About six months ago, my fiance and I got engaged on the island of Oahu. However, we were just in town for another short week and wanted to do our engagement photos in Hawaii, since we had met there. In a panic, I was worried about getting them done. Julia was referred to me by a mutual friend, and was able to fit in our photos before we left. She really worked with us to fit our needs, get the setting and "look" we wanted, and help us to feel comfortable in front of the camera. In addition, she was able to capture the essence of our love in just a few pictures. I was really impressed by the variety, quality and beauty of all the shots that she returned to us. Needless to say, we ended up with some amazing shots and work that we will have for a lifetime. Julia herself, is very professional, caring and empathetic to the needs of all her clients. She will deliver wonderful work!!!

Julia did our lovely destination wedding on January 8, 2015 and she did an amazing job! All of our friends commented they had never seen such an active wedding photographer! Our pictures turned out absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for a better person to capture are special day!

I did not have the best experience! Extremely hard to get in in touch with prior to the wedding. I had to send several reminder emails. I had to ask her to send me the contract. Very nice couple... Our wedding party was late so she was able to get awesome shots of the guest... But didn't get the one shot I asked her to get of my husband & I. Very nice person but I am not happy with the service I received!

Julia is absolutely the best!!!! My new husband and I met Julia and her associate, Molly, last year on a trip to Hawaii. We decided we wanted some affordable, professional photos done and looked online for a photography company. As luck has it, we ran across Julia's company and had photos taken by her on the beach near The Four Seasons. Julia and Molly were the sweetest people we have ever met; it was like we had known them for years. They were extremely professional and very affordable, but we were unsure of how the quality would be and if the shots would turn out as we imagined, especially for the price. Wow! Were we wrong as ever!!! The photos were absolutely breathtaking; most of our friends thought the background was fake (which it wasn't). We have her photos framed all over the house and even used one of her pictures for our 'Save the Date' magnet. We were seriously amazed and impressed with the outcome!So amazed and impressed, that we flew Julia and her associate out a year later to Las Vegas to photograph our wedding (June 1, 2013). Once again, they were very professional, the price was affordable and they took into account my vision of what I wanted. All the guests had extremely positive things to say about Julia; her ideas were fresh and innovative. We can hardly wait to see the photographs because we know they will be absolutely amazing...without a doubt!!! I never thought we would find such an amazing photographer for our wedding without the hefty price tag. Some local photographers we spoke to wanted $8,000 from us, not including any rights to the photos. Ridiculous!!!! You will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't use Julia Bach Photography!!! We love them and will definitely be using her services again in the future...baby photos, wedding vow renewal, etc.

I have worked with and known Julia for sometime now. She has incredible talent and skill when it comes to her style of photography. She is honest and sincere and her main goal is to make sure that she is providing her client with everything that they have wished for. She is flexible and makes you feel at ease. I have only participated with one on one test shoots with her and she was very good at directing the poses and she has an amazing eye for this stuff! You won't be disappointed in the results!!

I was vacationing in Hawaii when my boyfriend spontaneously proposed to me. Fortunately, we met Julia there and she did the most wonderful engagement shoot for us. She is a wonderful photographer with a unique eye. Our pictures were phenomenal! The settings she chose, how she posed us and what must have been some pretty serious retouching made for more beautiful pictures than I could have ever imagined. Not only were the pictures great, she was also truly a pleasure to work with. We look forward to having Julia photograph our upcoming wedding!

My fiancé Paul and I had our proposal and engagement shot by Julia and she was amazing. My fiancé had planned everything without me knowing and said she was great to work with. She was there waiting for us at Makapu'u (where Paul proposed)before he had asked me and got the entire moment on film. The pictures were absolutely wonderful!
