Food? High quality and excellent value for the price. My partner had the Breakfast Slider with sausage and added an egg. The biscuit was super fluffy but didn't fall apart when he was gripping it in his paw! There was a lovely slice of tomato that set off the sandwich. I had the Breakfast Bento. It came with a Japanese style scrambled egg. It was delicious! The rice was even more delicious with Aloha Shoyu Sauce and Natalie's Hibachi Hawaiian Sriracha Sauce. I love that they use local products!Service? Excellent! You order at the counter, take your number, find a place to sit, and 10-15 minutes later, your food arrives. We had coffee that we could refill whenever we wanted. I went back up to the counter to ask for real dairy for my coffee. Graciously and with a smile, I was given a tiny pitcher of half and half, and told I could ask for refills. Ambiance? Again, excellent! The seating area was super clean even being open to the outdoors. You could hang out and enjoy your beverage without hassle. The two bathrooms were super clean, too. Don't wait to the last minute because you have to get the code and the bathroom might be occupied.We loved this place! It's walking distance from our most favorite beach in the world so we'll be back often! Mahalo!

While some places may create lovely island vibes with their coastal views, Kalapawai Market gives you a space to sip your coffee near the majestic Ko'olau mountain views. Of course the food, especially all the desserts, and drinks are tasty, too. limited parking but worth it

My friend was right. There's something special about this Kalapawai versus their other locations. Waimanalo is special. Just off the highway is an oasis of good food and friendly service. A big open doorway lets the dining outdoor feel inside. Whether it's bright and sunny or cloudy and wet, when you step inside, you find yourself welcome and comfortable. I loved how there's a lot of open space when you step inside. It's not like some restaurants when tables filled into every corner and walkway. Come for the food. A nice variety of sandwiches and plated meals. Real plates, not paper. Simple but tasty. They bring out your order and clear your table: tip generously. Be patient, parking is limited and they do get busy during lunch.

Stopped for kahlua pork nachos a few days ago. Went back for more. Menu changes daily so we opted for Poke Nachos. Delicious!

Quick, friendly service. The menu has a pretty nice variety of vegetarian/non-vegetarian options, the place is clean and the view is hard to beat, even if it is steps away from Kalanianaole Hwy. Had a breakfast wrap that was just the right size for me, but if you're super hungry, you might want something bigger. One tip: get the breakfast potatoes! Sooooo good!

The service was awesome. I came during a rush but they were still very efficient. They have a decent sized covered seating area where you order at the cashier and then they bring the food to you. I ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich the listed price includes a choice of chips, fries or salad on the side. If you don't want a side it will be $3 less. The sandwich was very tasty with a lot of garlic. I enjoyed the flavor especially with the marinated tomatoes which seem like sun dried tomatoes. Although the flavor was good I did find it to be really oily. I think it was oils are from the pesto but the sandwich would've been more enjoyable if it wasn't as oily.

First time trying this deli, open air with a few parking spaces right in the front of the building. Ordered take out, didn't take very long to make but both sandwiches were good loved the crispy fries and bought some huge chocolate chip cookies but didn't take any pictures.Would definitely come back if in the area again!

I had the namesake burger (kalapawai) and fries. The burger was very filling, and included all the condiments along with the side of fat shorting type French fries. I never had them that thin before but they were actually quite good and had more of a crunch to them. They didn't skimp on the burger meat I was totally full and couldn't even get the last bite down. I like the menu they had a good selection across the board for vegetarian all the way up to meat eaters choices.

went here for the first time a couple months ago. food was just ok, and some of the worst service I've ever experienced. We were the only table in the restaurant and we ignored forever. I know island time at all but still, ridiculous. I had to get up and physically walk to the waiter to get any sort of service. this was a one and done for us.
