Kailua Town center has been a really fun place to go to lately! They sometimes throw events or have cute things going on that you'd WANT to make the drive over to Kailua! Last christmas they had a bunch of cute photo ops. I'm glad i took the time to go down because it was really cute and apparently the last christmas for my dog, Nala. I'm glad i was able to capture some memories with happier times when she was somewhat healthier. On Thursdays - they have farmers markets in the evening. Don't forget to bring cash with you (which i totally forgot). There are some food vendors that will take credit card tho.Recently they've been throwing little events around Kailua town too. The lei bus has been there in the past and we went to go do our free photo op with them in February. This past week they had the sip and shop over the weekend. You collect stamps around Kailua town (a lanyard is provided) and you can win a $500 gift card for completion. You can get a bunch of freebies with the lanyard too! There was mocktails, a lot of drinks, cotton candy, and shave ice! The Lei bus was also there again too for the cute photo op. it was really busy at this event since the farmers market was also happening that night, so parking was a little limited compared to other days.

Kailua Town always had so many great activities to do with the keikis. Love all the food options and clothing stores. The workers love their jobs and it shows. Thankful to have the stores so close to home. We will be back for the next sales and family events.

Kailua Town Center is a great place, whether you're a resident or a visitor. There is an amazing, eclectic array of shops and restaurants. I highly doubt that anyone wouldn't find something they like here. Over the years, I have seen so many changes in the town center, and they're all pretty great. Businesses have come and gone, but vacant places don't stay that way for long.I really like that there's a farmers market every Thursday, and this past October there was a mini scavenger hunt around the town center. They put a lot of thought into it, because every Monday, they changed all the places the hunt took you to. It was a really great way to get some exercise, spend time with family, get some fresh air, and promote our local businesses all at the same time. It also ended with a trick or treat bag for the keiki, and coupons for the adults! Hopefully there will be more activities coming up in the near future.

I love this place. It has a plethora of places to go. E.g, Whole folds, Down to Earth, Ulta, Longs drugs/CVS, California Pizza Kitchen, Teddys, Soho, etc. This is the shopping center to go to if you need anything. Plus, there is so much parking, so you do not even have to worry about it.

Nice place to visit and shop. There are many local stores along with mainland chains. There are plenty of parking available. This is a convenient shopping area for the residents of Kailua and also for tourists. You can find some souvenirs to buy and bring back home.

There seem to be two different Kailua Town Centers:One is big chain oriented, with Whole Foods on one end, and California Pizza Kitchen on the other. But around the corner on Hekili St is another world. A strip of funky little shops and places to eat. Love love love eating at Nalo. Kono's is OK too. Shops have a trendy millennial vibe. I like this area a lot.

Going to Kailua town used to be a getaway or "staycay (staycation) for me and I would reserve it for days when the need to decompress arises. I love heading over to the Pali to do some "chillaxin" and lay out on that nice and silky-soft sandy beach Dr. Beach rated so highly in his annual beach health report. This no longer holds true for this cute and quaint sleepy town. Recent changes in the area is making the place look a lot more like (IMHO) Waikiki town wanna-be. It's almost like a slumbering giant slowly waking up now. However, if they can maintain a different identity than Waikiki, I am all for that. Perhaps it will end up being more like Hawaii Kai - commercialized but no high rises. Let's hope so.This revitalized center is nice, new and exciting for those who enjoys a vibrant scene. There are lots of energy here and the vibes are so upbeat as more new shops and eateries continued to pop up in the KTC and all over the nearby places. You can already tell the soon-to-be-opened Target store will make the area busier (and hopefully not too overly congested). In the mean time, Whole Foods Market, CPK, Longs Drugs and Pier One have already gained many repeat customers. What makes it nice and refreshing is that KTC scored one of their larger and more appropriate anchor tenants: Whole Foods Market. This high-end grocer is perfect for Kailua since it fits the demographics so well. And of course, I love the entire concept of WFM. For years, I classified Kailua's dining scene as a "culinary spot" they are not! WFM has a neat bar-and-pizza counter made for a perfect spot to enjoy a smooth glass of Cabernet Sauvignon or a frosty glass of icy cold local beer at the end of the day. Now, nicer restaurants and eateries are there to stay. It is such an easy place to frequent. Parking is ample and open. In addition, KTC also holds a weekly farmers market on Thursday nights. The amount of incredible gourmet foods and fresh local produce available at the farmers market is awesome. I really enjoyed hanging out there for the entertainment and the food. When I am lucky enough, I make it in time to WFM's happy hours. Life is good. After a good meal, I can still run my errands at Longs Drugs located next door. Now that is almost a one stop shop mall!

I'm a fan of the new Kailua Town Center. For the past several years, I've witnessed half of Kailua town central business district being demolished (by landowner Kaneohe Ranch Management) & rebuilt into a revitalized, Kailua business district. At the center of all this construction is the, Kailua Town Center. Which is a community-based master plan designed for redeveloping Kailua and improving the overall Kailua pedestrian experience. Kailua Town Center is a pleasure to shop/walk in. It is pedestrian, pet, handicap, car & budget friendly. The architectural designs for the buildings such as the Hawaiian-style pitched roofs, board & baton siding & outdoor seating, reflects Kailua history & lifestyle. Lush, common & uncommon tropical plants surrounds each building. Including, two extra large 'green living walls' on the Whole Foods building. Throughout the property, in the public spaces, you'll find many, beautiful works of art by local artist ........look for my favorite, the gorgeous hand carved floral murals found on the exterior walls of the Longs Drugs parking lot building. Presently, the Kailua Town Center, includes anchor tenants Longs Drugs, First Hawaiian Bank, and soon to open Whole Foods Market. The other tenants are made up of locally owned small business such as, Executive Chef, Fighting Eel, Paul Brown Full Service Salon, Lily Lotus, Miyoshi Ramen, Cold Stone Creamery, etc? which is a huge plus for a residential beach town such as Kailua. Kailua Town Center also has mainland retailers Pier 1 & California Pizza Kitchen, etc. ? as their tenants.
