ALASKAN KING CRAB LEGS WERE GOOD THIS TIME. The last time they were spoiled but not this time. There's a time stamp on the label to show you what time they were packaged. Excellent limu poke. The fish was really fresh and the seasoning was excellent. The charcuterie box was ok but I liked the cheddar cheese they used before much better. The prosciutto and the salami had a little dryness on the edges (I'm just nitpicking now). But at least I didn't have to build a charcuterie from scratch.

Live the convenience of this market, affiliate of Foodland. Love the abundance of parking. And while the parking lot is usually quite full, there are always people coming a few going. Kahala Market is Aldo the home of Et Al, and casual yet upscale eatery in the neighborhood.Recently I have been hanging b out more and more in this neighborhood and have become more acquainted with the hot and cold deli offerings here. And actually, like many of them more than some of the other Foodland and affiliate markets. Recently enjoyed the kamaboko dip (really delicious!). The bakery items are no slouch either. Hate to admit, almost finished half a carrot cake by myself... almost. Hahah. It's okay right; carrots are vegetables and walnuts are protein, cream cheese is dairy... almost a complete food group. ;-)And since this is a Foodland market, they are participating in Six dolla Friday promotion. So what did I get this past Friday? ...Just a pound of the delicious garlic shrimp poke. Also a kahala bowl of "paniolo beef stew" with sweet potatoes over rice. So ono!Located just across Kahala Mall. There is even tented tables just outside to eat your takeout. Take note of hours outdoor table seating is open tho.

Nice store which continues to get better over the years as they continue to refine their merchandising and find what suits this affluent but also very tricky location. An expanded charcuterie section, a poke counter, and vastly improved grab and go area are some of the latest additions. Better and more unique bottled sauces and condiments, edible gift items, and even some of the regular Foodland sale items are carried here. If you haven't visited here for a while, you might be surprised when you return.I bought a "beet poke power bowl" from the grab and go and it was interesting. Truly only a person from Hawaii might have thought to assemble these ingredients into a single bowl -- roasted beets, wakame, choi sum, cucumber kimchi, edamame, takuan, ocean salad. Very savory, very umami. Not sure I'd get it again tbh. I'll probably stick to the less adventurous prepacked items next time!

What a great place to get some poke and groceries. This fresh new market offers lots of great poke and cooked food. A great poke bar appears as soon as you walk in. We got two poke bowels with spicy ahi and scollops. In addition, we also brought the well marinated crab poke, that was abit on the salty side. The hamachi sashimi were so fresh and melts in the mouth. The boiled peanuts need just about a minute more in the instant pot to be super soft. What not to get is the hot chicken musubi- no taste, texture resembles overnight chewy meat and very oily. Parking spots are hard to get. And an unfortunate homeless woman with mental problems already sat at the table right in front of the market, yelling.

Other day decided to stop by Kahala foodland located in the Kuono shopping center across from Kahala Mall . Seen an advertisement about freshly made shrimp chip from Foodland chef's.It was pretty good not as salty like Lay's shrimp chip but a little oily . Good taste of shrimp flavoring and worth the price . Limited time offer although it could be a regular item . Support local

You want hot food for breakfast or lunch and pick what you want for under $10. This is the place, you want fresh poke and food is flavorful this is the place. Want to eat outside and enjoy the sun this is your place. Great customer service and amazing atmosphere this is the place. Tell you what this place had it all and some and won me over with the hot food bar. Ordered a hot plate with some chicken wings on the side and was in heaven. My wife got poke and I had some of hers and was delicious. Will come back here for a little snacky snack.

Note: This is a review for R. Fields wine within MKT.Overview: A boogie supermarket wine department for those with a bit more disposable income but a requisite stop for certain brown libation hunters.Wine - Well chosen, mostly new world higher end ($50-$200) but recognizable labels with some more affordably priced ($25-$40) old world options for those looking for something other than supermarket wines. Some collectables.Beer - NONE.Liquor - brown libations - Shhhh. Buffalo Trace brand hunters and rarity hunters, this is your spot. Limited but different bottlings. Main stream labels found in MKT liquor department.Liquor - Weak. Main stream labels found in MKT liquor department.Prices: MSRP except Foodland advertised sales that make those prices the lowest on the Island. Staff product knowledge / service: Extremely High thanks to the limited inventory. Friendly, approachable, knowledgeable. Conclusion: Hunters of certain brown libations, this will be a weekly stop. For everyone else, there are many far better options in the area.

Oh how I wish this is what our supermarkets were like in Cali, I'd literally come here all the time just to get some fresh poke. I stopped by here a couple times on my visit here, and the worker was nice enough to let me sample a lot of different kinds of fish. Aside from the poke, you can find tons of cool groceries and ready-made meals for your convenience.

2023 was for browsing.2024 was for shopping.Last year, we only walked through here as we had just enjoyed brunch with local friends in the adjoining restaurant, et al. We weren't in the mood to shop on a full stomach. After shopping at two other shops in this mall, I brought my friend in here as it was his 1st time here. Though we made our way past the cooked food section (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=rmpMuglJykQoAvlUMuRkYw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), we didn't buy anything there since we just came from KCC farmers' market. The only items that we shopped for and bought were some no or low calorie drinks that we can't find at home. When checking out, my friend gave his telephone number to enjoy the Ka'maina discount on our purchase since they are linked to the original Foodland system. The drinks were only so so but it as interesting to try a low cal sparkling soda with tropical flavors. The most impressive section of this store is their extensive liquor and wine section with spans almost a quarter of the shop. Bottles are both on shelves and refrigerated (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=sz704lE03BN4O96tNMMiAg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). For sheer variety of grocery items, this store is smaller than the one in Ala Moana. Will likely stop here again if I get a donut craving or need to get some treats from the snacks store a few doors over.
