After physical therapy at Hale Pawa'a center, I decided to check out Juicy Brew for lunch. I picked up the Glass Noodle Salad (pictured) and Sunomono (pickled cucumber, not pictured) and I was overcharged by $3.00. I also observed a 2.9% Square Service Charge that I was not made aware of at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, the noodle salad was terrible in taste and texture. Very spicy and the noodles were all stuck and clumped together. It was difficult to eat without the noodles and toppings falling all over the place. The texture of the stuck together cold noodles were dry and funky. I do not recommend ordering this item. Cold Glass noodles: O/5 stars. The Sunomono was edible and not salty. It was $4.00. 3/5 stars. Service: 2/5 stars for incorrect charge and not informing me of service charges. I would've paid cash. The 2 star rating is for a cup of iced water I was provided with the salad. Ambiance: 2/5 stars. This is a countertop coffee shop based operation. No real decor. It's located on the first floor of Hale Pawa'a. I called the listed number for Juicy Brew to inform them of the incorrect charge and wanted to ask if this is the standard quality of the glass noodle salad. Perhaps it wasn't stored properly or was an older batch? However, at the number listed (808) 469-1991, no one answers and you are unable to leave a message. I did respond to the email request to let them know how my experience was, however, I have had no response as of the posting of my review.Update: 08/14/24- stopped by to check on the overcharge and glass noodle status. Nice employee acknowledged and reimbursed me for the $13.00! Very nice. She also offered me a substitute meal. She informed me that the phone number listed is no longer in service. I picked up the mushrooms sandwich. Stars for this visit: 4/5 service

An all vegan coffee stand in Hale Pawa'a. Most interesting latte choice I've seen in a while. I got the Black Velvet with an expresso shot. Black sesame, activated charcoal, vanilla syrup made with macadamia nut milk (Oat milk is the other choice). I only got a drink, but a variety of vegan food selections looked good (Breakfast items like scones and bagels to lunch bowls like kimchee mac & cheese and fried noodles). I'll definitely wait to eat before my mom's next appointment here so that I can try a few selections. Staff was fast and friendly once he returned from a 5-minute break. Indoor and limited outdoor seating. Easy to walk into off the corner of S. Beretania and Ke'eaumoku.

Located right in the heart of Hale Pawa'a lobby I've been curious of Juicy Brew as I've been having many doctors visit here usually after work 4ish they're always closed (3pm) so I never really knew what they have to offer going by the name I assumed it was a smoothie place...nope!This plant based cafe offers many items we're familiar with in a plant based style and yes they do have all your favorite brews from coffee, espresso, hot tea and even hot chocolate as it being plant based milk options are Oat, Pistachio and Macadamia. After a long 90 minute delay with my appointment I was annoyed enough to have some kind of craving and was just happy to see what they had to offer. Many of their food is a grab and go convenience from cookies, bagels and some pasta salads though one did catch my attention..."Watermelon Poke".Coincidentally it was National Watermelon Day and as I asked about it it has all the usual ingredients you'd make in a poke sauce though it marinated some chunks of watermelon...hmmm! Very interested I did get it as it already sounded refreshing and it was, BunBun and I enjoyed it and it was a nice twist from the usual beet or tofu version I thoroughly enjoyed it.The staff here is just a delight to answer any questions, and though it may not be a low carb or something you'd have a on a diet this is a plant based cafe that offers some things that are unique and their own...amazing!Thank you!

I've always heard of Juicy Brew, but never tried it until recently. My brother is not a vegan, but he swears by this place because of their unique menu. I ordered the Korean fried "chick'n" hirata buns and an iced lavender matcha latte with macadamia nut milk. Everything was made fresh to order and so delicious!I couldn't finish the entire meal so I ended up sharing the other bun with my dad. He was pleasantly surprised that it was completely vegan. I can't wait to visit home again to try more items on Juicy Brew's menu.

The food is beautiful and delicious! I'm not vegan but i would eat any of their food over again. The flavors are incredible. I wish i had taken photos before I devoured it. Katsu burger, papusas, and hirata buns are winners. We had hibiscus tea with a little bit of the lavender lemonade and loved it.

Delicious food! I love all the Hawaiian-infused options, I'd love to return to try everything. They also get bonus points for being the only vegan restaurant open on Sunday at 3 pm!

