"...the Kam Shopping Center in Kalihi..." was a catchy, popular jingle on TV for Kenny's Restaurant (which is now Kam Bowl). My family and I used to come here once in a while for dinner at Kenny's - and ice cream at Baskin-Robbins because my dad had a sweet tooth!A few years ago, I was invited to dinner at Liu's Chop Suey. It was a crowded graduation party with good food!My mom and I went to Teishoku Restaurant when they opened. It was a yummy experience!Recently, I was intrigued by the Kamehameha Shopping Center's Spin the Wheel Contest. I didn't participate in the past because I didn't know the rules. Now I do:The week before the holiday - in this case, Mother's Day - customers can get a ticket for a purchase of a minimum of $50 from at least two stores of different categories. For example, buy supplies at Longs and get a snack at Honu Bakery. Another way to get tickets for a Spin is with a purchase of $100 or more. I got three tickets for buying groceries at Times Supermarket and getting takeout from Liu's Chop Suey.I showed my receipts to the helpful young lady at the table in front of Times Supermarket. She explained all of the requirements and reminded me to return on Saturday with my tickets to Spin the Wheel. Ooh... The excitement... It must be because I haven't been to Las Vegas in over a year... LOL!Anyway, this Contest is a great service for all of the businesses at Kam Shopping Center! I walked around the entire complex and realized that there are three entrances at this square-shaped Center. I have never parked upstairs, but I will keep it in mind when it's really busy.Overall, this is a convenient one-stop place for clothing, coffee, fast food, groceries, snacks, meals, phone services, necessities, entertainment (Fun Factory and Game Stop) and banking. Kalihi residents are really lucky!

Very convenient for anybody living in or around the Kalihi area. Times, Longs Drugs, L&L, Jeans Warehouse, GNC, Panda Express, and other stores can be found at this shopping center.

One word to describe this place= LOCALLocated in the heart of Kalihi and at the foot of Kamehameha Schools, you'll find a local shopping center named Kamehameha Shopping Center. A convenient center that provides majority shopping chores at one stop, you'll find among other retailers, Long's Drugs (CVS), Times Supermarket, T Mobile, Verizon, Starbucks and many more.Vehicle entrance to the Center is from School Street (North) or Kapalama Street. (NOTE: entering the Center from School Street, do NOT attempt a left turn if you are headed east! Go to the stop light and turn left then enter the center from the Makuahine Street entrance)Convenience will make me stop here as it is enroute to/fr my residence. I like the idea that I can do my grocery and miscellaneous goods shopping in one stop (Longs Drugs and Times Supermarket). American Savings, Territorial Savings, Hawaii National Bank and Kamehameha Federal Credit Union are the financial institutions located at the center.Verizon and TMobile/Sprint are the mobile phone companies located at the center.Many eateries to be found but one place will stand out; it is Kam Bowl. It stands out because it used to be Kenny's Burger House, an old time local eatery. As the founding fathers of Kenny's retired so did it's restaurant. Kam Bowl used to be located in the Kam Bowling Alley formerly located across the street (Makuahine Street side now Walgreens) took the Kenny's spot. Kam Shopping Center is a great place to shop at if you're in the area. Parking plentiful (just be careful getting in and out), hours of operation is mall "standard" 9am to 9 pm, drug stores, supermarkets and more!

Use to spend a lot of time here in high school. Can get groceries at any time and plate lunches from a few restaurants

Your neighborhood retail center! Location is central to many residents in the Kalihi area. This place can most likely help run your errands. I'm talking cellphone service, grocery, a ton of eateries, specialty food shops, 3+banks, hair and nail service and even clothing. Parking can be a little tricky, with several entrances into the center, a few one-way lanes and small stalls. This place is located on the corner of Likelike Hwy and School St. There are variety of shops and some restaurants in the area. Plenty of parking around.

Whoever answered the phone in customer service at Times Supermarket today, needs to work on their attitude and tone of their voice. I understand it can get busy and stressful but don't let the customer hear it in your voice. It came out downright rude and annoyed. Not the type of person you want answering the phone and representing the store. She sounded, what's the word for it? BITCHY!!

They were nice enough to comp our French fries bc we did not have enough but they gave us the fries anyway thank you mcdonalds kam shopping center.

I was so hungry didn't eat all day. When we got there drive thru & dine in had just closed due to their delivery truck. But luckily they were so kind to let us & several other customers order thru the drive thru. & to make my night, we didn't have enough for the fries but we were blessed to have gotten it anyways! Thank you so much mc'd'Z "I'm loving it"!!!!!

It's very disheartening to know that all the shops here does not have a public restroom. They have only for their employees. I find that offensive as I have a young child who need the restroom. I went to times, Jamba Juice even Starbucks but they al said it's only for employees. The only one said yes was McDonald's so for that I give props and 1 star. Thank you McDonald's for taking care of the patrons..
