Kalena's Polynesian 'Ohana

They were amazing. We booked them for our small wedding of 50 people and they were outstanding. Music dancing & fire ! Oh my definitely hire these guys & gals for a great memory especially if you have a lot of out of town guests new to the islands

The Kalena Ohana danced at my son's wedding at Kualoa Ranch. The dancing was so entertaining. All of the guests raved about the dancing, crowd volunteer dancing, and especially the fire dancing. Music was great, musicians were great, and the dancing was great. If you want to really entertain your out of state guests this company is a must.

We hired Kalena's Polynesian Ohana group to be entertainment at a private luau we threw for a birthday party at a rental house in Haleiwa. I didn't really have any idea what to expect for a private luau and I was very happy with the performance. It included a few female hula dancers, a male fire dancer, one MC and one musician. The audience participation was just the right amount, and nobody felt put on the spot. The MC was enthusiatic and personable and did a nice job honoring the birthday woman.Because rain is common on the North Shore, they were well prepared and brought a tent for the MC and musician.The show was maybe 30 minutes and I would definitely recommend them for a private party. We had a great time!

Wow!!! An amazing show! We connected with Kalena's Polynesian 'Ohana to perform for guests at our wedding reception on 11/11/18. The dancers and musicians were so so so talented! The entertaining commentary was really fun. The entire group from Kalena's Polynesian 'Ohana went above and beyond our expectations! We're blessed and truly grateful to have connected with such affordable and top rate performers!

If you guys want an amazing and entertaining group of wonderful people, you will hire these guys for your event. Isitolo and his entire group literally brought the heat from the north shore to Waianae . He brought up my haole family members from the states and showed them how to dance and everything. The fire dance show was second to none. I've seen tahtian dancers and fire shows before , but this was absolutely incredible ! Thank you guys for making it a night to remember!

Hands down the best entertainers in Oahu!!Isitolo and his family with Kalena's Polynesian Ohana give off such beautiful energy and kindness and our wedding ceremony and time on Oahu would not have been the same if we didn't work with them! Kalena's Polynesian Ohana (KPO) did everything from the live singing during the ceremony, the conch shell blowing before the entrance of the bride, live singing during cocktails and dinner reception, and we surprised our guests with hula and fire dancers, all the way down to the DJ /MC for the entire night. They were beyond beyond beyond impressed, it was absolutely incredible!In the beginning, I got on a call with Isitolo and he helped create a vision to make my day feel magical. Coming from California I didn't know what to do to make it feel special but I knew that I wanted something memorable and an experience for all of our guests flying out. Isitolo and his family went beyond our expectations.During our ceremony they had their band out there and his nephew (who was also an award winning fire dancer) sang during the procession. He had a beautiful voice and sang "Over the Rainbow" to everyone walking down. When it was time for me (bride) to walk down the aisle they had a person with a fire torch and a conch shell walk up and down the aisle to blow the conch shell before my entrance. This helped set the moment and the emotion for everyone. His nephew sang "Can't Help Falling In Love" while I walked down the aisle and I was in tears. This was so special to everyone, I got so much feedback about how beautiful the singing and conch shell moment was that it put everyone in tears. After the ceremony we did the first dance, Kalena's was also our MC and DJ. They introduced us and played all of our selected music perfectly. During the dinner, they also sang live music. It was calming and felt so authentic to Hawaii which helped set the atmosphere for everyone.Then there was the show. They put on a 30 minute show with hula dancers and award winning fire dancers! Our guests were cheering so loud and incredibly enthused by the entertainment. They put on the best show we could ask for, our coordinator even had to mention to us that the performance was probably the best they had seen at a wedding! They included guest participation, one for all the men, one for all the women, and one for the bride and groom and it was hilarious! Isitolo not only has a great singing voice but knows exactly what to say to keep our guests laughing and keeping the celebration fun! It was by far a highlight for all of our guests and created memories we will never forget.The rest of the night they were the MC and DJ and they had everyone on the dance floor and just let the drinks and music do the rest of the work!Hiring Kalena's is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The prices are very competitive and I wouldn't recommend anyone else besides them for your event entertainment! Thank you so much for entertaining our guests and for making us feel like family. We have already said whenever we make it back to the island to always say hello and to stop by and say hi...and order some of their food at Kalena's Hut (their other business).

I had Kalena's Polynesian 'Ohana perform at our wedding and they were amazing! My family and friends who attended our destination wedding in Hawaii had a great time. They loved the dancers and fire dance. They had a great vibe and were awesome. I would definitely recommend them if you need great entertainment for any party. My wedding guests were so surprised that I had hired them. They were able to get our guests to participate in the dances.

They perform at Turtle Bay Resort on Sundays and Wednesdays. They are okay...but if you are thinking of top notch band, dancers, etc. this unfortunately isn't it. The keikis (children) fireknife dancing is impressive for sure! But, you want to see a grown male do this. The music is okay, and the banter by the m.c. is okay, but predictable (the jokes, etc.)All in all they are OK, just not great. So don't expect the luau to be what you would see if you went to one of the others on the island.

We had them for my husbands 70th birthday party at our house on the beach. They are very nice enough to come to the site a week before to see the place to know where they are going to put up the tent to have their music equipments and dancer's changing room and explained to me how it's gonna be. At the party, they brought three pretty dancers and well- skilled fire dancer, and their performance was wonderful. Moreover Kalena boss's talk is lots of fun and to make everybody laugh and have fun. I totally recommend them for your special occasion:)
