I definitely rank this location as good as Thelma's but I love them both. Their lechon here is so good. Just don't order the tapa here. My friend had ordered it and it was hard. I had the same experience but I didn't want to complain. Service here is excellent by the waitress I usually see. The inside was clean. Food is good except the tapa. I always get the longonisa plate or the lechilog. So good. Plenty of parking here but it does get full too so get here during the less busy times.

This is in the same building as En Fuego however it's nice to get my steps in even if I parked way at the other end of the strip mall. The lady at the counter who took our takeout order wasn't bubbly friendly, more like aunty/tita efficient. LoL!We ordered, paid and sat outside waiting for our food. She was nice and brought the food out to us.I had a combo. Adobo fried rice omelette and lechon. It was good even if we got our food after 2pm and didn't eat til maybe 3:30 the skin on my pork belly was still crispy and airy. It never got soggy.

Today I took off from work and picked up my sister and brother in law and headed down to westside Kapolei.Originally that's my hood I grew up in the area but now live in town . Much have changed ever since but all I know if you want good Philippino food head down to Julie 'Z . Located in the Kapolei shopping center with Safeway. I ordered their famous Pork Adobo fried rice along with Pork and peas, squid and Lechon Kawali . Also a short stack pancakes. Yes pancakes their pancakes is probably the best pancake I ever had. What makes it delicious it's very buttery and a little crisp on top and the inside it's not too heavy like pancake batter. It's light and fluffy if your in the area need to try their pancakes Support local

Was treated to breakfast by brother-in-law Craig T. His choice of venue was Julie'Z.Great choice. We shared a number of dishes. The Hot Cakes still one of the best in the Islands. Squid Guisado, Pork Guisanties, Pork Adobo and Lechon Kawali rounded out our order. The service was first rate. Constantly coming around to fill our water and coffee's. Thank you Julie'Z ,and thank you Craig. The food, was good and filling The company was great. Enjoy

I ordered my short stack pancakes and the food was pork adobo fried rice, pork and peas, lechon kawali, and squid quisado. My pancakes was excellent and the other food was good too. Lots of leftovers so dinner tonight. Lol. The server came with refill of water, coffee. At the end they came with take out containers. The food is good if your hungry for Filipino on the west side.

No frills good home cooked food like from your mom's kitchen. This isn't near the Waikīkī metro area but closer to the resorts but we always stop by when we get a chance. Sometimes if you time it right there is no wait. We've tried a handful of things on the menu and I always go back to the tried and true. I love the lumpia here and I always get a side of the longaniza. They do one sweet one and one savory one. My go to is the two combo plate with one scoop of rice instead of two. I switch up the meats but I love the pinakbet and pancit. The portions are generous and we always have leftovers.

5 stars for fire food! Great flavor/taste! Had breakfast I'd recommend grilled adobo with white rice 2 eggs over medium all day. Id recommend everything to be honest and I love the Filipino sausage "pause" lol. You will be satisfied, I'm coming back for sure. Service decent especially when busy they do their best. Ambiance family and locals like normal lol.

Good. Simple. Filipino Food.No frills. No fluff.Just good home cooked food. The restaurant isn't anything fancy, just your standard family place with stock supplies visible and simple tables and chairs. The staff is super friendly. They have a bathroom too. (Some other restaurants in the shopping center don't.)The dishes are your standard plate lunch with rice and Filipino staples. Our favorite thing to order is the Grand Slam Combo with Lechon (crispy pork belly) and Shrimp Sardiado (whole shrimp with scrambled eggs). It's a little bit of work to eat if you peel off all the shrimp shells. I'm someone who will eat the whole entire shrimp, shell and all (except for the tails if they're a little too pokey) so it was quick work for me lol. Also, we all love their hotcakes. I don't know why. They're not some sort of super crazy ube-glazed purple pancake or anything different from normal pancakes. They're just good, reliable, plain pancakes with butter. Sometimes that's all you need.
