Kaka'ako Wine

I Love this place! I often forget it's here in my area but am always delighted when I go. The staff are extremely helpful but don't hover. The selection is great and I always try something new and have yet to be disappointed! It's really cute too! Love the basement!

My son sent me a bottle Duckhorn Vineyards cabernet sauvigon for my birthday. It was a great surprise when it was delivered. Plus, the chocolate bars were a nice added touch. This wine paired really well with the crispy chicken confit that I had for dinner.

Very grateful to Kaka'ako Wine for carrying Blue Curacao, which can be difficult to find; I'm able to find the elusive blue spirit once every two years on some dusty liquor store shelf as mostly an after-thought, and it intrigues me as to why this is: it's one of the prime ingredients in the iconic Blue Hawaii drink.The good thing about the brands representing the Blue Curacao that Kaka'ako Wine carries the De Kuyper brand, which is a Dutch brand dating back to the 1600's despite the fact that Bols was the first in creating the Blue Curacao, and Bols dates back to the 1500's. I purchased the De Kuyper Curacao and a Bols Orange Curacao for very reasonable prices. It's hard to find Bols brand outside of Hawaii, or even the mainland. I used to have to ask family members to bring back Bols flavors from Japan or Europe. Don't even bothering ordering anything from Amazon because it's not the real deal. Kaka'ako Wine also carries elusive goods such as Rothman and Winter Creme de Violette, Ole Smoky Moonshine Salty Watermelon Whiskey, and Amaro Angeleno made in California. They also carry bitters such as Angostura and Peychaud's bitters in small amber-coloered bottles. I'm a cocktail shopper and find their prices either on-par or cheaper, compared to where it is you are buying from (Safeway, CVS/Longs, Wal-Mart, etc).STOREFRONT: there is not a physical store. You will have to order online, then follow the instructions sent to your email to complete the transaction. After you buy the items online, you will be sent an email message w/ receipt, where to drive, where to park and where they are located. I had to climb up to an office located on the second floor.SERVICE: super friendly! if you order a certain amount (see webpage), you can get free delivery to your home town, but again, free means a tip of either $10, or $12 or more per delivery. Of course this makes sense but I opted to pick up my goods instead of having it delivered.RETURN FACTOR: Totally yes! I would still like to craft serious cocktails for my second job.

Cant recommend the team at Kaka'ako highly enough. Their customer service and communication are is faultless! If you are looking for a gift and delivery - look no further! Their delivery is reliable and on time. Every team member I dealt with was friendly and polite. A massive THANK YOU to all the team members! You will not be disappointed using these guys!

I recommend Kaka'ako Wine to anyone who will listen, lol. They have amazing, quick service, and their delivery is SO reliable. They have a great selection of wines of all kinds at a variety of price points. I also love that they have the option to add on flowers or snacks.

Amazing service. I've ordered from them many times before. They are always are very helpful with making recommendations. They have assemble some very nice wine and scotch gift baskets for me and even delivered it to me for free. They are awesome!!!

Free Delivery, Great Customer Service! Prices are Reasonable as well...Great variety of wines, champagne, liquor, etc.

It's one of the only places where you can get hard-to-get spirits and wines. Other places might be a little cheaper but it's never available. I like the fact that they include some complementary chocolates with your order. complimentary Chocolate They also offer delivery service too.
