays open for a long, long time.

The child loved this place. A variety of interesting and tropical drizzles like guava, pineapple, coconut and not just plain maple syrup. Friendly staff, huge portions. Your usual diner look and feel.

I'd say this place is more of a 3.9 to me but rounding up because everyone there was genuinely so friendly and nice. I really loved the pancakes I got, very fluffy. The eggs and bacon were less than great. My friend said she enjoyed her loco moco though. Also the cushions on the bench seating were very cracked it made sitting on them uncomfortable while wearing shorts.

Our ohana was jonesing for a great breakfast after church. You can't go wrong at this place. Always new and creative specials and the best local classics. Just wish the parking was better but you just gotta go early. Love the food and friendly service. We love this place
