Where do we begin? The experience we had with Kawena and her entire team at Kahiapo Talent was above and beyond fantastic and memorable. From the initial phone call we made, multiple emails, and text messages throughout the planning stages, Kawena is an amazing communicator. Mind you, she is very busy, but she always made time to reach out to us in a timely fashion, answering any questions we had. Our plan as a couple was to have an intimate ceremony on Oahu. We wanted something simple, inexpensive, while also incorporating something traditional to the islands, the energy it offers, and its people. Kawena and her team hit it out of the park! Her ceremony gave us goosebumps. We went with a package that included music from a Ukulele player, flower bouquet, Haku Lei (flower crown), Maile Lei for the groom, and a photographer The flowers were fresh, fragrant, and beautiful. The Maile Lei smelled amazing. Danny played the music during the ceremony, then sang to us afterward, while we shared our first dance as a married couple on the beach. Suzi, the photographer is a ball of sunshine! We just received our photos, and she captured every special moment of the ceremony. She also spent quality time with just the two of us after afterward doing some fun photos.This was a team collaboration. They are very experienced and work well together. The entire team is amazing. We were treated with so much love and Aloha and given a wedding ceremony that we will never forget. Mahalo Kawena, Danny, and Suzi. We will forever remember all of you

We initially booked with Kawena before covid, and she was incredibly gracious with our numerous postponements. When the big day finally came, she did not disappoint. Her calming presence and patience made her our ideal officiant. Our guests raved about how unique and spiritual our ceremony was. From the very start Kahiapo Talent was so easy to talk to an even made time to come to meet me at the location of my wedding to see what could be done. Kawena is so incredibly artistic and talented, her elegant taste just blew my mind so I entrusted everything to her. She put my mind at ease and made planning a wedding in a month so easy!! I am so happy incredibly grateful to Kahiapo Talent for making my dream wedding come true. The gorgeous linens depicted in the photos below, table decor and settings, and wedding decorations were all a smash hit! My personalized wedding was cozy, elegant and beautiful just the way I dreamt it. Having Kawena there day of to make sure everything went smoothly, was such a great idea as well. She made everyone feel at ease and super relaxed so that we could all have a wonderful and amazing time. Oh and the musician they hired, what a dream!! We were lucky to work with Kawena and her talented and sweet crew - ukulele player, videographer, and photographer. Our little wedding on the beach could not have been more perfect with the gentle ukulele playing and Kawena's beautiful voice and meaningful and powerful words, incorporating melodious Hawaiian chants and vows. The videographer and photographer captured every moment and presented them so celestially. Because of COVID, we had a small, intimate ceremony, but were able to share our momentous day with our loved ones with the video and photos. I cannot recommend Kahiapo Talent more, so thankful for their professional, thoughtful, and talented services.

I never write Yelp reviews, but for Kawena, I most definitely WILL! We first found Kawena thru my Aunty, who coordinated our wedding and knew the "perfect kahu to officiate" for us. And we were lucky enough that Kawena was available on such short notice!She met with us before hand and got to know us a little bit and helped walk us thru what we wanted to include and how the ceremony would be conducted. We were surprised by how comfortable she made us feel and removed some of the stress behind the wedding. Our ceremony was be-a-utiful!! Tears filled the air. And not only were my hubby and I thrilled with how the ceremony went, all of our guests gushed about how amazing Kawena was! Since I was pregnant when we tied the knot, we knew we had to have her back to bless our baby once he arrived. 8 months later and Again, to our surprise Kawena was available and more than happy to bless our newborn son. Despite forecasts of thunderstorms, she came and performed yet another tear jerking ceremony. Mahalo piha e Kawena for being a part of the most special days we've had. Kawena was our amazing officiant and she coordinated our photographer and leis too. Our wedding was everything we wanted and so much more. I'll never forget this amazing day and all the simple but meaningful touches Kawena brought. I feel like she read my mind! Highly recommend her and know you won't regret your day either!

Kawena is the best officiant on Oahu hands down! She was better than I could have expected and conducted the most meaningful and special wedding ceremony I have even seen! Her 'Ōlelo was perfect and not at all cheesy or forced and her chants were beautiful. Not only does Kahiapo Talent offer officiant services but also wedding coordination. It was great to have a personal connection with the person who married us and coordinated our wedding. I cannot recommend Kahiapo Talent enough for all of your wedding needs! Kawena and her team at kahiapo talent went above and beyond all expectations. If you're planning a wedding or elopement ceremony in Hawaii look no further! Planning an elopement ceremony and having the uncertainties of the pandemic pose numerous curveballs. She was very accommodating and understanding with any schedule changes . Throughout the planning process she was a quick email, phone call or text away and would respond so fast. She has numerous packages that you can cherry pick from and customize how ever you'd like. Kawena and her team executed my day so perfectly the arch, flowers, ukulele player and conch player and most importantly Kawena and her ability to captivate my guest and preform such a beautiful ceremony. Her attention to detail goes unmatched. I mentioned something in passing early on in our planning stages about a way to honor my dad who has passed. I completely forgot I had asked her but she made it happen! Thank you kawena and team! You have truly made our ceremony like no other. We were so fortunate to cross paths with Kawena. My husband and I got married on beach in August. It was PERFECT!!From the beginning of planning, Kawena was always so responsive and attentive to all our needs. She also helped coordinate my florals which turned out gorgeous.
