Kaimana Divers

I just got scuba certified at Kaimana Wednesday and wow, what a great company to do this with. Gabe was super helpful in getting the materials to me well before my trip, and my instructor Joshua was amazing. He really is a gifted teacher. So patient, with a very calming demeanor but he makes it super fun. He took so much time and care and you can tell it's because he is passionate about scuba diving and helping others enjoy this sport safely. Bonus: he's amazing at finding octopi so we got to see 4! A fellow Discover Scuba Diver took these videos on our last dive. I will absolutely be back to dive with this outfit.

This was my first time in Hawaii and my first time diving in an ocean. I got certified 3 weeks ago in Texas and took my test in a lake. I couldn't be happier to take my first ocean dive in Hawaii and with this place. They were so helpful, and all so nice. I can't wait to return and dive deeper on the next one.

Visiting Oahu after being stationed here 8 years ago. I used to Dive with Kaimana Divers nearly every weekend and would not recommend any other company over this one! Gabe is fantastic and will take you on great dives. If you are looking for a great atmosphere and an awesome diving experience, hit up Gabe and he will deliver! Easily the best on the island!

Guys, seriously, don't dive here because the next time I come back I don't want them to be so busy that I can't dive with Gabe and his team! They're just way too professional, too friendly, and much too reasonably priced to be real! In all seriousness, I've found my new go to dive operation on Oahu! Did 3 wreck and reef trips over the course of a week and they were all great. Alex, Josh, and Gabe were all a pleasure to dive with. Super knowledgeable and great guides. Ended up on the Sea Tiger for all 3 wreck dives due to currents, but each one was great. Tons of turtles, eels, a few sharks, and I swear to god I need to know their octopus finding secret! Will definitely come back to Kaimana when we come back (or hopefully move here)! Thanks Gabe!

Couldn't say enough good things about this place. This was our first ocean and recreational dive, and Gabe made sure we were well equipped both literally and mentally going into it. He couldn't be a nicer guy. Danny, who led our dive under water, did an excellent job. He was very patient and attentive with us. We will definitely be coming back here again in the future!

Offers a wide variety of dives and takes people in smaller groups unlike other tourists-trap companies that put you on a huge boat with a lot of people. Prices are good and from the staff that I've met, everybody is very nice. I had one my dives canceled because of bad weather, but I wasn't charged and was later given a call about a booking that just opened. They're always looking out for their customer satisfaction in which I was able to dive while being there in a limited amount of time.

Got certified (OW & AOW/Nitrox) with Kaimana and did most of my first 50-ish dives with them. DMs are all solid (shout out to Greg and Avalon), Gabe is always super quick to respond when trying to get a last minute dive in, and captain Terry is always a pleasure. Probably the best value dive shop on island. If you're a club member it's ~$100 with gear vs ~$150 for club members with most other shops.

My young boys and I (all certified) went out for a quick 2tank dive while visiting family on Oahu. Gabe made sure we were all set beforehand. And then Clare was really patient and attentive during the dives. The dive sites we went to were just outside the inlet so it was a quick and easy transit. All in all a great trip.

Dove three times with Kaimana September 2024. What a great outfit. Dive Instructer Berklee knows her stuff. I never felt safer. Small boat with a great captain - Moose. She set-up all our gear! I just threw it on my back and dove in. Berklee took us to six dive sites - all different on three separate days. Saw tons of turtles, eels, rays and of course, fishes of all colors. Coral was beautiful. The deep dive to the shipwreck has an all time great event - got to swim through a boat! Ask for Berklee!

I got scuba certified at Kaimana and WOW, I can not recommend this spot enough! Joshua is such a gifted teacher. He is super fun but absolutely serious about this incredible sport since your life or death are at stake. I did my first and only discover scuba dive with this outfit in September 2024 and just had to come all the way back from Michigan for the class. I'm so happy I did, and truly grateful for this experience and getting to have Josh as my instructor. He is so patient and calming, and an extra special perk is that he is amazing at spotting octopi! we saw at least 4 in 2 days! Wish I could have some pics to share but this time it was all about studies and skills. I'll be back for more dives with Kaimana.
