Jumpstart is an excellent preschool. My son has been going there for one month now and he loves it since day one. Ms. Stephanie and Kristen are super caring and always provides great communication with me via text and an app called Storypark, which captures pictures of the activities that the keiki have for the day. I really enjoy seeing these pictures and knowing what my son is learning. During COVID time, all keiki have to wash their hands and have their temperature checked before they enter the classroom, which is a very good practice. They also have a very nice grassy yard for keikis to play safely and freely outside of the classroom, which is also a big plus. My son is thriving since he attended Jumpstart and I really want to thank all of the teachers at Jumpstart for taking great care of him.

My son Noah grew up here from age 2 to 4. He loved it there, he's 8 now. It isn't only for the Jewish, we are Catholic. The fundamentals he learned from there has culminated to excellent grades all through elementary school, he's grade 2 now. He also keeps in touch with friends he made from pre-school. Overall excellent school.

Amazing preschool! The teachers love the children and care for them like they are their own. Very nurturing school, and they embrace each child's individuality. Both of our children attended this preschool.

Best hidden gem preschool in Nuuanu! Let me preface this by saying I am not a trusting person, and this is not our first childcare facility. However, I am completely satisfied with Jumpstart. My daughter started halfway through the 2 year old year, and she is in the 4's class now. The enrollment process was quick and easy. The owner/director, Sherri, is very responsive, thorough, and nonjudgmental. All my daughter's teachers have been loving and great with communication (in person, through texts and calls, as well as an app). They also helped us a ton with potty training. The school itself is well located, ample parking, spacious airy classrooms, and lots of outdoor space. They have a good balance of play and academic curriculum. It is small and family-like. It is secular and not a part of the temple/synagogue.The school has followed COVID protocols to the T and remained open through the pandemic with only minor schedule changes, which is not an easy feat. As a single parent I really appreciate this preschool for keeping my daughter safe, socialized, and learning!
