Hav tried to leave Körner at two separate regattas and both times they've been fabulous. Great food, large portions, at a great price with friendly circles. Wish they had a permanent location. Everybody loves. The lady that runs it knows her prices and food are good, but chooses to stay local. Mahalo for dat!

Ordered Roasted Pork from here at Kakaako Farmers Market. They offer many comfort foods such as Portuguese bean soup and meatloaf etc . They sell both lunch plates and ala carte. The plate comes with white rice and generous portion of fresh green salad. The plate was only $14. Auntie May is so sweet and so much fun to talk with. Thank you very much for your hearty meal!

I have been coming to Kalhi Corner for a few years now, often seeing Auntie May or one of her children at Pearlridge or Kaka'ako Farmers Markets. I saw her today and noticed Kalihi Corner was not on yelp and I had to tell the community about Auntie May and her delicious food. May & her kids work hard and they are the sweetest people and obviously love what they do, sell good food. One taste and you can tell this local comfort food is made with attention to detail and love.I have tried just about everything Auntie May makes and I have never been disappointed. This is true local comfort food for me, New York Steak and Guacamole & Crabmeat, Salmon, Okinawan Shoyu Pork or Shoyu Chicken, Short Ribs Osso Bucco are all excellent. Plate lunches come with rice and tossed salad and usually cost between $10 and $12. The price is great for the quality and amount of food you get.Auntie May also provides catering services, just let her know what you want and she will take care of it for you. Come meet Auntie May and her family and try what she is cooking up, you won't be disappointed.

I tried their Osso Bucco today. It's technically not this dish unless you use the beef bone with actual bone marrow. It was ok, the quantity was average. Overall you can find better.

I've passed by this tent a few times at the kakaako farmers market, and finally decided to stop by and try it. I've tried the shoyu pork with veggies (radish and carrots), clam chowder, and sea bass stuffed with spinach and cream. My favorite dish by far is her clam chowder. She uses big clams and big potatoes. The chowder is creamy and yummy. I finished the entire cup in 5 mins. The shoyu pork is good too. All of the dishes felt like it was cooked from home with love. Definitely give them a try next time you are at the farmers market.

Today I was back at the market. They did not do the short ribs today so I tried their cabbage roll and oxtail soup. The oxtail in the soup was tender but a bit lack of taste. I guess that is ok it is served as a "soup" so the meat can pass being a little bland. The turnips were great though. The ingredients were ample there were two chunks of oxtails, lots of turnips, mushrooms, and they added seaweed and cilantro on the soup to give it more complexity. Along with the soup this is served with a box of white rice. certainly enough for one person for lunch or dinner. I would give this dish a 4-star.On the cabbage roll - basically cabbage wrapped around a meatloaf/ground meat, this failed. The meatloaf inside the cabbage was pretty tasteless, and worse of all, there were tiny pieces of bones in them. Not one but 4 pieces I encountered (gave half of the loaf to my housemate and warned her). This can be dangerous if I had taken hard bites at it - could have cracked a tooth. Not sure if they had ground their own meat or bought with the bones in it, but either way this is not acceptable.Having written a 5-star review for their short ribs, this only gets a 3 because of the food hazard.

Best kept secret at Kaka'ako Farmers Market! Gourmet dishes at very reasonable prices ($10 with salad and rice) and the items vary every week. This is what I come to the market for, always looking forward to the pleasant surprises of new dishes.