Wow! My daughter recently discovered her sensitivity to dairy so we try to make as many meals as possible dairy-free. I've been following Juicy Brew on IG for awhile - the food looks fabulous - and with the additional pressure of having to deconstruct every little thing when we eat out we decided maybe going to a vegan place might be a lot less stressful - no more having to ask, "does this have dairy in it?" And we were right! But we were in no way prepared for the elegance and sheer deliciousness of this food! The lilikoi pineapple mochi waffles and the savory roll were amazing! The waffles were topped with what looked like housemade granola and Lilikoi curd (we're not sure if the pineapple would have been in the curd or in chunks or what) and was supreme! Sometimes when you get a mochi waffle it can be so sweet your teeth hurt - but not here! This dish was incredibly balanced. We got the savory roll - a strange, kind of nondescript name - but for $4 we thought we would give it a go. Well let me tell you, this baby was worth it! Full flavored goodness, great texture - we thought it tasted a lot like crab cakes. We also got a pesto mushroom melt sammie (portabella mushrooms, spinach, and a whole lotta other goodness) - it was really good too, and so satisfying! We haven't tried the cookie yet - you gotta save a little something for later! :)Street parking only but there are 3 metered stalls right in the front, as well as some free street parking on the adjacent street. People are flying in an out constantly so you just have to get lucky! In this time of COVID you can order online, call, or walk in and order - they're pretty flexible. And your order is ready pretty quickly! The ladies we talked to were really nice, even when we asked to add on to our order. We loved getting such a quality meal at such an affordable price - all that was around $35! - but we also loved supporting such a lovely local biz. Hopefully we'll be able to eat in soon!

I was pescatarian (the only meat I ate was fish) for ten years. During this time period, I was vegan for one year.In June 2013, I made the conscious decision to eat meat again, but to try my best to be mindful of eating meat. For example, I eat meat when visiting a family or friends and eating in their home. I also eat meat when dining out, but try to know where the meat is coming from. I do, occasionally, eat meat at home, but typically it is fish from LocalIa or another local meat source. I also love Forage Hawaii's Bone Broth Chili! All of this aside (it does not matter in the context), JUICY BREW IS AMAZING!! It doesnt matter what kind of diet you prefer or must prescribe to; everyone LOVES it!!!I'm not sure I even want to post this review because they're so so good. They have a location in Kaimuki. You can order online and pick up (curbside, if you wish!). You can also walk in and they have a small café style dining area. There is also a location at Hale Pawaa medical building. I have been to both locations. Hale Pawaa when I have had appointments in the building. Kaimuki location is lovely and I have dined there several times and always leave so happy (and inspired to recreate these amazing dishes at home- an impossible task!!). In the pandemic life, I have taken advantage of the order online/pick up curbside option at Kaimuki. Recently I enjoyed a housemade tea, the housemade bao buns with "chickn", housemade mochi, banana bread, and a cheesecake. ALL DELICIOUS!! Hale Pawaa location has more "grab and go" items, but, recently, I enjoyed a delicious mushroom sandwich on Focaccia (bread by The Bread Shop Honolulu!!) and Split Pea Soup. I also had to grab a few of the blueberry mochi as well! You can tell there is so much LOVE in this food! It is delicious and much time, energy, and pure love has gone into the creation of these recipes and their preparation! I love you Juicy Brew! PS- Even their rice is amazing!! I dont give my dog any people food. Hes 17 and on a very healthy dog food (and an array of healthy treats), but, sometimes, Ill give hun a little JB rice and he LOVES it. He will keep asking for more, in his own adorable way!

I really wished I worked in this building. Having good quality coffee and amazing vegan and vegetarian food every day would be so great.I only come here when I have a doctor's appointment. So maybe every six months or so. I should really make an attempt to come here for lunch on a weekly basis because the food here is so good.I love the creativity with vegan foods. I mean how do you make jackfruit taste like tuna? It is so good the texture is just like tuna amazing. Their breakfast sandwiches will keep you full all the way through lunch. I love how they make their own "sausages" I mean if you did not know it was vegetarian you would not know the difference. It is not a store-bought processed food, but they make it in house. If you ever get a chance you should definitely try the portobello mushroom sandwich it is one of my favorites.

Dropped off my wife for a doctors appointment at the Hale Pawa'a this morning. I seen a nice little cafe in the Lobby so decided to get me a ice coffee. I ordered a iced coffee didn't realize this Cafe is a all vegan place. I realize this when I ask to add milk or sugar and the Barista replied we only have Soy, Almond, coconut milk and for sugar only cane liquid and Agave. I knew this place was a healthy place not for me give me my Starbucks lol.. Although their showcase with lunch items looks pretty good very healthy I guess I should start eating healthy. Like Saitan stuff Katsu , and Cauliflower stuff Aburage and other veggies. Overall very clean nice Barista friendly and of course very convenient the only place in the lobby
