Kama'aina Catering & Tent Rentals

I used this company for a school event (prom). We were overcharged by over $700 due to a clerical error and although it might not seem like a whole lot, it is students' money that funded the event and this takes away from them. I have called and was told to email them, which I did twice and still no reply. It is my hope thar this can be resolved.

They gave me schedule on the time they would show up, they were right on schedule, set everything nicely, took extra care on where to set up the text, careful as to not wanting to damage anything in our yard. Made my special day memorable.

Yuck.. This food does not look like its pictures. Rice is moosh.. Omg .. Its like they dont care about our food

Brian helped us with our son's wedding nearly 2 weeks ago at lanikuhonua and provided almost all, food, tents, bar. Etc. Everything was totally beautiful and created such a memorable day. The Hawaiian food was outstanding and received many compliments throughout the evening fromOur guests. Brian is so easy to work with and Knowledgeable, making sure everything we needed was just perfect! Although we were super stressed with all the planning, he was able to work closely with us on details and made us feel confident it would all turn out as expected. Brian and his team are fabulous to work with! They are always professional and offer great advice in planning any type of menu for any occasion! Brian catered our wedding at paradise cove and it was amazing! The team was on time and the food was superb! It looked great and most importantly the food was very good and tasty! They were all in uniform and looked amazing! Brian also catered our daughters sweet 16 birthday party! The food was hot, tasty and looked great! He does a fabulous job and is willing to work with you on making the event superb! We highly recommend Brian and his team for all of your catering needs no matter how big or small. I used Kama'aina Catering for our wedding in Honolulu. It was wonderful working with Herb and the team. Our wedding was even more complex because I was planning everything from the mainland. Kama'aina Catering assisted me in the planning process from my first consultation (ensuring that all our unique requests were filled!) through the day of execution. I could not have asked for a better support team. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.The service was excellent, the food was delicious and I loved the support we received from day one. As a stressed out bride, it was great to have our catering be the one thing I didn't need to worry about. Love the services they provided for our Rededication Ceremony of Hale Kuha'o. Brian Wada did an excellent job in providing me everything I had wanted. The men came early to set up the tents, table and chairs. The food they catered was excellent. The men stayed to set up the food table and serve and then break down when the service was pau. I highly recommend this company and plan on hiring them for future events of mine and my agency.

I had a week long Catering (Lunch) Event at our Snack Shop (D's Snak Shak) on Ford Island (Pearl Harbor). We named it appropriately, "KAMA'INA CATERING week". On the Menu this Aloha Friday was: Kalua Pig & Cabbage, Korean Style (Kalbi) Short Ribs, Steamed Rice, Potato Salad, Tossed Salad, and Steamed Veggies. If any of you ever need any Catering done, see Brian Wada, Aunty Karen and Staff @ Kama'aina Catering (in Waipahu). AWESOME job, nothing but POSITIVE reviews ALL week long! The Men and Women that serve our Country loved everything, and looked forward to Lunch every day of the week. ONO, ONO-licious grinds!!!

Kama'aina Catering provided services for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's graduation (2017 & 2018). Brian and the staff are professional, accommodating, very friendly and down to earth. They are flexible with menu selection and offer reasonable prices. The set-up is nice and the food is delicious. They come highly recommended. Oh, by the way, the plantation tea is super ONO!!!
