Juancho's

Being from California, it's difficult to find good Mexican food. Or tex-next for that fact. Rarely do I see a food truck attempt to replicate what they do so much if on the mainland, which is good home cooked Mexican food! Juanchos hit the Mark!I was able to find them in Laie on Friday afternoon, took half the family there to eat (plus my wife is a very picky eater). Was surprised there wasn't a little more on the menu, so we got 1 of each item. We were pleasantly surprised! Not only for the portion, but the taste was awesome!What's another plus is we had just a bit of leftovers, which lasted only 2 hrs before it was devoured! Needless to say I'm very happy I was able to find this gem out here and now look forward to the hunt on their next location!! Look forward to many more great meals too!! Oh and plus the staff was very nice!!

I love Juancho's. I might be biased but I never liked tacos, nachos or tex mex salads until i had juancho's!! Really, you won't find anything like this deliciousness anywhere else in Hawaii. Trust me. I grew up here and have visited most of the islands! Check out his Facebook or call for catering. You won't be disappointed.

"There is a price to pay to live in paradise." For me the biggest price is leaving delicious Mexican food on the mainland. Oahu seems to be devoid of quality Mexican or tex mex options. Luckily for me, we found Juancho's.Once you find the truck, you might not expect a whole lot because it doesn't look like your traditional food truck. N fact it kind of looks likes a u-haul with a kitchen. I was skeptical, but the inside looked really clean and the owner seemed really nice so I took a chance. I'm glad I followed through. Once you take your first bite, you can't shovel it in fast enough, it was delicious! I got the pork tacos and my wife got the chicken tacos. The meat was tender and full of flavor. And I loved the sauce that they were topped with! Keep us updated so we know where we can get some more tacos. Next time I will bring friends.
