Great experience while on the island. Went looking mostly for 'old stuff', but lots of new stuff and produce available, too. Found a couple of aloha shirts for a great price, and some air plants, too

What a fun event! I'm not sure if this is held annually but it's a wonderful community event called Kailua Swap Meet at the Aikahi Elementary school. There are garage sales and a mix of local artisans selling various things. The food options are plenty for everyone in your group. The garage sales are a hit, so many cool items just to browse for a bargain. Most clothing pieces are $1-$5, I was able to get two pairs of kids Vans size 13 for $4.00 total. They are in amazing shape! He will put a hole in them in a month so it's so nice to find kids shoes for cheap! Recycle and reuse, especially around the Hawaiian red dirt. Dog friendly and you can find parking around the neighborhood or take the trolley. Here is the link to this year's event information:https://www.tickettailor.com/events/kailuaswapmeet/915772?https://kailuaswapmeet.com/Hopefully they have this event more often, be respectful of the area as it's a residential elementary school. Enjoy my friends!

I really miss the old swap meets where people sell their unwanted or barely used items from their homes and sell them at a reasonable price. Kailua swap meet brought those memories back. The parking is horrendous unless you park the trolley stops. We hiked in and initially perused the usual farmer's market/craft fair booths until we found the swap meet booths. There were a lot of bargains to be had and my wife and I actually purchased several used items. It was a great time and we will surely come back.

It's a bargain flea market. You can always find lots of Hawaiian souvenirs from clothing, jewelry, woodworks, exotic food especially fruits and more. Always visit this place whenever I'm in Oahu, HI.
