I went here for the farmers market on Sunday and there was barely anyone there. I went when it was open too. There was one produce stand and it was super expensive?? The lady was nice but I was disappointed when I went to this farmers market on Sunday. Next time, I'll try to go on the Wednesday they're open.

My family and I were thinking of things to do this past Sunday, 02/28/2021, and I had really wanted to visit a farmer's market. So, having read that there was one at Ka Makana Ali'i during the time that we'd be out of the house, I asked my family if they were willing to spend some time at Ka Makana Ali'i. We made the drive and we walked all over the place looking for the "farmer's market", but didn't really see anything resembling one. Much to my dismay, there it was at the center stage area, not looking so much like a farmers market! As I walked around I saw booths with different foods and snacks, Hawaiian food, crafts, and ONE table with actual vegetables. It was a small table without much selection, but at least they had what a farmers market is supposed to be all about.Anyway, I'll continue looking for a farmer's market that actually sells fruits and vegetables. Probably won't go out of my way to come back to this one.

Honestly my only reason I continue to visit this mall the Wednesday and sometimes Sunday farmers market. The Wednesday evening farmers market is much more busy for obvious reasons more vendors and its cooler and they sometimes have entertainment at center stage esp during the holiday season. On Wednesday evening my fav finds are local honey, ulu chips, ulu/poi, haupia/kulolo, Hawaiian plate, tacos, butter mochi, crinkle cookies, kulolo mochi, ube and pai'ai haupia crunch from numerous vendors. Of course produce for the week, crafts and much more.Sundays they are limited to Ridge's Wooden Spoons baked goods (kid baked and operated business) and a produce stand.

My wife and I were trying ti figure out how we were going to spend our Sunday when I saw that Ka Makana Alii has a farmer's market starting at 11:00. I figured we would go to the farmer's market, shop around a little then have lunch. We got there at about 11:00 and saw just one table selling popcorn and a person setting up another table. Maybe we were early, so we shopped for a while before returning to the farmer's market. There were just three vendors total, and nobody was selling fresh farm goods. What a waste of our time. This event wasn't even worth announcing in print. Sorry I didn't post any pictures but it was so small that I didn't think it would be listed in Yelp.

Very spaced out vendors within the mall area. Wish there were more, and there weren't much vendors that sold local food. Overall ok, but there are farmers markets with more vendors to choose from.Lots of parking since it is in the mall.

It has potential! Perhaps since the mall is still fairly new they haven't gotten their groove? Found enough of veggies and fruit for a couple bucks each bundle. Agree that the booths are too spaced out. When we first walked through, we thought we missed it... but nope, it was only 5pm... so barely open an hour :/ I like that it's close to home... I'd skip Safeway for a veggie run knowing this is here. Although until this one gets bigger, I may go to other markets for that fuller experience and selection.

I've only been here once and I got stuff I really wanted and needed so I will definitely be back. Vendors are spread apart. Not a bad thing as you don't feel pressured to buy from one or the other.

Went to the Farmers Market at Ka Makana Alii this past Sunday for some fresh vegetables and fruits. We got there after 11am and there was nothing that resembled a Farmers Market. There were a few vendors, 1 selling clothing, 1 selling jewelry, 1 selling mexcian food and a ONE table that was very small and had little to no produce. This really was a waste of our time! I thought a Farmers Market was supposed resemble a Farmers Market. I hope it gets better. We will check out some of the other Farmers Markets and probable won't come back to this one anytime soon.
