The BEST The BEST place to stay in north shore Hawaii !!!!!We stayed there for 8 days this place is amazing The roomed are so cool with lots of options.You have a full kitchen with every thing you'll ever need.You get to meet great people from all over the world we enjoyed every second hanging out :) Kalani is super clean great location and a beautiful looking place to stay in.The owner Bernie is an incredible host incredible person super attentive to all your needs and a mountain of knowledge you will get to the smallest detail all the best recommendation and how to get there in Hawaii it was very very helpful !!!Thank you for one of the best vacation I ever had Definitely will come visit again

What a wonderful little oasis in Oahu. We probably never would have found this place if it wasn't for our daughter Amanda who just happens to work here. She discovered this place 2 years ago & as she said to me then- "Mom, it's YOUR standard of clean" & it IS. All the comforts of home, except you're a guest! Warm (not temp lol) & cozy & beautifully decorated (photos do not do it justice). We have our own private outdoor space & the lanai for ALL guests is magnificent. HIGHLY recommended & we'll DEFINITELY be back

Everything about my stay at Kalani was amazing. I stayed in a shared dorm room, the cheapest option. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was able to keep my belongings out, unlocked (although I had the option of a free lock) without worrying of their safety. While I was there, guests ranged from families (staying in private rooms) and young (20s-30yr olds) travelers. The layout is conducive to meeting people but also allows the option of privacy. The location is great! The actual property feels very private; secluded by trees, plants and the ridge. The beach across the street is uncrowded and beautiful. It is also a short walk or drive to other more popular beach destinations, hikes, food trucks and the town. The owner of the property really completes the ease of the stay. He is very knowledgeable about the entire island and will give you great recommendations. I quickly felt as though I was a local, knowing all the secrets. My stay at Kalani allowed me to feel adventurous while still providing me a sense of security and ease that is sometimes lost when staying in hostels. My North Shore Hawaii experience was made perfect because of my Kalani accommodations. I recommend any visitor stay here!

Me and my friend got a recommendation from a girl in the HI Honolulu. And we were lucky to get a room. And it was the best decision we could have made.As it was our first time traveling to O'ahu we wanted the real hawaiian experience and soon had enough of the touristic sights in waikiki. So Kalani Hawaii Private Lodging gave as the prefered location and scenery change.The rooms were cleaned daily and really beautiful. The dormstyle rooms are a great option if you are traveling on a smaller budget. And OMG those outdoor showers are just fabulous. What can be better to spend a day on the beautiful beaches right across the street and to finish of with a hot shower looking at palm trees ?!the whole property and facilities were clean and well looked after. And thus we would come there back anytime! We are really happy and glad we found this place!

Best shared living type environment you could ever dream of. Felt like I was staying at a five star resort and even better because you will meet cool people. Bernie and Maria ( the owners ) are some of the best people you'll ever meet in life . If your visiting Oahu def spend most of your time here. Five minute walk to two of the most famous surfing spots in the world!!! Could not possibly be happier with my stay.

Perfect weekend away at Kalani Hawaii - great location, great facilities, great rooms and good vibes. The place was super clean, and Bernie the host was a wealth of knowledge and super helpful. It is just across the road from Sunset Beach. We will be back for more

This place is great not only for the location which is rightin front of Rocky point, but the owner Bernie is a complete guide map to the island. Anything you need Bernie will fix, and if there's anything you want to do, Bernie will know where and how to get there. Not only this, but we he will provide you with the goods needed in order to complete the trip. Everyone is very welcome and they keep the place nice and clean. If you are looking to go surf all day, this is the spot. If you are here to hike and look around the island, this is also the spot. It's an amazing place
