K-Bay Theater

$5 for adults? Kids under 5 are free? I'm there! I can't see myself going to a regular movie theater again so long as I am able to see movies on base. The theater is CLEAN, not as crowded, and the prices can't be beat. Even the food at the concession stand is considerably cheaper than off-base.

Since the reinvention of Water Gardens discount theater in Enchanted Lake, I was on the search of movie-watching alternatives. My husband had mentioned this theater on base a while back, but I had never checked out. We've now gone a few times. Can check the movie showtimes online: http://mccshawaii.com/theater/. Seems to be a pretty good selection of current movies. Tickets for adults (12 years and older) are $5 each, and the large popcorn is $5.50 (at the time of this review) - yes! The theater can seat 850 people, so seating is not a problem. Thankful for this benefit!
