Seriously amazing and got to meet the infamous John, himself! All the fixings provided for your hotdog needs. Plus, John also sells really cool shirts that are exactly like the logo and what John wears! You can't go wrong with stopping by and grabbing yourself a hotdog, chips, and a coke! John is a super nice guy and very friendly, he's been in the hotdog business for close to 20 years. Support local business and grab yourself a hotdog!

Happy National Hot Dog Day...What better way than to enjoy a yummy right along the beach and you can do so thanks to John and his World Famous Hot dog as it's brightly yellow sign you can't miss is right outside the back of Ilikai and if you can't find parking you can stay in your car right beside the tent and they will take the curbside order from you.I was lucky to have found a spot and was surprised to see that it's not only the Beef Jumbo is available but Chicken and Veggie as well all at $10 which i found was a bit steep but it does come with a lot of topping which you can have (ketchup, yellow mustard, spicy mustard, sauerkraut, relish, jalapeño, cheese, onions and barbecue sauce) quite the choices though for me is the ketchup, mustard and jalapeños it was a hearty bite.Love the vibe as the staff is very friendly and quick...if you pay cash is $10 straight but tax is included with credit card payment. Thank you!

Hot and freshly grilled hotdog in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii...I parked at the free parking lot at the beach behind the Ilikai Hotel and saw John's World Famous Hawaii. The tent is located in the parking lot next to Hilton Hawaiian Village's man-made lagoon. We looked at the menu, and Peter asked, "What toppings?"I answered: everything except jalapeños and hot mustard. Peter didn't want ketchup, so we ended up with onions, mustard, and relish. The best part about this small business is John. He's very welcoming, friendly, and efficient! His smile and personality are probably the keys to success. The hotdog was juicy and deliciously moist. The smokey flavor and hot-off-the-grill temperature are winners!If you're in the area, check it out! There are vegan options, too... and more toppings such as cheese, sauerkraut, mayo, and BBQ sauce!

Loved the hot dog, and loved the service. Tarah was wonderful and welcoming, and the stand was very easy to find. Cannot miss those bright yellow signs! Nice casual meal which was exactly what we were looking for. Nothing fancy, but if you want a good hotdog with great toppings, this is the place.

Extremely average dog, the name of this place is very misleading and inaccurate. People buy from here because it's close to the beach, fast, and convenient, but not really for the taste which is very average. And since it is next to the beach, it is much more expensive than it should be. Also, multiple days in a row they late, so don't trust the hours listed online.

John's hot dogs are hands down THE BEST! We were disappointed on our recent visit to Oahu to find that Frank's Haute Dogs is closing. John's is a true find! His dogs are superior to Frank's. He has excellent customer service. Buy a dog and enjoy the beach! You'll want to come back I promise!

Ordering was chaotic. Hotdogs were mid at best. Bun fell apart and was dry. Nothing Hawaiian about this. 10 dollar hot dogs while costcos 1.50 deal is honestly better

Taste is like a grilled Costco hot dog. Very tasty and lots of sides. My issue is that their hours are completely inaccurate. They are supposed to be open 1-8 pm every day. I tried to go Saturday. Not there. The number I text said they have an event and would be there Sunday. I came back on Sunday, still not there. He text that he will for sure be there Monday. I text Monday to make sure and he said "I will be set up and ready to go at 1:00". I showed up at 1:09 pm and nothing. I text again and he says he's "en route." I gave up. I then found a really good food truck next to the lagoon that actually wants to work. They have large flags and the best pina colada ever.When we returned and they were finally there on Tuesday at 6:00 pm, I tried to redeem my yelp offer. They said they don't accept that anymore. (THEN UPDATE YOUR YELP PAGE!) I paid with my credit card and they charged me fees. No sign indicating so. It's just a very poorly run business. IF you have no other options, give it a try but good luck if they're actually open.

This place is amazing! Gorgeous views from a street side vendor with the best hot dogs you'll taste on O'ahu! The chef is super friendly and will make you want to enjoy a hot dog every time you're in the area, just to talk story! Fridays are busy, so come early! Mahalo for the 'ono hot dogs and excellent service in one of the most beautiful locations on island! Aloha!

We were greeted by a fellow veteran so the customer service was outstanding. Their dogs are delicious! This is a spot we go to every year when we vacation here.
