Went here for a family birthday party. Open to residents and their guests, the pool is big enough for many parties at once. The pool goes up to 4' so perfect for kids. There is also a little "hot tub" to relax in as well. There are also cabanas that you can relax under if it gets too sunny or rains. There is no lifeguard but there was a security guard walking around making sure all the children stay safe. Overall, very nice swimming pool area for families that live around the area in Kapolei.

The Hoakalei Swim Club is exclusive for residents & their guest of Ka Makana of Hoakalei. It is beautifully done with tropical trees and plants along with Hawaiian rocks around the pool and jacuzzi. They have several pavilions and a kitchen that you may reserve for gatherings. The area is always kept extremely clean; surrounding grounds and the actual water very well maintained. The family loves hanging out here and swimming. On those windy days, we chill out in the jacuzzi. There is also the workout area to enjoy. They have weights, treadmills, bikes, and more. The room is filled with TV's and of course through the glass, beautiful tropical views.

Hosted my kids birthday party here this past weekend. We rented the 2 cabanas on the farther left side, for our 30-40 guests. The area is very spacious and we even got to play a few games. The pool is very "pretty" and has a little waterfall. My kids and guest really enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi. The only negative was that there was a lot of flies surrounding the food idea, which can't be preventable since it is outdoors. But it is something to keep in mind if hosting a party. I would recommend Ka Makana Swim Club for those who have access. :)

It's a nice place. It's the people that are the issue. Kids in the Jacuzzi, not just kids, babies in diapers. It is a community pool, but some treat it like it's their pool. It's not management's fault, they set the rules, it's those that use it, and do not respect rules or others. It really is not a community pool, it's a kids pool. If your an adult, over 4 foot, you can't swim, or exercise as the kids are everywhere. Love my home, hate the pool.

We visited the swim club for the first time this weekend and were impressed! The pool is beautiful, clean and the perfect temperature. Lots of families and kids - really fun atmosphere. I've used the gym several times and other than working out in front of floor to ceiling windows , it's a very nice setup. We LOVE living here and having access to the amazing facilities.

This swim club was one of the reasons we chose Hoakalei. It's a great family oriented pool where people enjoy time with their children and family. It does get a bit noisy, but what do you expect for a community pool. My boys and nieces love it and we try to go three times a week since it's Summer. The jacuzzi is always at the perfect temperature, never too hot or cold. It's beautifully landscaped which is an added plus. :)

This place is packed with teenage punks. I don't mind kids but I hate punks. Doesn't anyone study after school anymore? They all just hang out at the pool and jacuzzi. I guess I was a nerd in highschool.

The Swim club was the main reason we chose tolive in Ka Makana. We do enjoy having easy access to the pool. My daughter is only six and there are usually teenagers smoking in the pool area which is bothersome. But for the most part the security guards do a good job of patrolling and making sure everyone is safe. :)
